Abstract
The invention relates to the field of housewares, particularly to a mop holder (2) which enables to hold a mop in a mop and bucket set in vertical position. Thereby, a user may save operational time of disassembly for the arrangement of a mop and bucket set, and reduce damages due to multiple disassembly operations. Further, a mop holder can also be neatly arranged inside a mop and bucket set when out of usage.
Description
- The invention relates to the field of housewares, particularly to a mop holder which enables a mop in a mop and bucket set to be in vertical position.
- Nowadays, mop and bucket sets have been highly developed for the sake of users' convenience and fatigue reduction when cleaning floors. There are various commercially available mop and bucket sets with diverse designs such as 360 degree spin mop and bucket set, mini mop and bucket set, etc. However, such existing mop and bucket sets share the same problem related to tidy arrangement of mops therein, and the common applicable solution is a method of disassembly which takes time and possibly causes damage thereto and reduces life cycle thereof due to the continuous disassembly when using.
- To overcome the shortcomings, the invention provides a mop holder which enables to keep a mop to be in vertical position in a mop and bucket set.
- A mop holder according to the invention comprises one end attached to an edge of a
bucket 1 by a knuckle joint 3 by way of hinge mechanism, and the other engages with a mop firmly by an elastic groove joint. Accordingly, a mop is kept by two members, the first one is a face plate positioned with a knuckle joint in a mop and bucket set, and the other is a mop holder. - Further, a mop holder according to the invention can be arranged neatly inside a mop and bucket set by being rotated into the clamping joint on the mop and bucket set.
- According to an embodiment of the invention, a material for producing a mop holder is a resin molding material, however, the invention is not limited to any materials as long as such material is adequately durable and capable of engaging with a mop by an elastic groove joint, and hold a mop in vertical position in a mop and bucket set if necessary.
- In addition, the invention also provides a mop and bucket set having a mop holder. A mop and bucket set is any mop and bucket set which is not limited to designs or specific cleaning functions.
- The objectives, advantages and novel characteristics of the invention are further explained in the detailed description part in reference with the enclosed figures.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a mop and bucket set attaching a mop holder according to an embodiment of the invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view illustrating a mop and bucket set with a mop holder in two positions according to an embodiment of the invention; -
FIG. 3 is a perspective view illustrating a mop and bucket set wherein the mop is kept vertically by a mop holder according to an embodiment of the invention. -
FIG. 4 is an exploded view ofFIG. 3 . - Embodiments for carrying out the invention will become clearer in reference to the following detailed description. However, despite being described in the form of embodiments, it is understood that these embodiments are for illustrative purposes without limiting the invention thereto. The scope of the invention is solely identified by the claim set.
- To solve the problem of existing technical solutions, the invention provides a mop holder which enables to keep a mop in vertical position in a mop and bucket set. Hereinafter, a mop holder and a mop and bucket set including such holder according to the invention will be described clearly on the basis of the description of embodiments in reference to figures. The description of components sharing the same configuration with common ones will be omitted to make the invention clearer.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , amop holder 2 having one end configured to be attachable with an edge of abucket 1 by a knuckle joint 3 by way of hinge mechanism, and the other configured to include an elastic joint 4. As being configured to attach to the mop and bucket set by the knuckle hinge joint 3, amop holder 2 enables to rotate by way of a hinge to contact with the lateral part or the upper part of thebucket 1. - With reference to
FIG. 3 , when using, amop 5 is engaged with an elastic groove joint 4 of amop holder 2. Accordingly, a mop is kept by two members, the first one is aface plate 6 positioned with alower knuckle joint 7 in a mop and bucket set, and the other is an elastic groove joint 4 of amop holder 2. Thereby, a mop is kept vertically in a mop and bucket set. - By such configuration, in addition to keeping a mop vertically in a mop and bucket set; when out of the usage state, a mop holder according to the invention enables to be neatly arranged in a mop and bucket set by being rotated into the clamping joint on the mop and bucket set (not presented in figures).
- According to an embodiment of the invention, a
mop holder 2 is formed by a resin molding material; however amop holder 2 is not limited thereto, and it can be made of any materials as long as such material is subject to the above configuration and adequately durable to engage with a mop by an elastic groove joint and keep a mop in vertical position in a mop and bucket set when necessary. - Further, thanks to its compact configuration, and easy and simple operation, a mop holder according to the invention is applicable for any mop and bucket set without limitation on designs or specific cleaning functions thereof.
- Also, a mop holder in one embodiment is attached with an edge of a
bucket 1, and preferably with the center position of the edge of thebucket 1. Nevertheless, the invention is not limited to any positions on the edge of the bucket as long as amop holder 2 enables to rotate around the knuckle joint to keep amop 5 vertically or neatly in the bucket. - In addition, a
mop holder 2 according to the invention is not limited to the one fixed on the bucket, it can be detachable during usage or maintenance and clearance. - In spite of the fact that advantages and technical features of the invention are clearly described in the detailed description part, it is understood by a skilled person in the art that any variations, modifications or alternatives can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. The invention includes all of the said variations, modifications, and complements within the scope identified by the claim set.
