It is obvious that filler bushings of different diameters may be substituted, but only one such bushing is illustrated, though the others may be the same construction except as to thickness, and it is shown on the drawing that the lower edge of the bushing rests on a shoulder 39 of the plate I.
We claim:
1. A liner puller comprising a mandrel, a body in which the lower end of the mandrel is swiveled, a sleeve on the mandrel attached to the body, said sleeve having a circumferential slot, an arm movable in the slot and secured to the mandrel for turning the same, means for holding the arm in different positions of adjustment, jaws slidable radially in the body, said jaws having diagonal slots near their inner ends, projections on the mandrel extending into said slots acting on the camming edges of the slots to project and retract the jaws as the mandrel is rotated, and means for exerting a pull on the mandrel longitudinally thereof.
2. A' liner puller comprising a mandrel, a body in which the lower end of the mandrel is swiveled, a sleeve on the mandrel attached to the body, said sleeve having a circumferential slot, an arm movable in the slot and secured to the mandrel for turning the same, means for holding the arm in different positions of adjustment, jaws slidable radially in the body, said jaws having diagonal slots near their inner ends, projections on the mandrel extending into said slots acting on the camming edges of the slots to project and retract the jaws as the mandrel is rotated, threads on the mandrel near its upper end, a cross-bar to be supported through which the mandrel is movable, a nut on the mandrel above the cross-bar for pulling the cross-bar, and anti-friction elements between the nut and. cross-bar.
