Abstract
The present invention relates to a plastic jar (500) comprising of a liquid storage chamber (501) and the said liquid storage chamber comprising of a lower end (503) and an upper end (502), and an upper dispensing end (506) at one end of the chamber for introducing liquid to the chamber and removing liquid from the chamber. Further, the said lower end (503) of the liquid storage chamber (501) is structurally created or molded with a holding mechanism below the lower end of the said liquid storage chamber, and the said holding mechanism comprises of a plurality of hand/palm support deep curves (507, 508) which allows a user to carry the said plastic jar with a fine grip.
Description
- The present invention relates to a plastic container/jar/bottle for storage of liquids, which we may refer herein as object. More particularly, this present invention relates to a plastic jar/container/bottle or object with a provision of gripping and lifting the object. Because of this provision it is becomes very human friendly and therefore will be of great benefit to the ultimate user/consumer.
- Plastic jars are used for storing and delivery or storage of beverages/liquids. They are typically molded as a single piece of plastic, e.g., a polyester or polycarbonate, using conventional molding techniques. These plastic jars are typically blow molded or stretch blow molded.
- Further, evolution in the plastic/bottle industry took place in the late 90s and early 2000s and plastic jars with the handle or holding mechanism were invented in order to improve the gripping and holding of such jars.
- U.S. Pat. No. 6,910,596 B2 discloses a liquid storage bottle with a generally cylindrical liquid storage chamber and an integral handle. A well is formed in the liquid storage chamber to accommodate the handle. The walls of the well are configured to prevent water from pooling thereon, and to allow a cleaning fluid to reach all inside surfaces of the bottle. The handle is configured for ease of cleaning the bottle.
- However, as it can be seen from the above that in the aforesaid patented invention, the handle is provided only for the ease of cleaning the bottle. Although such handles may provide an improved gripping to carry the bottle but they increase the size of the object and make it more expensive. There is still there is a space for improvement.
- It is also important to mention that the plastic jars present in the market do not provide a mechanism/feature to lift the said plastic jar from the lower portion. So, if someone wants to lift the said plastic jar, he/she has to pick up and carry the aforesaid from the upper dispensing end (i.e. the neck section). It becomes difficult for children or ladies or a senior person to carry such weight and pick up the plastic jar from the upper dispensing end.
- Therefore, there is a need to have an improved version of such plastic jars wherein, a plurality of hand/palm support deep curves are structurally created or molded below the body portion of the such plastic jars to provide support to a user to carry the said plastic jar with a firm grip; thereby helping the user to lift the object with much less effort.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to disclose a plastic jar with a hand/palm support system to handle heavy weight objects for everyday human use.
- Another objective of the present invention is to disclose the plastic jar with a liquid storage chamber comprising of a lower end and an upper end.
- Yet another objective of the present invention is to disclose the plastic jar with an upper dispensing end at one end of the chamber for introducing liquid to the chamber and removing liquid from the chamber.
- Yet another objective of the present invention is to disclose the plastic jar wherein the said lower end of the liquid storage chamber is structurally created or molded with a holding mechanism below the lower end of the said liquid storage chamber.
- Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, the aspects of the present invention are disclosed.
- In accordance with the present invention, a plastic jar is disclosed, comprising of a liquid storage chamber and the said liquid storage chamber comprising of a lower end and an upper end, and an upper dispensing end at one end of the chamber for introducing liquid to the chamber and removing liquid from the chamber. Further, the said lower end of the liquid storage chamber is structurally created or molded with a holding mechanism below the lower end of the said liquid storage chamber, and the said holding mechanism comprises of a plurality of hand support deep curves which allows a user to carry the said plastic jar with a fine grip. In accordance with the present invention, a plurality of hand support deep curve herein refers to a palm support deep curves.
- Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, the aspects of the present invention are disclosed.
