NARSIOE SAILVAIL, OF WINSTED, MINNESOTA.
IMPROVEMENT IN LINIMENTS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 211,477, dated January 21, 1879; application filed October 5, 1878.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, NARSIOE SAILVAIL, of. Winsted, in the county of McLeod and State of Minnesota, have discovered a certain new and useful compound for medicinal purposes,
- which compound is fully set forth in the follum Americanmn three ounces (3 oz.) of
bloodroot, (Sanguinazia Gtmadensis three ounces (3 oz.) of camphor-gum.
These are all placed in the alcohol in a close vessel and allowed to stand for eight or ten weeks, when the liquid is drawn off and hot-- tled for use.
The medicine is used in the cure of burns, sprains, bruises, rheumatism, fever-sores, 850., as a liniment.
Having thus described my discovery, 1 claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The medical compound consisting of sumacbark, spikenard-bark, tamarack-bark, pricklyash bark, bloodroot, camphor-gum, and alcohol, in or about the proportions hereinbefore specified.
