Application August 25, 1937, Serial No. 160,811 2Claims.(Ol.103-46)' Fig. '7 is an enlarged detail. of the connection Y My invention relates to deep well motor pumps and has for its chief object a motor system comprising-a pair-of cylinders, each'having a piston '.and rod,the rods upwardly extending, the cylinders having an oil well with pump rodtherebetween, and means to connect, the upper ends of the piston rods to the pump rod, and a third cylinder horizontally disposed and having a piston and rod positioned therein and power means to actuate the piston reciprocatingly and a pipe connecting said cylinders, 'the pipe and cylinders between their respective pistons being filled-with oil or thelike, by which means displacement of the oil reciprocatingly by the piston of the last said cylinder will act upon the pair of cylinder pistons in like manner' as actuating means for i a the oil well pump, and the said horizontally posi-' tionedcylinder may be spaced a considerable distance from the well without impairing seriously the capacity of the motor. I
A further object of my invention is toprovide an auxiliary supply tank for the motor system, said tank being connected to the pipe line and adapted to ,supply fluid automatically as required, the tank having a check valve to close against compression in the motor system, said valve to open under vacuum strain to supply deficiency of fluid therein.
A still further object'of my invention is to provide a motorpump that will'work in connection with pump jacks commonly employed inoil. fields,'the hookup being such that the gravity pull of theppolish rod of one well will assist in raising the pump rod of another well and vice versa alternately.
These and other objects will hereinafter be. more fully explained, reference being had to'the accompanyingdrawings forming a part or this specification and in which like characters will apply to like'parts in the different view Referring to the drawings:-

The said rods each have a lug ll adapted to seat in a pocket 20 positioned in each end of thevyoke, and secured therein by a pin 2| extending through the walls of the pocket and passing through an elongated slot 22 transversely-crossing the lug, by which means rocking movement of the yoke will not aflect vertical alignment of said rods in theln movement, such movement being due to unequal hoisting power of the cylinders.
It will also be understood that the pipe line 8' and cylinder i will be solidly filled with oil, ineluding the space below pistons i4, and being so filled the said pair of pistons I4 will be forced upward as piston I is moved toward the conical end of its respective cylinder I, the movement being through the medium of a'crank 23 formed in ashaft" that is power actuated. The said crank and cross head I are joined by a connecting rod '28, one end of which is hingedly connected to the weaw I cross head 8 while the other end is pivotally secured to .the crank, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2. It is understood that the said worm is mounted on shaft I! that extends to a power actuating means therefor, said meansnot shown in-the drawings, and that suchother modifications may be employed as lie within the scope of the appended claims.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent iszl5 1. In a deep well motor pump, the combinatiom of a pairof head hoisting cylinders, for one of a pair ofoil wells, each of which has a pump rod. each cylinder having a piston and a-hollow aper tured rod to avoid compression in the upper stroke ofthe pistons and means to connect the rods to oneof said pump rods, ofa compression c; linder and. pressure pipe line for the hoists, said cylinder and pressure line being filled with oil, of a piston positioned in the end of the compression cylinder opposite its pipe connection, said piston having a rod, and power actuating means therefor to move the piston to the other end of the said compression cylinder and cause return of the same which in turn eifects the'movement of each hoist piston simultaneously to actuate the pump'rod, .of an auxiliary tank having a check valve adjacent the pressure line as automatic means to supply oil to the pressure. li'ne and compression cylinder. as the oil exhausts therefrom, of a piston rod and-guiding means therefor, of a shaft having two cranks rotatable therewith and mechanical power to turn the shaft, means to connect one of the cranks to the piston rod as actuating means therefor, and means to connect the other crank 10 the other pump rod for the purpose specified:
