Description

    BACKGROUND 1. Field
  • The present general inventive concept relates generally to a chair, and particularly, to a thermal regulating chair.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Modern day beach and/or outdoor chairs are susceptible to temperature changes depending on weather conditions. For example, a beach chair left outside is often exposed to an external light source (e.g., the Sun), causing the beach chair to get hot after several hours. As a result, the beach chair will be uncomfortable for any user. Conversely, leaving the beach chair outside in evenings may cause the beach chair to be too cold.
  • However, the beach chair and/or the outdoor chair have no means to regulate temperature. Thus, the beach chair and/or the outdoor chair is at the mercy of the elements.
  • Therefore, there is a need for a chair that has a means to regulate temperature based on a preference of the user.
  • SUMMARY
  • The present general inventive concept provides a thermal regulating chair.
  • Additional features and utilities of the present general inventive concept will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the general inventive concept.
  • The foregoing and/or other features and utilities of the present general inventive concept may be achieved by providing a thermal regulating chair, including a main body, including a seat portion to receive a user thereon, and a back portion movably disposed on at least a portion of the seat portion, a first thermal regulating assembly disposed within at least a portion of the seat portion to adjust a temperature level of the seat portion, and a second thermal regulating assembly disposed within at least a portion of the back portion to adjust a temperature level of the back portion.
  • The first thermal regulating assembly and the second thermal regulating assembly each may store at least one thermal pack therein.
  • The first thermal regulating assembly and the second thermal regulating assembly each may include a refrigeration system to adjust the temperature level.
  • The first thermal regulating assembly and the second thermal regulating assembly each may include a plurality of pipes using water to adjust the temperature level.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • These and/or other features and utilities of the present generally inventive concept will become apparent and more readily appreciated from the following description of the embodiments, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings of which:
  • FIG. 1 illustrates a front perspective view of a thermal regulating chair, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present general inventive concept.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Various example embodiments (a.k.a., exemplary embodiments) will now be described more fully with reference to the accompanying drawings in which some example embodiments are illustrated. In the figures, the thicknesses of lines, layers and/or regions may be exaggerated for clarity.
  • Accordingly, while example embodiments are capable of various modifications and alternative forms, embodiments thereof are shown by way of example in the figures and will herein be described in detail. It should be understood, however, that there is no intent to limit example embodiments to the particular forms disclosed, but on the contrary, example embodiments are to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the scope of the disclosure. Like numbers refer to like/similar elements throughout the detailed description.
  • It is understood that when an element is referred to as being “connected” or “coupled” to another element, it can be directly connected or coupled to the other element or intervening elements may be present. In contrast, when an element is referred to as being “directly connected” or “directly coupled” to another element, there are no intervening elements present. Other words used to describe the relationship between elements should be interpreted in a like fashion (e.g., “between” versus “directly between,” “adjacent” versus “directly adjacent,” etc.).
  • The terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of example embodiments. As used herein, the singular forms “a,” “an” and “the” are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. It will be further understood that the terms “comprises,” “comprising,” “includes” and/or “including,” when used herein, specify the presence of stated features, integers, steps, operations, elements and/or components, but do not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, integers, steps, operations, elements, components and/or groups thereof.
  • Unless otherwise defined, all terms (including technical and scientific terms) used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which example embodiments belong. It will be further understood that terms, e.g., those defined in commonly used dictionaries, should be interpreted as having a meaning that is consistent with their meaning in the context of the relevant art. However, should the present disclosure give a specific meaning to a term deviating from a meaning commonly understood by one of ordinary skill, this meaning is to be taken into account in the specific context this definition is given herein.

  • The second regulating body 131 may include a temperature insulated material (e.g., thermal fabrics, polyester, aluminum), but is not limited thereto.
  • Referring again to FIG. 1, the second regulating body 131 is illustrated to have a size (i.e. length and width) less than a size of the back portion 112. However, the second regulating body 131 may have the same size of the back portion 112 to provide better cooling and/or heating of the back portion 112 than a smaller size of the second regulating body 131.
  • The second regulating body 131 may be detachably connected to at least a portion of the back portion 112, such as a latch, a rope, a wire, a magnet, and/or an adhesive. Moreover, the second regulating body 131 may store another at least one thermal pack 10 (i.e. a hot pack, a cold pack) therein. As such, the second regulating body 131 may increase and/or decrease a temperature level of the back portion 112 in response to receiving the another at least one thermal pack 10. In other words, the second regulating body 131 may adjust the temperature level of the back portion 112 based on a preference of the user.
  • The second aperture 132 may be disposed on at least a portion of the second regulating body 131. The second aperture 132 may be closed in a first position and opened in a second position. As such, the second aperture 132 may prevent access within the second regulating body 131 in the first position and allow access within the second regulating body 131 in the second position. As such, the second regulating body 131 may receive the another at least one thermal pack 10 through the second aperture 132.
  • Alternatively, the second thermal regulating assembly 130 may be any type of refrigeration system known to one of ordinary skill in the art, which may include a condenser, a fan, a coolant/refrigerant, a coil system, etc. As such, the second thermal regulating assembly 130 may inject cold air within the back portion 112. Furthermore, the second thermal regulating assembly 130 may use a pump and a plurality of pipes that store water to transfer heat and/or provide heat to the back portion 112 by moving water through the back portion 112 with the pump.
  • Therefore, the thermal regulating chair 100 may regulate the temperature level thereof. As such, the thermal regulating chair 100 may provide enhanced comfort to the user.
  • The present general inventive concept may include a thermal regulating chair 100, including a main body 110, including a seat portion 111 to receive a user thereon, and a back portion 112 movably disposed on at least a portion of the seat portion 111, a first thermal regulating assembly 120 disposed within at least a portion of the seat portion 111 to adjust a temperature level of the seat portion 111, and a second thermal regulating assembly 130 disposed within at least a portion of the back portion 112 to adjust a temperature level of the back portion 112.
