I claim: 7
1. A door construction comprising, in combination, an inclined wall having a doorway therein, a door therefor, pivotal supporting means forming an extended axis inclined the same as said wall and constituting the sole axis about which the door swings, and means for effecting vertical bodily movement of said door solely along said extended axis during swinging of the door.
2, A door construction comprising, in combination, an inclined wall having a doorway therein, a doorvtherefor, a hinge adapted to support said door upon anjaxis inclined the same as said wall and includinga guiding element and a hinge pin element extending therethrough, means for normally immovably securing one of .said elements to said wall, means for normally immovably securing the other of said elements to said door whereby the door is adapted to be swung around and maintain a uniform lateral relation to the axis of said pin throughout all door movement and bodily move vertically solely along the axis of said elements during swinging movement of thedoor, and means for effecting said bodily axial movement of the door during swinging thereof.
3. A door construction comprising, in combination, an inclined wall having a doorway therein, a door therefor, means for pivotally and vertically movably supporting said door about an axis inclined the same as said wall and for maintaining a uniform lateral relation between said axis and door throughout all movement thereof, and means for effecting vertical bodily movement of the door during swinging thereof.
4. A door construction comprising, in combination, an inclined wall having a doorway therein, a door therefor, means for pivotally and vertically movably supporting said door about an axis inclined the same as said wall and for maintaining a uniform lateral relation between said axis and door throughout all movement thereof, means for effecting vertical bodily movement of the door during swinging thereof, and means for holding said door in its open position.
5. A door construction comprising, in combination, an inclined wall having a doorway therein, a door therefor, means for pivotally and vertically movably. supporting said door about an axis inclined the same as said wall and for maintaining a uniform lateral relation between said axis and door throughout all movement thereof,
means for effecting vertical bodily movement of the door during swinging thereof, means providing a floor recess, and a member carried by the door for cooperation therewith to hold the door in open position. i
