Referring tothe drawing, the tobacco pouch is indicated at I0. This. pouch may be formed of any material suitable ior this purpose, such as leather, cloth, etc. The pouch includes two compartments, indicated at il and I2 respectively.' The pouch structure is subdivided to pouch is readily closed by means of the convenprovide these compartments or receptacles by means of stitching I3, extending from the top to the bottom edge of the pouch. This stitching is disposed toward'one end edge thereof so as to provide an elongated or narrow compart- 5 ment or sheath which is open at the top, as at i4. This sheath or receptacle Ii is adapted to receive a blade I5. The blade is formed of hat stock and has its operating end curved to a point. It is attached to the pouch by means of a fiexilble strap or thong I6, laced through a slot il in the end of the blade.

The ends of the strap are secured together and incorporate the female element i8 ci va snap tastener device i9. Thus the thong or strap is in l5 the form of a loop.v The complementary part or male element of the snap fastener device is secured t the side wall of the sheath adiacent the upper end thereof. Accordingly, the

cleaning blade is readily fastened in position so that it does not accidentally become detached from the' pouch, yet is conveniently accessible and removable when the smoker desires to use the same. The tobacco receptacle portion ofthe tional zipper shown at 22.

By means of the present improvement all oi' the diiliculties of performing the pipe cleaning operation are eliminated. A very convenient and eillcient cleaning device is provided in conjunction with the tobacco supply providing the means for cleaning the pipe. Accessibility and location are aiorded under 'the mostconvenient conditions possible for the reason that the smoker naturally thinks of-cleaning his pipe just be- 3 fore he fills it. -With the means at hand, as provided herein, he has no trouble in eiilciently eliminating any clogged 'condition which may exist.

Having vdescribed my invention, I claim:

-1. A device of the class described comprising a tobacco pouch formed of leather or the like, the walls of the pouch secured together along a line parallel to and relatively close to one edge 4- of the pouch to form a. long narrow compartment serving as a sheath. a pipe cleaner blade mounted in said sheath and including a handle element attached to the end of the blade opposite to the end thereof which is used, said handle element including means for attachment -to a wall of the compartment when the blade is inserted in the sheath.

2. A new article oi' manufacture comprising a tobacco pouch formed oi'leather or the like and providing adjacent side walls Joined along all of the edges thereof but one, said side walls additionally joined together along a line adjacent andparallel to a side edge o! the pouch providing a sheath open at one end, a pipe cleaner blade insertable into said sheath through said open end and including a thong attached to the curing the blade against displacement from the sheath.
