1 Claim. (01. 294m) .This invention relates to a combined toolholder and, chip breaker particularly. adapted to be mounted on the tool slides of lathes, planets and similar machine tools.

With the above and other objects in may invention consists in the features of construction and operation set forth in the following specification and illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
In the accompanying drawing annexed hereto and forming a part of this specification I have shown my invention embodied in a two-part tool holder for lathes or planers within which is adjustably and removably mounted a cutting tool preferably of special tungsten carbide or other selected high speed cutting steel removably mounted in the holder. It will be understood, however, that the invention can be otherwise embodied and that the drawing is not to be construed as defining or limiting the scope of the invention, the claim appended to this specification being relied upon for that purpose.
