Abstract
A pressing toy made of silicone is disclosed, including a first hollow housing and a second hollow housing that can be assembled into a housing body. The inner cavity of the first hollow housing and the inner cavity of the second hollow housing are assembled to form an inflatable chamber. The outer peripheral wall of the housing body is provided with a number of elastic protrusions that protrude outward. The elastic protrusions are of a hollow structure, and the inner cavity of each of the elastic protruding protrusions is communicated with the inflatable chamber. By pressing the housing body, some of the elastic protrusions are raised, or some elastic protrusions can be pressed so that some other elastic protrusions are raised, thereby creating a visual feedback of the deformation caused by the pressing action.
Description
- This application claims the priority of the following application: a Chinese patent application number 202122488420.7 filed on Oct. 15, 2021, the entire contents of the above patent application are incorporated herein by reference.
- This disclosure relates to the field of toys, and more particularly relates to a pressing toy.
- Toy balls in the related art are usually used to slap, kick, or throw, but for young users such as young children, the above-mentioned exercises with higher intensity are not suitable. Most of the existing children's toys of the pressing type are made of plastic or rubber materials, which are not environmentally friendly, and have poor pressing feel and touch. Especially when they are shipped out of warehouse, they may emit a peculiar smell, which leads to a poor impression by users when they receive the goods. In addition, the existing pressing toys are less interesting and cannot attract children's attention for long durations.
- In view of the above problems, it is an objective of this disclosure to provide a pressing toy, which is environmentally friendly and pollution-free, has little peculiar smell, has a good pressing feel and touch, and is highly interesting.
- To achieve the above object, this disclosure adopts the following technical solutions.
- There is provided a pressing toy made of silicone material. The pressing toy includes a first hollow housing and a second hollow housing that can be assembled into a housing body, and the inner cavity of the first hollow housing and the inner cavity of the second housing are assembled to form an inflatable chamber. The outer peripheral wall of the housing body is provided with a plurality of elastic protrusions protruding outward, the elastic protrusions are each of a hollow structure, and the inner cavity of each of the elastic protrusions is communicated with the inflatable chamber.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the outer peripheral wall of the housing body is provided with a vent hole communicating with the inflatable chamber.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the vent hole is provided in the elastic protrusion.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the vent hole is a round hole, and the diameter of the vent hole is greater than or equal to 0.5 mm.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the wall thickness of each of the elastic protrusions is smaller than the wall thickness of the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body where the elastic protrusions are not provided.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the wall thickness of each of the elastic protrusions is greater than or equal to 0.7 mm.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body not provided with the elastic protrusions have a wall thickness greater than or equal to 1.5 mm.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the inner peripheral wall of the housing body is recessed outward to define a transition groove disposed the elastic protrusion, and the transition groove communicates with the inner cavity of the elastic protrusion.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the thickness of the transition groove is less than or equal to the wall thickness of the elastic protrusion.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the width of the transition groove is greater than or equal to 0.8 mm.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the hardness of the elastic protrusion is less than the hardness of the portions of outer peripheral wall of the housing body that are not provided with the elastic protrusions.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the first hollow housing and the second hollow housing are bonded into one body.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, of the first hollow housing and the second hollow housing, one is provided with a positioning groove, and the other is provided with a positioning protrusion that cooperates with the positioning groove, and at least two mating surfaces of the positioning protrusion and the positioning groove are bonding surfaces.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the total width of the bonding surfaces is greater than the wall thickness of the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body where the elastic protrusion is not provided.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the bonding surface is provided with an anti-overflow glue slot, and the anti-overflow glue groove is defined in the groove wall of the positioning groove and/or the positioning protrusion.
- As an optional solution of the pressing toy of the present disclosure, the housing body is a polyhedron, a sphere-like body, or an ellipsoid.
- This disclosure may provide the following beneficial effects.
- The pressing toy provided by this disclosure is made of silica gel, which is green and environmentally friendly, has no pollution, has little peculiar smell, has good pressing and touch feel, and is convenient to handle and play. The pressing toy includes a first hollow housing and a second hollow housing that can be assembled into a housing body. The assembling method can reduce the requirements on the processing techniques, thereby reducing the processing cost. The inner cavity of the first hollow housing and the inner cavity of the second hollow housing are assembled to form an inflatable chamber. The outer peripheral wall of the housing body is provided with a number of elastic protrusions protruding outwards, where the elastic protrusions are of a hollow structure, and the inner cavity of the elastic protrusions communicates with the inflatable chamber. By pressing the housing body, some elastic protrusions are raised, or some elastic protrusions can be pressed so that some other elastic protrusions are raised, creating a visual feedback of deformation caused by the pressing action, which is interesting and enhances the attractiveness to young children, and at the same time, there is no safety hazard.
- For a clearer understanding of the technical solutions that are used in the embodiments according to the present disclosure, hereinafter the drawings that are required for the description of the embodiments disclosed herein will be briefly introduced. Apparently, the drawings in the following description merely represent some embodiments of the present disclosure, and for those having ordinary skill in the art, other drawings may also be obtained based on the contents of this disclosure and these drawings without investing creative efforts.

- For a better understanding of the technical problems to be solved, technical solutions adopted, and technical effects achieved by the present disclosure, hereinafter technical solutions in the embodiments according to the present disclosure will be described further and in greater detail in connection with the accompanying drawings. Apparently, the embodiments described herein are only a part, rather than all of the embodiments in accordance with the present disclosure. Based on the embodiments of the present disclosure, all other embodiments obtained by those having skill in the art without investing creative efforts shall all fall in the scope of protection of the present disclosure.
- As used herein, terms “center”, “up”, “down”, “left”, “right”, “vertical”, “horizontal”, “inside”, “outside”, or the like are used to indicate orientational or relative positional relationships based on those illustrated in the drawings. They are merely intended for simplifying the description of the present disclosure, rather than indicating or implying that the device or element referred to must have a particular orientation or be constructed and operate in a particular orientation. Therefore, these terms are not to be construed as restricting the present disclosure. In addition, terms “first”, “second”, or the like are merely used for purposes of description, and are to be understood as indicating or implying relative importance. The terms “first position” and “second position” indicate two different positions.
- Furthermore, as used herein, terms “installed on”, “mounted on”, “connected to”, “coupled to”, “connected with”, and “coupled with” should be understood in a broad sense unless otherwise specified and defined. For example, they may indicate a fixed connection, or a detachable connection. They may denote a mechanical connection, or an electrical connection. They may denote a direct connection, a connection through an intermediate, or an internal connection between two elements. For those of ordinary skill in the art, the specific meanings of the above terms as used in the present disclosure can be understood depending on specific contexts.
- As illustrated in
FIGS. 1 to 4 , this embodiment provides a pressing toy, which is made of silicone material, is environmentally friendly, has no pollution, has little peculiar smell, has a good pressing feel and touch, and is convenient to handle and play. The press toy includes a firsthollow housing 11 and a secondhollow housing 12 that can be assembled into a housing body 1. Since it is difficult to mold out the silicone material as a whole piece by thermoplastic, and the production cost is high, the pressing toy uses the assembling method thus reducing the requirements on the processing techniques, and reducing the processing cost. - The inner cavity of the first
hollow housing 11 and the inner cavity of the secondhollow housing 12 are assembled to form an inflatable chamber. The outer peripheral wall of the housing body 1 is provided with a plurality ofelastic protrusions 101 that protrude outward, where the plurality ofelastic protrusions 101 can be evenly distributed, or can be distributed according to certain game rules, which are not limited herein. - The
elastic protrusion 101 is a hollow structure, and the inner cavity of theelastic protrusion 101 communicates with the inflatable chamber. By pressing the housing body 1, someelastic protrusions 101 are raised, or by pressing some of theelastic protrusions 101, some otherelastic protrusions 101 are raised, creating a visual feedback of the deformation caused by the pressing action, which is highly interesting, and enhances the appeal to young children, and there is no safety hazard at the same time. It can be understood that theelastic protrusions 101 may be provided on the firsthollow housing 11 and/or the secondhollow housing 12, which is not limited here. Furthermore, theelastic protrusion 101 can be repeatedly pressed, and has a certain delay when it returns to its original state after elastic deformation. In accordance with the corresponding game rules, it can increase the fun of playing and the interaction between family members and children. - Optionally, a
vent 102 communicating with the inflatable chamber is provided in the outer peripheral wall of the housing body 1. When playing, after the pressing toy is pressed, part of the air in the inflatable chamber is discharged through the vent hole 102 (this is the process of air leakage). When theelastic protrusion 101 returns to its original shape after being elastically deformed, the outside air flows into the inflatable chamber through the vent hole 102 (this is the air return process), so that the entire pressing toy is restored to its original shape. - In order to maintain a relatively moderate air leakage speed and air return speed, optionally, the
vent hole 102 is provided in theelastic protrusion 101. In this embodiment, only oneelastic protrusion 101 is provided with avent hole 102, which can reduce the processing cost and improve the pressing feel. Of course, in other embodiments, multiple vent holes 102 may be provided, or they may be distributed on differentelastic protrusions 101, which is not limited herein. - In order to facilitate batch processing, the
vent hole 102 may be a round hole, and the diameter of thevent hole 102 is greater than or equal to 0.5 mm, so as to ensure that thevent hole 102 has sufficient air leakage speed and air return speed. - In order to facilitate the elastic deformation of the
elastic protrusion 101, optionally, the wall thickness of theelastic protrusion 101 is smaller than the wall thickness of the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body 1 where theelastic protrusion 101 is not provided. - In order to balance the elastic deformation performance and pressing feel of the
elastic protrusion 101, optionally, the wall thickness of theelastic protrusion 101 is greater than or equal to 0.7 mm. In this case, the elastic deformation performance of theelastic protrusion 101 is sufficient to produce elastic deformation and return to the original shape in a short time, and can also maintain a better pressing feel and improve the player's playing experience. - In order to improve the service life of the pressing toy, optionally, the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body 1 without the
elastic protrusion 101 have a wall thickness greater than or equal to 1.5 mm. Meanwhile, the pressing toy has a certain weight and has a relatively high texture when held by hand. - Optionally, the inner peripheral wall of the housing body 1 is recessed outward to define a
transition groove 103 that protrudes outward, where thetransition groove 103 is arranged around theelastic protrusion 101, and thetransition groove 103 is in communication with the inner cavity of theelastic protrusion 101. Theelastic protrusion 101 may be a hollow hemispherical shape, thetransition groove 103 may be an annular shape, and thetransition groove 103 serves as a transitional step between theelastic protrusion 101 and the portion of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body 1 where theelastic protrusion 101 is not provided. Such a structure makes theelastic protrusion 101 easier to elastically deform. - Optionally, the thickness of the
transition groove 103 is less than or equal to the wall thickness of theelastic protrusion 101, so as to avoid the situation where the wall thickness of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body 1 at thetransition groove 103 is too thin and easy to crack, which would otherwise adversely affect the product quality and service life and the pressing toy. Optionally, the width of thetransition groove 103 is greater than or equal to 0.8 mm, so that thetransition groove 103 can provide a sufficient transition effect, thereby reducing the difficulty of elastic deformation of theelastic protrusion 101 and improving the pressing feel of the pressing toy. In addition, since thetransition groove 103 is arranged inside the pressing toy, the appearance of the pressing toy will not be affected. - In order to further reduce the difficulty of elastic deformation of the
elastic protrusion 101, optionally, the hardness of theelastic protrusion 101 is less than the hardness of the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body 1 that are not provided with theelastic protrusions 101, and at the same time, the feel of pressing theelastic protrusion 101 will also become better. - In order to reduce the processing cost and improve the processing efficiency, the first
hollow housing 11 and the secondhollow housing 12 may be bonded as a whole. - In order to improve the assembly efficiency, optionally, one of the first
hollow housing 11 and the secondhollow housing 12 is provided with apositioning groove 104, and the other is provided with apositioning protrusion 105 that cooperates with thepositioning groove 104, and at least two mating surfaces of thepositioning protrusion 105 and thepositioning groove 104 are bondingsurfaces 106. In this embodiment, thepositioning protrusion 105 is disposed on the firsthollow housing 11, thepositioning groove 104 is provided in the secondhollow housing 12, and the opening end surface of the secondhollow housing 12 may be provided with a retainingring 108. The opening end surface of the secondhollow housing 12 forms apositioning groove 104, and the retainingring 108 abuts against thepositioning protrusion 105. Of course, in other embodiments, thepositioning groove 104 can also be formed in other structural forms, which are not limited herein. In addition, the cooperation of thepositioning protrusion 105 and thepositioning groove 104 can also serve the function of preventing air leakage at the bonding site. - In order to improve the bonding strength of the first
hollow housing 11 and the secondhollow housing 12, optionally, the total width of the bonding surfaces 106 is greater than the thickness of the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body 1 not provided with theelastic protrusions 101. - In order to prevent the adhesive from overflowing during bonding and affecting the appearance, optionally, the bonding surfaces 106 are provided with an
anti-overflow glue slot 107, which is defined in the groove wall of thepositioning groove 104 and/or thepositioning protrusion 105. In this embodiment, theanti-overflow glue groove 107 is defined in thepositioning protrusion 105. During bonding, the firsthollow housing 11 and the secondhollow housing 12 squeeze the excess glue into theanti-overflow glue slot 107 to prevent the glue overflow from affecting the appearance, and also reduce the emanation of the odor of the overflowing glue. - To meet the preferences of different players, the housing body 1 may be a polyhedron, a sphere-like body or an ellipsoid. It can be understood that the
elastic protrusion 101 may also be a polyhedron, a sphere-like body or an ellipsoid. - Note that the above only portrays some illustrative embodiments of the present disclosure and the applied technical principles. Those skilled in the art will understand that the present disclosure will not be limited to the specific embodiments herein, and various obvious changes, readjustments and substitutions can be made without departing from the scope of protection of the present disclosure. Therefore, although the present disclosure has been described in more detail through the above embodiments, the present disclosure is not limited to the above embodiments, and can also include more other equivalent embodiments without departing from the concept of the present disclosure. The scope of the present invention is determined by the scope of the appended claims.
Claims (16)
1. A pressing toy, made of silicone material, comprising a first hollow housing and a second hollow housing that are operative to assembled into a housing body, wherein an inner cavity of the first hollow housing and an inner cavity of the second hollow housing are operative to be assembled to form an inflatable chamber, wherein a plurality of elastic protrusions that protrude outward are disposed on an outer peripheral wall of the housing body, wherein the plurality of elastic protrusions are each of a hollow structure, and an inner cavity of each of the plurality of elastic protrusions is in communication with the inflatable chamber.
2. The pressing toy as recited in claim 1 , a vent hole is defined in the outer peripheral wall of the housing body and is in communication with the inflatable chamber.
3. The pressing toy as recited in claim 2 , wherein the vent hole is defined in a corresponding elastic protrusion.
4. The pressing toy as recited in claim 2 , wherein the vent hole is a round hole, and has a diameter that is greater than or equal to 0.5 mm.
5. The pressing toy as recited in claim 1 , wherein a wall thickness of each of the plurality of elastic protrusions is smaller than a wall thickness of the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body that are not provided with the elastic protrusions.
6. The pressing toy as recited in claim 5 , wherein the wall thickness of each of the plurality of the elastic protrusions is greater than or equal to 0.7 mm.
7. The pressing toy as recited in claim 5 , wherein the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body not provided with the elastic protrusions have a wall thickness greater than or equal to 1.5 mm.
8. The pressing toy as recited in claim 1 , wherein the inner peripheral wall of the housing body is recessed outward to define a transition groove, which surrounds the respective elastic protrusion and is in communication with the inner cavity of the respective elastic protrusion.
9. The pressing toy as recited in claim 8 , wherein a thickness of the transition groove is less than or equal to the wall thickness of the respective elastic protrusion.
10. The pressing toy as recited in claim 8 , wherein a width of the transition groove is greater than or equal to 0.8 mm.
11. The pressing toy as recited in claim 1 , wherein a hardness of each of the plurality of elastic protrusions is less than that of the portions of the outer peripheral wall of the housing body that are not provided with the elastic protrusions.
12. The pressing toy as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first hollow housing and the second hollow housing are bonded as a whole.
13. The pressing toy as recited in claim 12 , wherein one of the first hollow housing and the second hollow housing comprises a positioning groove, and the other comprises a positioning protrusion that cooperates with the positioning groove, and wherein at least two mating surfaces of the positioning protrusion and the positioning groove are set as bonding surfaces.
14. The pressing toy as recited in claim 13 , wherein a total width of the bonding surfaces is greater than the wall thickness of the portions of outer peripheral wall of the housing body that are not provided with the elastic protrusions.
15. The pressing toy as recited in claim 13 , wherein the bonding surfaces comprise an anti-overflow glue slot, which is defined in a groove wall of the positioning groove and/or in the positioning protrusion.
16. The pressing toy as recited in claim 1 , wherein the housing body is a polyhedron, a sphere-like body, or an ellipsoid.
