- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a zip fastened infant crib assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure of the net. -
FIG. 3 is an exploded view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a detail view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is a detail view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 6 is a detail view of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new infant crib device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 6 , the zip fastenedinfant crib assembly 10 generally comprises acrib 12. Thecrib 12 has a rectangular prism shape with a plurality ofsides 14. Each of thesides 14 has atop edge 16 and abottom edge 18. Thetop edge 16 and thebottom edge 18 of each of thesides 14 are positioned parallel to each other. Furthermore, thecrib 12 has abase 20. Thebase 20 has a plurality ofedges 22 with each of theedges 22 being coupled to a respective one of thebottom edge 18 of each of thesides 14. Thebase 20 is positioned perpendicular relative to the plurality ofsides 14 whereby providing anarea 24 of an infant to be positioned within thecrib 12. - A pair of
zippers 26 is positioned on the plurality ofsides 14, whereby enwrapping thecrib 12. The pair ofzippers 26 comprises atop zipper 28 and abottom zipper 30. Thetop zipper 28 of the pair ofzippers 26 is positioned proximate to thetop edge 16 of each of thesides 14. Thebottom zipper 30 of the pair ofzippers 26 is positioned proximate to thebottom edge 18 of each of thesides 14. Each of thezippers 26 is configured for interlocking a plurality ofteeth 32. The plurality ofteeth 32 is configured for being positioned on an edge and coupling to another edge by interlocking the plurality ofteeth 32 of each. Thetop edge 16 of each of thesides 14 has the plurality ofteeth 32. Additionally, thebottom edge 18 of each of thesides 14 has the plurality ofteeth 32. - A
net 34 has a plurality ofsurfaces 36 being positioned on a respective one of the plurality ofsides 14 of thecrib 12. Thenet 34 is amesh material 36, whereby themesh material 36 has a plurality of apertures configured for giving the net transparency features. The net 34 has atop edge 38 and abottom edge 40. Thetop edge 38 of thenet 34 has the plurality ofteeth 32. Likewise, thebottom edge 40 of thenet 34 also has the plurality ofteeth 32. Thetop edge 38 of thenet 34 is configured for engaging by thetop zipper 28 to thetop edge 16 of the plurality ofsides 14 of thecrib 12. Furthermore, thebottom edge 40 of thenet 34 is configured for engaging by thebottom zipper 30 to thebottom edge 18 of the plurality ofsides 14 of thecrib 12. - In use, the
net 34 can be secured to thecrib 12 by using the pair ofzippers 26 of thecrib 12. When thenet 34 is positioned on thecrib 12, the infant can be positioned within thearea 24 of thecrib 12. The infant can be seen through themesh material 36 of thenet 34. Furthermore, anopen top 42 of thecrib 12 allows for a person to see the infant as well. When the net 34 needs to be removed from thecrib 12, the user unzips each of thezippers 26. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
