It will also be seen that the side wall ofthe container in which the spout is formed is made up of two

3 and 5, the layer 5 being the outermost layer, and the opening I0 providesa cutaway portion which is opposite the spout. The

' entire container is enclosedin a suitable-label or wrapper I3 which is provided with a readily fran'gible portion I4 which is ldisposed opposite the spout and overlies the cut-out portion I0.

. The end ofthe tab .9 projects outwardly a slight distance beyondl the -top edge of the spout 1 and holds the wrapper in spaced relation with respect yto the'spout. The opening in the sidewall of Y' the containery opposite the spout 1 iscoveredonly yj with the v4wrapper I3 and to obtain access to the spout, the thumb is inserted into this space and moved upwardly until it engages the projecting A.end ofthe tab 9 which facilitates theremoval of' that portion of the wrapper covering the spout.

It is also. to be noted thatV the topl of the spout, when inthe non-pouring position, is disposed at the intersection of aside wall, and the top wall of the container whichvfacilitates dispensing from the container all of the contents thereof. Anotherv feature of the invention isthat the side .wall'of the container containing the spout is made upv of twolayers, the outermost layer being cutawayvopposite the spout to facilitate removal of thefrangible portion of the label or wrapper.

It will now be clear that We have provided a dispensing container lwhichwill accomplish the objects of theinvention hereinbefore'stated. It

A paper container having a spout formed in one side wall thereof and integral therewith 65 and movable to a pouring position, a flap forming a part of the top wall of said container and having a tab overlying said spout, a second fiap overlying said first flap and having a reinforcing tab .thereon which overlies said first mentioned 00 tab and `tends to urge the same downwardly 'toward said spout, and a wrapper enclosing said container and covering said spout and tabs and having a readily removable portion disposed over said spout, said first mentioned tab serving to 65 space the wrapper from said spout.

A dispensing container having a ioldable spout formed in one wall thereof and integral therewith and movable to a pouring position, a ap yoverlying said spout and having a tab portion which extendsbeyond the upper edge oi said spout when it is in non-pouring position and which is adapted to engage different portions o! said spout to hold it in either the pouring or the non-pouring position.

9. A dispensing container having a foldable spout fo'rmedin one wall thereof and integral therewith and movable to a pouring position, a flap overlying said spout and havinga tab portion which extends beyond the upper edge of said spout when it is in non-pouring position and which is adapted to engage diii'erent portions of said spout to hold it in either the pouring or the non-pouring position, and means urging said tab portion downwardly toward said spout.

A dispensing container having a foldable 5 said spout when it is in non-pouring position 10 and which is adapted to engage different portions i of said spout to hold it in either the pouring or the non-pouring position, said spout being dis' posed in a side wall of said container and said tab portionv being disposed in the adjacent top 15 wall thereof.
