A sanitary food envelope and the like comprising a rectangular panel, a triangular panel joined by folding lines to opposite sides of the said rectangular panel, a triangular panel joined by folding lines to each of the firstementioned triangular panels, narrow rectangular panels joined by folding lines to each of the secondmentioned triangular panels, triangular tabs joined by folding lines to the first-mentioned rectangular panel and the second-mentioned rectangular panels, and the said triangular tabs being joined together by folding lines, one of the narrow rectangular panels and its attached triangular panel being folded to overlie the said rectangular panel and the triangular panel adjacent the said attached triangular panel respectively, and the tab of the first-mentioned narrow rectangular panel being folded to overlie the triangular tab of the rectangular panel, the second narrow rectangular panel and its attached triangular panel being folded to overlie the first folded narrow rectangular panel and the triangular panel adjacent the second-mentioned attached triangular panel respectively, and the triangular tab of the second folded narrow rectangular panel being folded to overlie the triangular tab of the other narrow rectangular panel, the second folded'narrow rectangular panel and its triangular tab portion being adhesively secured to "the first folded narrow rectangular panel and its triangular tab portion re-- spectively, and the overlapping triangular tab 'portions being folded and adhesively secured to the second folded narrow rectangular panel thereby forming a six sided distended envelope of open form tapering to a bottom closure.
