Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a synthetic resin container, and more particularly, to a synthetic resin container having a gripping concave portion on the body portion for holding fingers when gripping the container.
Conventionally, a synthetic resin container formed by forming a bottomed tubular preform using a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene terephthalate, and then molding this preform into a bottle shape by biaxial stretch blow molding, It is used in a wide range of fields as a container containing various beverages, various seasonings and the like.
In addition, as such a synthetic resin container, a wide variety of containers are used according to the contents. For example, when the contents are tea-based beverages, mineral water, sports drinks, etc., the capacity is 2 A container having a relatively large capacity such as liter is often used.
However, when a container having a large capacity is filled with contents, the weight also increases according to the capacity of the contents, and a considerable force is required to lift the container. Therefore, when opening the container after opening the container and pouring the contents, if the force to grasp the container cannot be adjusted and excessive force is applied to the fingertip, the container will deform and the contents will blow out. It can be.
。 In order to avoid such a problem, in the case of a container having a relatively large capacity, generally, by providing a concave portion for grasping on the body of the container, when the container is grasped, the concave portion is hooked, and it is easy to lift. (For example, see Patent Document 1).
By the way, in the case of this type of container, it has been attempted to form the container as thinly as possible in order to reduce its weight and cost by reducing the amount of resin used. In recent years, the demand for such thinning has become more and more strict, but it is inevitable that the rigidity of the container decreases as the thinning progresses.
According to the study by the present inventors, in a container having a container body provided with a concave portion for gripping, when attempting to reduce the thickness of the container, when filling and sealing the content and supplying it to the market, for example, transportation and storage. When the internal pressure is increased due to the product pressure applied when the product is placed in the box-stacking state in the axial direction to increase the internal pressure, the concave portion is deformed so as to be inverted outward and cannot be returned to the original state. It has been found that there is a problem of ringing.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and suppresses buckling of the holding recess due to an increase in internal pressure in a state where the container body is provided with the holding recess and the contents are filled and sealed. An object of the present invention is to provide a synthetic resin container that can be manufactured.
A synthetic resin container according to the present invention includes a mouth portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion, the body portion having a collapsing portion between an upper body portion and a lower body portion, and the collapsing body. Each of the opposite side surfaces of the portion has a holding concave portion that is recessed inward of the container, and is defined by a groove portion that is formed in the collapsible portion along the circumferential direction. Has a pair of strip-shaped defining portions from the recess for the other to the gripping recess, each end of the strip-shaped defining portion defined by the groove is provided on the bottom surface of the gripping recess, It is configured such that they are spaced apart from each other and disposed in the gripping recess.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, in the container which provided the recessed part for grasping in the container body, it is possible to suppress the buckling of the recessed part for grasping due to the internal pressure rise in the state where the contents are filled and sealed.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 to 5 show an example of a thin-walled container having a relatively large capacity of about 28 g and a capacity of about 2 liters regarding the synthetic resin container according to the present embodiment. The synthetic resin container according to the present embodiment is preferably applied for NS filling and aseptic filling, but not limited to this.
The container 1 includes a mouth part 2, a shoulder part 3, a body part 4, and a bottom part 5. The container 1 shown in the figure has a body part 4 formed in a rectangular tube, and is generally called a rectangular bottle. It has a container shape.
In such a container 1, a bottomed tubular preform is molded by injection molding or compression molding using a thermoplastic resin, and this preform is molded into a predetermined container shape by biaxial stretching blow molding or the like. Manufactured by
In producing the container 1, as the thermoplastic resin used, any resin capable of blow molding can be used. Specifically, a thermoplastic polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate, amorphous polyarylate, polylactic acid or a copolymer thereof, a resin blended with these resins or another resin is preferable. Is. In particular, an ethylene terephthalate thermoplastic polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate is preferably used. Further, polycarbonate, acrylonitrile resin, polypropylene, propylene-ethylene copolymer, polyethylene and the like can also be used.
The mouth portion 2 is a cylindrical portion that serves as a spout for the contents, and a lid body (not shown) that seals the inside of the container is attached to the mouth portion 2. The lower end of the mouth portion 2 is connected to a shoulder portion 3 that expands the diameter toward the body portion 4 and connects the mouth portion 2 and the body portion 4. In the illustrated example, the shoulder portion 3 is It is formed in a truncated pyramid shape.
Further, the body portion 4 is a portion that occupies most of the height direction of the container 1, and the upper end is connected to the shoulder portion 3 and the lower end is connected to the bottom portion 5.
Here, the height direction means a direction perpendicular to the horizontal plane when the container 1 is erected on the horizontal plane with the mouth portion 2 facing upward, and in the state shown in FIG. The vertical and horizontal directions shall be specified.
In the present embodiment, the body portion 4 is formed in a rectangular tube shape having a rectangular cross-sectional shape in which the corner portion is chamfered. Then, the vicinity of the central portion in the height direction of the body portion 4 is a reduced body portion 4c in which the body circumference (the length along the circumferential direction) is contracted with respect to the upper body portion 4a and the lower body portion 4b. The body portion 4 has an upper body portion 4a, a lower body portion 4b, and a contracted portion 4c provided therebetween.
Further, each of the upper body portion 4a and the lower body portion 4b is provided with a plurality of circumferential grooves 12 which are recessed along the circumferential direction to improve the rigidity of the upper body portion 4a and the lower body portion 4b. ing. In the present embodiment, the upper body portion 4a and the lower body portion 4a are provided with five circumferential grooves 12 each having an appropriate width at approximately equal intervals. However, the width, the number, and the spacing of the circumferential grooves 12 are as illustrated. However, the embodiment is not limited thereto.
In the center in the width direction of the collapsible portion 4c appearing on the front side in FIG. 2 and a portion on the back side opposite to the central portion in the width direction, a holding concave portion 6 that is recessed inward of the container is provided. In this way, by providing the gripping recesses 6 in the facing portions of the collapsible portion 4c, it is possible to easily lift the container 1 by gripping the gripping recess 6 with the fingers when the container 1 is gripped. ..
Further, in the case of a container having a relatively large capacity, the waist circumference tends to be large. For this reason, when a user with a small hand grips the recessed portion 6 for gripping, the fingertip may not reach the recessed portion 6c for gripping. It is possible to easily hang a finger on the holding concave portion 6 when the user holds 1.
The width (length along the height direction) of the collapsible portion 4c is preferably about two fingers in consideration of the average size of a human hand. It is preferable to form the holding recess 6 in a rectangular shape in a range extending from one end to the other end in the width direction. By doing so, when the thumb is inserted into one of the holding recesses 6 and the index finger and the middle finger or the two fingers of the middle finger and the ring finger are inserted into the other holding recess 6 and the container 1 is held, The fingers for gripping the container 1 can be made to be along the collapsible portion 4c so that the container 1 can be gripped more easily.
In addition, the collapsible portion 4c is defined in a band shape by a groove portion 7 that is recessed along the circumferential direction, and a pair of left and right band-shaped definitions that extends from one holding concave portion 6 to the other holding concave portion 6 is formed. A section 8 is provided. By doing so, the rigidity of the collapsible portion 4c is improved, and the fingers for gripping the container 1 are put along the collapsible portion 4c, and when the container 1 is lifted by applying a force to the fingers, the collapsible portion 4c. Can be suppressed from being deformed. As a result, for example, when the container 1 is lifted and the contents are poured after opening the container, the container 1 is deformed and the contents are blown out from the mouth portion 2, or the contents poured out from the mouth portion 2 are pulsated. It is possible to effectively avoid such a problem that the contents overflow and the contents overflow around.
Each end of the band-shaped defining portion 8 extends to the inside of the holding concave portion 6, and each end of the band-shaped defining portion 8 extending inside the holding concave portion 6 is also formed by the groove portion 7. Well defined. Further, the ends are provided so as to face each other on the bottom surface of the holding recess 6. Then, the end portions are provided so as to be separated from each other and disposed in the holding concave portion 6. By doing so, the rigidity of the gripping recess 6 as well as the collapsible portion 4c can be improved. Therefore, when the container 1 is filled and sealed with the contents and supplied to the market, for example, during transportation and storage, It is possible to suppress buckling of the holding concave portion 6 due to an increase in internal pressure in a state where the contents are filled and sealed, such as when the internal pressure is increased by being compressed in the axial direction by the product pressure applied when the stacked state is achieved. it can.
In order to suppress the buckling of the grip concave portion 6, it is preferable that the end portion of the strip-shaped defining portion 8 is defined in an arc shape as shown in the drawing, but the invention is not limited to this.
In addition, in the present embodiment, the band-shaped defining portion 8 is provided in the collapsible member 4c to improve the rigidity of the collapsible member 4c. However, the band-shaped defining portion 8 is located at a position before reaching the holding concave portion 6. By providing the vertical groove 9 along the side edge of the holding recess 6, the rigidity of the collapsible portion 4c can be further improved. When such a vertical groove 9 is recessed in the belt-shaped defining portion 8, its position is to prevent deformation when the container 1 is gripped. It is desirable to provide it in the range from the end portion of the corner portion from the side surface of the body portion 4c to the front surface to the start portion of the holding concave portion 6 reaching the holding concave portion.
Further, on either one or both of the upper edge side and the lower edge side of the collapsible portion 4c, from the surface side where one gripping concave portion 6 is provided to the surface side where the other gripping concave portion 6 is provided. Moreover, it is preferable to provide the lateral lateral groove 10 which is provided so as to be spaced apart from any of the holding concave portions 6. By doing so, it is possible to more effectively suppress the deformation when the containers 1 are gripped, and it is possible to further improve the strength against the product pressure applied in the axial direction when the containers 1 are in the box-stacked state.
In providing the side lateral groove 10 as described above, both ends of the side lateral groove 10 reach the surface side where the holding recess 6 is provided and then the width direction inner side of the collapsible portion 4 (the height direction of the container 1). It is preferable that the vertical groove 9 is formed so as to be gently curved, and the vertical groove 9 recessed in the band-shaped defining portion 8 is located on the extension line.
Further, one or both of the side of the upper body 4a on the side of the contracted portion 4c and the side of the side of the lower body 4b on the side of the contracted portion 4c are recessed on an extension line of both side edges located on the left and right sides of the holding concave portion 6. It is preferable to provide a pair of vertical grooves 11 provided. Also by doing in this way, the deformation at the time of grasping the container 1 can be suppressed more effectively.
In providing such a pair of vertical grooves 11, the length thereof can be appropriately adjusted so that the deformation when the container 1 is gripped can be suppressed more effectively. It is preferable that the lengths are about the same.
Further, it is desirable that the vertical groove pair 11 is provided so as to straddle the circumferential grooves 12 and connect the upper and lower circumferential grooves 12 to each other.
Further, when the grip concave portion 6 is gripped with a finger, the vertical groove 13 may be provided on the body surface near the upper surface of the grip concave portion 6 to which the weight of the container is applied. Thereby, the rigidity of the container body can be improved.
