Abstract
Description
- The present application claims the benefit of China Patent Application No. 202120106313.0, entitled “Multifunctional Exercise Apparatus”, filed on Jan. 15, 2021, in the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the entire content of which is incorporated herein in its entirety.
- The subject matter herein relates to a technical filed of exercise apparatus, especially to a multifunctional exercise apparatus.
- The pace of life in modern cities is tight, especially for some office workers, who often sit in front of the computer and work all day. Rare exercise cause them poor physical fitness. People sitting for a long time or standing for a long time may have strain of lumbar, feel pain, and what worst to a series of common occupational diseases such as waist and leg soreness, limb weakness, etc. Those office workers who work in low positions for a long time suffer more to the conditions. Because of this, people tend to exercise, keep fit and stretch their muscles and bones after a day of work. On the market, there is a push-up exercise apparatus that allows people to do push-ups at home. The market available push-up exercise apparatus includes a support board, which has a plurality of jacks, and a grip rod for push-ups is inserted into the jack. When the user is exercising, the user inserts the grip rod into the jack at different angles according to the body part to be exercised, and then performs the exercise. Although it can meet the needs of users, users need to pull out the grip rod and insert it into the support board at different angles when exercise of different body parts is expected. Although users can do exercise in this manner, there is no way for the users to exercise their expected body parts quickly. Furthermore, the operation of the market available exercise apparatus is complicated and time-wasting, which makes the user's exercise less effective.
- In view of above, one object of the present disclosure is to provide a multifunctional exercise apparatus that has is simple and convenience.
- Amis at the object, the present disclosure provides a multifunctional exercise apparatus comprising a support board; the support board is crisscrossed with a plurality of grip rods.
- In some embodiments, the multifunctional exercise apparatus further comprises a plurality of support rods; one end of the support rod is provided on the support board, and the grip rod is provided on the other end of the support rod.
- In some embodiments, the support rods comprise a first support rod, a second support rod and a third support rod; the grip rods comprise a first grip rod and a second grip rod; the first support rod, the second support rod and the third support rod are provided on the support board; the first support rod and the second support rod are connected via the first grip rod; the third support rod is connected to the first support rod and the second support rod via the second grip rod, respectively.
- In some embodiments, the support rods further comprise a fourth support rod; the fourth support rod is provided on the support board and located on the other end of the third support rod; the grip rods further comprise a third grip rod; the fourth support rod is connected to the first support rod and the second support rod via the third grip rod, respectively.
- In some embodiments, the third support rod and the fourth support rod are located at both ends of the first grip rod symmetrically.
- In some embodiments, the support rods further comprise a fifth support rod and a sixth support rod; the grip rods further comprise a fourth grip rod and a fifth grip rod; the fifth support rod and the sixth support rod are provided on the support board; the fifth support board is connected to the first support rod via the fourth grip rod; the sixth support rod is connected to the first support rod and the fifth support rod via the fifth grip rod, respectively.
- In some embodiments, the support rods comprise a seventh support rod; the seventh support rod is provided on the support board the grip rods comprise a sixth grip rod; the seventh support rod is connected to the first support rod and the seventh rod via the sixth grip rod, respectively.
- In some embodiments, the sixth support rod and the seventh support rod are located at both ends of the fourth grip rod symmetrically.
- In some embodiments, the first support rod is arranged on a middle of the support part; the second support rod and the fifth support rod are provided on both ends of the first support rod, respectively; the first support rod, the second support rod and the fifth support rod are located on the same straight line.
- In some embodiments, through holes are provided on the support board for receiving the support rods; the support rod is inserted into the through hole, and a limiting device is provided on the support board to restrict the support rod from passing through the through hole.
- In some embodiments, the limiting device is a limiting step arranged anchored within the through hole; the limiting step is capable of abutting against the support rod.
- In some embodiments, the multifunctional exercise apparatus further comprises a crossbar; an elastic member is connected to the crossbar; the elastic member is provided on the support rod via a connecting device.
- In some embodiments, the connecting device comprises a plurality of connecting ears; the plurality of ears are anchored on the plurality of support rods and are provided on both sides of the support board, respectively; the plurality of connecting ears are connected to the elastic member via a connection buckle.
- In some embodiments, the support rod is provided with a through passage which passes through the support rod; each of both ends of the grip rod is covered with a sealing cover for sealing the support rod.
- In some embodiments, the sealing cover is provided with a first skidproof stripe.
- In some embodiments, a connecting block is tightly fitted over the support rod; both ends of the grip rod are fitted into the connecting block and anchored to the support rod.
- In some embodiments, load-shedding grooves that are communicated with each other are provided between the grip rods.
- In some embodiments, an exercise handle is fitted over the crossbar; a skidproof device is provided on the crossbar for preventing the exercise handle apart.
- In some embodiments, the skidproof device is a claw provided on the exercise handle; the claw is clamped on inner wall of the load-shedding groove and is abutted against the inner wall.
- In some embodiments, the support board is provided with a second skidproof stripe.
- In some embodiments, an end of the support board is provided with a relief groove.
- In some embodiments, the support board comprises a first support board and a second board; the first support board and the second support board are arranged symmetrically; a first anchor device is arranged between the first support board and the second support board.
- In some embodiments, the first anchor device comprises a plurality of pull rods; both ends of the pull rod is anchored with a clamping block; the clamping blocks are clamped on the support rod of the first support board and the support rod of the second support board, respectively.
- In some embodiments, the support rod of the first support board and the support rod of the second support board are respectively provided with a relief opening.
- In some embodiments, a second anchor device is arranged between the first support board and the second support board.
- In some embodiments, the second anchor device is a plurality of limiting blocks secured on the second support rod; a plurality of limiting openings, which are capable of clamping with the limiting blocks, are arranged on the first support rod.
- The present disclosure at least has the following advantages and benefits.
- 1. Simple structure and convenient for use. The crisscrossed grip rods on the exercise apparatus allow users to exercise their expecting muscle when they are doing push-ups. Users are able to exercise different muscle part by gripping the grip rods formed in different angels. There is no need to adjust the angle of the grip rods, and accordingly reduce the operation procedures. Users' experience during exercise will be greatly improved by saving the time on assembling the equipment.
- 2. The connection among the support rods forms triangles and then rhombus to provide better stability for the apparatus. The stable support improves the service life of the apparatus and the safety of users during exercise. The support board may increase the contact area between the users and the ground when users are doing exercise with the crossbar, preventing the slide of the support rod. Surely the support board may further improve the stability of the apparatus and prevent the users from injury.
- 3. The support board, the support rods are connected in a detachable manner, not only facilitating the transportation and placement of the apparatus, but also benefitting for storage with less occupation. The detachably connected support board and support rods also simplifies the manufacturing with lower cost and benefits for the market promotion of the apparatus.
- 4. The connecting ear may be connected with the elastic belt and the crossbar, and therefore users can have different exercise programs using the exercise apparatus. The utility of the exercise apparatus satisfies user's different exercise needs and allows users to have multiple exercise, improving the user's experience.
- 5. The connecting block may increase the strength of the support rods, and secure the connection between the support rod and the grip rod. The relief groove may relief the crossbar and make it lighter, so that the exercise apparatus could be transported easily. The lighter and strengthen exercise apparatus may fascinate its usage and storage.
- 6. The first skidproof stripe and the second skidproof stripe may increase the friction between the support rod and the support board, so as to prevent the support rods from slide during exercise and avoid the users from injury.
- 7. The exercise handle provides more comfort for the users when they grip the grip rods during exercise. The apparatus has improved continuous utilization since the exercise handle can be replaced after long-term use.
- 8. The support board comprises a first support board and a second support board. The two-pieced device reduces the space occupation and lower the transportation cost. It also allows the reduction of size for the support board and other components so that the cost of manufacturing may be greatly decreased.
- 9. The relief opening on the support rod may prevent the pull rod from protruding upward which may interfere with the user's fitness, and may further improve the stability of the connection.

FIG. 12 is a schematic diagram of the biceps training according to embodiments of the present disclosure. - The detailed implementations of the present disclosure will be further described below in conjunction with the drawings and embodiments. The following embodiments are only used to illustrate the technical solutions of the present disclosure more clearly, and cannot be used to limit the protection scope of the present disclosure.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 toFIG. 7 , the multifunctional exercise apparatus comprises asupport board 1. A plurality ofsupport rods 2 are crisscrossed on thesupport board 1. One end of thesupport rod 2 is secured to thesupport board 1. A plurality ofgrip rods 3 is provided between the plurality ofsupport rods 2 and is located on the other end of the support rod. The plurality ofsupport rods 2 comprises afirst support rod 21, asecond support rod 22, athird support rod 23 and afourth support rod 26. The plurality ofgrip rods 3 comprises afirst grip rod 31, asecond grip rod 32, and athird grip rod 35. Thefirst support rod 21, thesecond support rod 22 and thethird support rod 23 are arranged on thesupport rod 1. Thefirst support rod 21 and thesecond support rod 22 are connected via thefirst grip rod 31. Thethird support rod 23 is connected to thefirst support rod 21 and thesecond support rod 22 via thesecond grip rod 32. Thefourth support rod 26 is arranged on thesupport board 1 and is located at the other end of thethird support rod 23. Thefourth support rod 26 is connected to thefirst support rod 21 and thesecond support rod 22 via thethird grip rod 35. Thethird support rod 23 and thefourth support rod 26 are symmetrically located at both ends of thefirst grip rod 31. Thesupport rods 2 are crisscrossed on thesupport board 1, and the support rods are connected via thegrip rods 3 so that thegrip rods 3 are crisscrossed on thesupport board 1. When users are doing push-up, they can directly grip the grip rods to form different angle for training different muscle part. The connection and arrangement of thefirst support rod 21, thesecond support rod 22, thethird support rod 23 and thesupport rod 26 allows triangles to be formed therebetween and therefore the rhombus structure. The triangle or rhombus structure benefits the exercise apparatus to have strengthen stability and better service life, and increases the safety when users doing exercise. - In order to improve the service life of the
grip rods 3, it is necessary to relief the force applied to thegrip rods 3 and increase the stability and strength of the apparatus. The plurality ofsupport rods 2 further comprises afifth support rod 24, asixth support rod 25 and aseventh support rod 27. The plurality ofgrip rods 3 further comprises afourth grip rod 33, afifth grip rod 34 and asixth grip rod 36. Thefifth support rod 24 and thesixth support rod 25 are arranged on thesupport board 1. Thefifth support rod 24 and thefirst support rod 21 are connected via thefourth grip rod 33. The sixth support rod is connected to thefirst support rod 21 and thefifth support rod 24 respectively via thefifth grip rod 24. Theseventh support rod 27 is arranged on thesupport board 1. Theseventh support rod 27 is connected to thefirst support rod 21 and theseventh support rod 27 respectively via thesixth grip rod 36. Thesixth support rod 25 and theseventh support rod 27 are symmetrically located at both ends of thefourth grip rod 33. The arrangement of thefifth support rod 24, thesixth support rod 25 and theseventh support rod 27 increase the force bearing point and therefore improve the stability. It can also reduce the span of thegrip rod 3 and strengthen the plurality ofgrip rod 3 so that the plurality ofgrip rods 3 are able to bear much more force. - In order to have a
stable support board 1 and achieve uniform force and improve stability, thefirst support rod 21 is provided in the middle of thesupport board 1, and thesecond support rod 22 and thefifth support 24 are respectively provided at both ends of thefirst support rod 21. Thefirst support rod 21, thesecond support rod 22 and thefifth support rod 24 are located on the same straight line. - In order to facilitate transportation and placement, the
support board 1 is provided with a plurality of through holes for receiving the plurality ofsupport rods 2. Thesupport rod 2 is inserted into the through hole. The through hole may be provided with a limiting step (not shown) that prevents thesupport rod 2 from passing through the through hole. The limiting step is abutted against thesupport rod 2. - In order to have more exercise programs for users and increase the utility for satisfying users' different exercise requirement, the present exercise apparatus further comprises a
crossbar 93. Anelastic belt 92 is connected to thecrossbar 93. A plurality of connectingears 9 are secured to the plurality ofsupport rods 2, and are separately located at both ends of thesupport board 1. The connectingear 9 is connected to theelastic belt 92 via a connectingbuckle 91. Using thecrossbar 93, users can stand on thesupport board 1 and pull thecrossbar 93 for performing different exercises for the shoulders or arms. This makes the apparatus multifunctional, meeting different fitness needs of users, and increasing the product market promotion rate. - In order to reduce the weight of the
support rod 2, save the transportation cost, and facilitate the disassembly and assembly, thesupport rod 2 is provided with a through hole passing through thesupport rod 2. Sealing covers 4 are respectively covered at both ends of thesupport rod 2 for sealing thesupport rod 2. - In order to further reduce the weight of the
grip rod 3 and improve the strength of the connection, a connectingblock 10 is tightly fitted over thesupport rod 2. Both ends of thegrip rod 3 are fitted into the connectingblock 10 and anchored to thesupport rod 2. A plurality of load-sheddinggrooves 101 that are communicated with each other are provided between thegrip rods 3. The connectingblock 10 is capable of strengthen thesupport rods 2, and making the connection between thesupport rods 2 and thegrip rods 3 more reliable. The presence of load-shedding grooves allows the weight reduction of thegrip rods 3, and make the grip rods lighter which benefits for transportation, placement and storage. - In order to prevent the
support rods 2 from sliding, the sealing cover 4 is provided with afirst skidproof stripe 41. - In order to facilitate doing exercise, and improving users' experience, an
exercise handle 102 is fitter over thegrip rod 3. Aclaw 103 is provided on theexercise handle 102, and theclaw 103 is clamped on inner wall of the load-shedding groove and is abutted against the inner wall. The exercise handle 102 provides more comfort then users holding thegrip rods 3, improving the users' experience. The exercise apparatus has improved continuous utilization since the exercise handle can be replaced after long-term use. - In order to prevent the support board from sliding when users doing push-ups, the support board is provided with a second skidproof stripe.
- In order to reduce the occupation and weight of the
support board 1, ends of thesupport board 1 are provided withrelief grooves 8. - In order to facilitate the transportation and installation of the
support board 1, and save the manufacture cost and occupation of the support board, thesupport board 1 comprises afirst support board 11 and asecond support board 12. Thefirst support board 11 and thesecond support board 12 are arranged symmetrically. Twopull rods 6 are symmetrically arranged between thefirst support board 11 and thesecond support board 12. Both ends of thepull rod 6 is anchored with a clampingblock 61. The clamping blocks 61 are clamped on thesupport rod 2 of thefirst support board 11 and thesupport rod 2 of thesecond support board 12, respectively. Thesupport board 1 is divided in to thefirst support board 11 and thesecond support board 12, which reduces the occupation and lower the transportation cost. The reduced size of thesupport board 1 and other components also benefit to lower manufacture cost. - In order to prevent the
pull rod 6 from protruding upward to interfere users' exercise and further improve the stability of the connection, thesupport rod 2 of thefirst support board 11 and thesupport rod 2 of thesecond support board 12 are respectively provided with arelief opening 62 for thepull rod 6 to insert therein. - In order to further secure the
first support board 11 and thesecond support board 12, preventing the support board from sliding, a second anchor device is arranged between thefirst support board 11 and thesecond support board 12. The second anchor device is a plurality of limitingblocks 7 secured on thesecond support rod 22. A plurality of limitingopenings 71, which are capable of clamping with the limitingblocks 7, are arranged on thefirst support rod 21. - Principle of using the exercise apparatus is described as follows.
- As shown in
FIGS. 8-9 , which provides a partial view of a user doing pull-ups using the present exercise apparatus. Thesupport board 1 is placed on the ground with thesupport rods 2 upwards. The user may gripdifferent grip rods 3 for various pull-ups, including chest and arms training. Moreover, users may choose to gripdifferent grip rods 3 with different spans for having different push-ups based on their body posture and state. This exercise apparatus not only suitable for all ages, but also benefit for the exercise because it allows users to grip different rods with different angles and body state. - As shown in
FIGS. 10-12 , it is a partial view of the user using this apparatus for exercising other parts. Thesupport board 1 is paced upward, and thesupport rod 2 downward. Then an external elastic rope and pullrod 6 are secured to the connecting ears to allows users to exercise other parts.FIG. 10 provides a view of users performing weight-bearing squat training on the legs. As shown inFIG. 11 , users may train the shoulders by pulling the elastic rope. As shown inFIG. 12 , users may train the biceps by puling the elastic rope. - It should be noted that the training parts of this apparatus are not limited to the above-mentioned trainings.
- The basic principles, main features and advantages of the present disclosure are shown and described above. Those skilled in the art should understand that the present disclosure is not limited by the above-mentioned embodiments. The above-mentioned embodiments and descriptions only illustrate part the present disclosure. The principle of the disclosure, without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure, may have various changes and improvements. These changes and improvements fall within the scope of the claimed present disclosure. The claimed protection scope of the present disclosure is defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
