As the last two fastener members are disengaged just below the. slider, then the remaining fastening members (herein shown as two in number) on the stringer 5 may be moved out of the bottom of the slider because the width of the bead 23 of the stop member 20 is sufficiently narrow to permit passage of the fastening element l6 and the clamping piece 26 between the outer edge of the bead and the wall of the slider, as clearly illustrated in Fig. 2. After the stringer 5 has been pulled entirely free from the slider l9 then the slider may be moved to the bottom of the stringer 2 and the end separable fastening element may be engaged and the slider moved upwardly again properly to engage the fastening members l6.
