2 Claims. (01. 2-87) This invention relates generally to wearing apviding a chamber I of cross sectional rounded or parel, and its general object is to provide an oval configuration, extending longitudinally and attachment that is primarily designed for use centrally of the strip to provide flat upper and with raincoats and the like for disposal circumlower portions 2 and 3 respectively. The tubular 5 ferentially about the inner side adjacent to the portion is preferably co-extensive with the length lower edge thereof, to hold the latter spaced outof the strip, and has one end closed as at 4, while wardly and away from the garments worn below the opposite end is open, for the purpose of introthe same, to direct rain water and the like acducing air therein by any well known means, or cordingly from the garments as well as from merely by manually blowing therein, until the the shoes of the wearer, so as to prevent water tubular portion becomes inflated, as will be ap- 10 damage thereto and discomfort caused by water p soaked or wet material. The open end of the tubular portion is closed A further object of the invention is to promerely by folding the strip upon itself as shown vide a rain garment attachment of the character in Figure 2 and applying a U-shaped clamp 5 16 set forth that is inflatable, and is filled with air to the folded portions, so as to prevent the escape when in use, to accomplish its intended purpose, of air therefrom.

What I claim is:
Referring to the drawing in detail, it will be 1. A garment comprising a freely depending noted that I have illustrated y device as being skirt like portion, a strip of elastic material inattached to a raincoat, for use therewith, but I eluding a fiat portion e ur d circumferentially 50 Want it understood that it can be attached to any about the inner side of the skirt like portion adtyp of rain garment. d n t e o as s w jacent to the lower edge thereof, an inflatable in ludes es n ly a r ly na r w p, p tubular portion included in the strip and having erably made from rubber or other leak proof maan open end, said tubular portion adapted when terial in a manner to form a tube portion pr inflated to hold said lower edge of the skirt like 55 like portion circumferentially about the inner side adjacent to the lower edge thereof, and said tubular portion having a closed end and an open end and adapted to be inflated to hold said lower edge of the skirt like portion outwardly flared and 5 means for closing the open end.
