This invention relates to a cocktail bar, the general object of the invention being to provide a compactly arranged device containing refrigerating means for forming ice cubes, cooling bottles containing liquid and having a chilled water supply system associated therewith, with compartments for containing various objects for facilitating mixing cocktails and other drinks and for keeping articles of various kinds in a chilled state.

This invention also consists in certain other features of construction vand in the combination and arrangement of the several parts to be hereinafter fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings and specifically pointed out in the appended claims.

In describing the invention in detail, reference will be had to the accompanying drawings wherein like characters denote like or corresponding parts throughout the several views, and in which:

Figure l is a rear view of the device.

Figure 2 is a top plan view thereof.

Figure 3 is a section on the line 3--3 of Figure 1.

Figure 4 is a section on the line 4-4 of Figure 2.

In these views the letter A indicates a cabinet, the walls of which are provided with suitable insulating means a and said cabinet has a high front wall with a bar forming top part I extending rearwardly at right angles from the front wall with the side walls extending up to the part I and from the rear portion of this part I the sides slope downwardly and rearwardly as shown at 2. A refrigerating chamber 3 is formed in the upper portion of the front of the cabinet, the rear wall 4 of which has openings therein for the passage of the ice trays and these openings are closed by the doors 5, the hinges of which are shown at Ii. The bottom of the chamber is shown at I and slopes downwardly and forwardly and terminates short of the front wall of the cabinet so as to form a drip or drain board. The trays are shown at 9 and the refrigerating coil is shown at III.

A work board or shelf II extends horizontally across the rear portion of the cabinet below the sloping upper edges of the side walls and a downwardly and forwardly sloping chamber forming member I2 has its open top located between the lower edge of the partition wall 4 and the front edge of the shelf II, this member I2 forming a bottle receiving well.

A horizontal partition I3 is spaced below the shelf II and extends from the member I2 to the rear wall of the cabinet and these parts II and I2 form a space for receiving the drawers I4. Vertical and horizontal partitions I5 and I6 are located in the cabinet below the parts I3 and I2 and form a plurality of compartments for receiving various kinds of articles and access to these compartments is provided by means of the doors I1 in the rear wall of the cabinet.

Refrigerating coils I8 are located in the cabinet in suitable positions for chilling materials or liquids placed in the Various parts thereof and, of course, these coils I8 and the coil I0 are connected to suitable refrigerating means. A cold water coil 20 is located in the cabinet and is suitably connected to a source of supply and a pipe 2I leads from the upper end of the coil to a spigot 22 carried by the wall 4. An ice receiving tray 23 depends from the central portion of the shelf II and is located under the spigot and suitable drain pipes 24 lead from the various parts of the apparatuswhich lead draining to a drain outlet in the bottom of the cabinet.

If desired doors can be provided for closing the rear portion of the top of the cabinet by engaging the sloping walls 2 and drawers can be placed in all or some of the partitions formed by the partitions I5 and I 6.

Thus it will be seen that I have provided a compact arrangement of parts, the top of the cabinet forming a bar on which drinks and the like can be placed so that they can be reached by customers or persons standing in front of the device with means in the upper portion of the cabinet for forming ice cubes, other means in which bottles can be placed to cool liquid therein, these bottles being accessible by the bartender by reaching over the shelf II to reach the bottles in the casing I2A and the bottles can be placed on the shelf II while mixing drinks.

The drawers I4 can be used for receiving various articles such as lemons, limes, oranges and the like while the tray 23 will receive a surplus supply of ice. Also chilled water can be secured by turning on the spigot 22 and other articles to be chilled can be placed in the compartments formed by partitions I5 and I6 and these compartments can be made to form drawer receiving spaces instead of being closed by the doors Il.

It is thought from the foregoing description that the advantages and novel features of the invention will be readily apparent.

It is to be understood that changes may be made in the construction and in the combination and arrangement of the several parts provided that such changes fall within the scope of the appended claims.

Having described the claimed as new is:

1. In a cocktail cabinet, a cabinet having a high front portion the top of which forms a bar including a rear wall, means in the high portion for forming ice cubes, a rear shelf forming member located below the plane of the ice forming means, and a forwardly and downwardly inclined bottle Well located between the rear edge of the shelf forming member and the rear wall of the bar, and drawers located under the shelf forming portion.
