My invention relates to a cycle indicating device and more particularly to a cyclic calendar for women to determine their periods of fertility and sterility by the time of their menstruation.
An object of my invention is to provide a calendar by which any day can be set as first day of menstruation and by which the longest and shortest time from beginning of menstruation to the beginning of the next menstruation can be determined.
A further object of this invention is to provide a device by which the possible time of the occurrence of ovulation can be determined in ad- Vance by the setting of the date of the beginning of the last menstruation.
A full understanding of the construction and operation of my invention will be derived from the drawing, and their description, in which,

Similar letters refer to similar parts throughout the several views.
The plate a provided with slots b, c, and c has twelve grooves e for the twelve months of the year which are formed by eleven ribs cl on both sides of plate a.
Below slot c and above groove e for the month of January beginning on slot b the numerals from 1 to 35 are printed equally spaced on plate a. and indicate days from start of menstruation. On the left hand side of slot b` the names of the months are printed into the grooves e as shown in Fig. 1. On the right hand side of slot b, bands f with the days of the corresponding and consecutive months printed on, are inserted into the grooves e and joined in the back by the fitting i with a hole in the center for a pencil point to enable adjustment of the bands f to the first day of menstruation, which is to be shown next to transparent colors Z-Z and m-m. Each indi- Gator-window covers 19 days on the calendar. Each green color section l and Z' on the left hand side of the indicator-windows h and h covers 7 days of the calendar. Each red color section m and m on the right hand side of the indicators h and h' covers one day of the calendar. The red sections of the indicators are to be set to show the longest and the shortest cycle from beginning of menstruation to beginning of the next menstruation on plate a by days, which can be determined by keeping an accurate record for one year. The green color section of the indicators h and h on plate a indicates the period of possible fertility and conception, as to the basic facts of the female sexual cycle.
Various changes may be made in the embodiment of my invention herein specifically described without departing from or sacricing any of the advantages of the invention as dened in the appended claims.
I claim:
l. The combination, in a cycle calendar, of a slotted plate having twelve grooves therein corresponding to the twelve months of the year, and a band slidably mounted in each groove having thereon the days of the corresponding month and the days of the succeeding month, with two transparent indicator members, each composed of one non-colored and two different colored sections and having springs to engage the slots of the plate for mounting the indicator members on the plate in overlapping relation and with the Zones formed by the sections lying transversely of the month day bands, substantially as set forth.
2. The combination, in a cycle calendar, of a plate having thereon the numerals 1 to 35 in consecutive order along one edge, and having twelve bands bearing the day indicia of the twelve months in order, each band also bearing the indicia of the following month in succession thereon and said bands being adjustably mounted on said plate, whereby the beginning day of each cycle may be brought under the numeral l, and two transparent indicator sheets slidably mounted on said plate in overlapping adjustable relation, said sheets having corresponding zones of diierent colors thereon extending transversely across the days of the month bands, for designating the various periods in a cycle according to individual requirements.
