in conveniently accessible form on the wind-- shield of an automobile 'or upon any other convenient support,
More particularly stated, it is my purpose to provide a vacuum cup with a bracketpreferably cbnstituted from a single piece of material, preferably wire, so bent and organized as to provide for the support of the open cigarette pack-- age and at the same time to provide conveniently spaced means readily engageable and disengageable with an open match book.
Other objects will appear in more detail from the following disclosure.

Figure 2 is a similar view in perspective of the device without the cigarette carton or match i booh. v
ure 3 is a view of the device in rear elevation. m Figure i is a view of the device in side elevaon. Like parts are identified by the same reference characters throughout the several views. While stampings or other materials may be used in the assembly of this device, the invention will be exemplified by description of a preferred embodiment in which the frame is made of wire.
f'he vacuum cup 5 made according to conventional practice of rubber or lilre material, is provided at its center with a specially shaped fitting ii, preferably of metal, which serves as a mounting for the cigarette and match holder frame.
dill
A single piece of wire has its central portion 1 formed to constitute a rectangular frame closed at it by twisting the end strands of the wire togather, as such strands are twisted they are engaged over the spool-shaped fitting 6 and the twisting is continued at t, thus providing between the twisted portions d and t of the wire an eye it in which the spool-shaped fitting t is engaged.
Below the intertwisted combined strand d of the wire the two terminal strands ii and if errtend downwardly and divergently and thence forwardly at it and i i respectively beneath the projected area of the rectangular frame l for the support of the cigarette carton it engaged in At It and if the respective strands extend upwardly along the front face of the carton and at liiand idthey are turned inwardly in alignment with each other to be received into the fold 20 of a match book.
The match book cover 2| has been passed through the rectangular wire frame I and thence folded inside of the match comb 22. The spacing between the frame i and the inwardly turned prongs i8 and It constituting the terminals of 0 the wire is such that with-the frame I engaged in the bight ft of the match book cover the prongs iii and it! will just fit into the bight it at the lower end of the match book and behind the striking surface it, thus holding the match zontal direction by the frame I.
I claim: 1. A device of the character described, com
prising the combination with a central support at having a connecting member, of a wire having its intermediate portion looped to constitute a generally rectangular frame spaced above said support, said wire having strands twisted together to close said frame and extending thence downwardly and embracing said connecting member, the terminal portions of said wire being twisted together to extend below said member and thence being divergent and extended outwardly beneath said frame and upwardly at the front of said frame and therebelow, whereby to provide a saddle co-acting with said frame to receive and carry a carton. 2. A device of the character described, comprising the combination with a central support w having a connecting member, of a wire having its intermediate portion looped to constitute a generally rectangular frame spaced above said support, said wire having strands twistedtogether to close said frame and extending thence down- 45 wardly and embracing said connecting member, the terminal portions of said wire being twisted together to extend below said member and thence being divergent and extended outwardly beneath said frame and upwardly at the front of said 50 frame and therebelow, whereby to provide a saddle co-acting with said frame to receive and carry a carton, said saddle and wire terminals having portions spaced at an appropriate distance to be engageabie in the spaced bights of w v the match book for holding the book in frontof the carton.
3. In a device of the character described, the combination with a support. of a carton carrier comprising an upper frame and a lower saddle and means connecting said frame and saddle, said frame and saddle being adapted to receive a carton and being provided with relatively yieldable match book engaging prongs spaced below said frame in a position to be engaged in the lower bight of a match book having said frame engaged within the top bight of its cover. a
4. In a device of the character described, the
combination with a frame positioned for engagement with a cigarette carton near the top thereof,
of saddle means in operative connection with the frame and adapted for engagement with the lower portions of a carton held by said frame, of-
yieldable terminal prongs carried by said saddle means in normal and substantial alignment with each other, of a spacing below said frame such as to be adapted for detachable engagement in the lower bight of a match mook when the upper bight of the cover of the match book is engaged about said frame.
5. In a skeletonized holder for a cigarette carton and a match book, the combination with a central support and a vacuum cup mounting therefor, of a substantially closed top rectangular frame connected at its rear to said support and 4 aieaaae adapted to receive ing a substantially horizontal front member over a match book, the combination with an upright support'and a vacuum cup mounting secured to said support intermediate its top and bottom, of skeletonized upper and lower means projecting forwardly from said support in positions to receive and carrya cigarette carton, said upper means comprising a substantially closed rectangular frame having a substantially horizontal front member over which the fold of a match book cover is adapted to be engaged, said lower means comprising a part projecting beneath said frame to carry a carton positioned thereon, and
another part extending substantially horizontal ly in front of a front portion of a carton so carried and at a spacing from said member to engage the lower portion of .a match book having its cover fold engaged with said member.
