Description
- The present invention relates to innovation of resistance training bands, and more particularly to a training band that possesses excellent characteristics of firmness of connecting, allowing easy disconnecting by a user and also exhibiting powerful resisting.
- Resistance training bands that are commonly available in the market for looping around a user's body are generally made of a band body and a hook-and-loop fastener. The band body of such a kind of resistance training bands is generally elastic, and a hook part and a loop part of the hook-and-loop fastener are respectively mounted to two ends of the band body. As such, a user may wrap the band body around the body and secured with the hook-and-loop fastener, in order to perform training or do exercise, or to carry out resistance training by connection with assisting equipment.
- However, connecting or bonding with the hook-and-loop fastener, of which each part is arranged in a one-sided form is not strong enough to support high intensity exercise training and consequently, the hook-and-loop fastener may get disintegrated and separated or even broken. This may in turn cause injury to a user during the course of exercise or training.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to overcome and improve the above-discussed shortcomings of the prior art by making use of a combination of a first coupling unit and a second coupling unit to enable fast wearing by a user and to provide an excellent property of firm connecting, allowing an elastic unit to exhibit powerful resistance and easing disconnecting by a user after exercise training.
- To achieve the above objective, the provides a resistance training band, which comprises: an elastic unit, a first coupling unit, and a second coupling unit. The first coupling unit is arranged at one end of the elastic unit. The first coupling unit comprises a pinch section. The second coupling unit is arranged at an opposite end of the elastic unit. The second coupling unit is connectable with the pinch section of the first coupling unit in a detachable and removable manner.
- In an embodiment of the resistance training band, the elastic unit comprises one of an elastic fabric, an elastic band, and an elastic rope.
- In an embodiment of the resistance training band, the pinch section has two inner sides that are respectively provided with hooked surfaces facing each other and the second coupling unit has two outer sides that are respectively provided with looped surfaces facing away from each other, such that the hooked surfaces of the pinch section of the first coupling unit are respectively connectable with, and thus pinched between, the looped surfaces of the second coupling unit in a detachable manner.
- In an embodiment of the resistance training band, the pinch section has two inner sides that are respectively provided with looped surfaces facing each other and the second coupling unit has two outer sides that are respectively provided with hooked surfaces facing away from each other, such that the looped surfaces of the pinch section of the first coupling unit are respectively connectable with, and thus pinched between, the hooked surfaces of the second coupling unit in a detachable manner.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a structure of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is a schematic view illustrating a condition of use of the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is another schematic view illustrating a condition of use of the present invention. - Referring to
FIGS. 1-3 , which are respectively a perspective view showing a structure of the present invention and schematic view illustrating a condition of use of the present invention, as shown in the drawings, the present invention provides a resistance training band. The resistance training structure is made up of at least anelastic unit 1, afirst coupling unit 2, and asecond coupling unit 3. - The
first coupling unit 2 is mounted to one end of theelastic unit 1. Thefirst coupling unit 2 comprises apinch section 21. - The
second coupling unit 3 is mounted to an opposite end of theelastic unit 1. Thesecond coupling unit 3 is connectable to thepinch section 21 of thefirst coupling unit 2 in a detachable manner. - Thus, a user, when attempting to do exercise or training, may wrap the
elastic unit 1 around his or her body through pulling of the elastic unit. - With the
elastic unit 1 so wrapped around the body, thefirst coupling unit 2 may use thepinch section 21 to pinch and fix thesecond coupling unit 3, so as to connect with thesecond coupling unit 3 through pinching realized with thepinch section 21. This would secure theelastic unit 1 around the body and resist disintegration and separation when subjected to strong pulling. As such, the user may make use of the collaborative combination of thefirst coupling unit 2 and thesecond coupling unit 3 to achieve fast wearing and ensure excellent property of firm connection, allowing theelastic unit 1 to demonstrate powerful resistance. - To remove from the body, the
pinch section 21 is separated and thesecond coupling unit 3 is removed from thepinch section 21. This enables easy removal and detachment after exercise training and also helps prevent injury caused by undesired detachment of the connection. - In an embodiment of the present invention, the
elastic unit 1 can be an elastic fabric, an elastic band, or an elastic rope. In this way, powerful resistance can be exhibited according to requirement for actual exercise or training. - In an embodiment of the present invention, the
pinch section 21 has two inner sides, which are provided with hooked surfaces 211 (or looped surface) facing each other, while thesecond coupling unit 3 has two outer sides, which are provided with looped surfaces 31 (or hooked surfaces) facing away from each other, so that the hookedsurfaces 211 of thepinch section 21 of thefirst coupling unit 2 may connect with the loopedsurfaces 31 of thesecond coupling unit 3 in a detachable or removable manner. - As such, the
first coupling unit 2 makes use of each hookedsurface 211 of thepinch section 21 to pinch and connect with each loopedsurface 31 of thesecond coupling unit 3, allowing thepinch section 21 to use each of the hookedsurfaces 211 on the two inner sides thereof to pinch and connect with each of the loopedsurfaces 31 on the two outer sides of thesecond coupling unit 3, and thus preventing theelastic unit 1 from easily disintegrating and separating when it is wrapped around a human body. As such, the user may make use of the collaborative combination of thefirst coupling unit 2 and thesecond coupling unit 3 to achieve fast wearing and ensure excellent property of firm connection, allowing theelastic unit 1 to demonstrate powerful resistance. - On the other hand, the user, when attempting to remove the band from his or her body, separates and detach the
pinch section 21 to allow one of the hookedsurfaces 211 of thepinch section 21 to disengage from one of the loopedsurfaces 31 and then, the other one of the loopedsurfaces 31 of thesecond coupling unit 3 is disengaged from the other one of the hookedsurfaces 211 of thepinch section 21. This allows for easy detachment and removal after exercise training and helps prevent injury caused by undesired separation and detachment of the connection. - In summary, the present invention provides a resistance training band, which could effectively and significantly improve the commonly known shortcomings of the prior art and allows a user to fast wearing through the collaborative combination between the first coupling unit and the second coupling unit. Further, with the characteristics of firm connecting, the elastic unit is allowed to exhibit powerful resisting. Further, detachment and removal can be easily done by the user after exercise training. All these make the invention practical and suit general needs.
