Description

    CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims the priority of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2020-49502 filed on Apr. 23, 2020, in the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
  • One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a cosmetic container, and more particularly, to a cosmetic container including a detachable mirror, in which a user may detach, separately carry, and use a mirror attached to an inner side of the container as necessary.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • A cosmetic product is an article used for beautifying the appearance of a human body and covering defects of the appearance to make the appearance look attractive, or for maintaining the health of skin, hair, and the like.
  • The cosmetic product is classified into basic cosmetics, color cosmetics, and functional cosmetics according to the purpose of use, and manufactured in a liquid or gel form or a solid or powder form according to characteristics thereof so as to be stored in various types of cosmetic containers for use.
  • Accordingly, it is necessary to develop a container for various types of cosmetic products according to the purpose of use and the characteristics of the cosmetic products. In general, a liquid or gel cosmetic product is used in a manner that the liquid or gel cosmetic product is filled in a glass container or a tube container, and applied onto the skin by a user through taking out some of the liquid or gel cosmetic product on a hand or squeezing out some of the liquid or gel cosmetic product upon use.
  • However, according to such a conventional cosmetic container, there is an inconvenience in that the user is required to wash his or her hand on which a cosmetic material is put whenever the user uses the cosmetic material, and there is a problem that the cosmetic material is wasted.
  • In order to solve the problems as described above, a compact container in which a puff is mounted has been developed so as not to put the cosmetic material on the hand, and to easily carry the puff.
  • As a conventional compact container as described above, Korean Patent Registration No. 10-1584512 has been disclosed, in which the conventional compact container includes: an outer container; a refill container coupled to an inner side of the outer container and accommodated therein with a cosmetic material; a refill container lid for opening and closing the refill container; and an outer container lid for opening and closing the outer container, wherein the outer container and the refill container are detachably undercut-coupled to each other, so that when the cosmetic material accommodated in the refill container is used up, the refill container may be separated from the outer container, and a new refill container may be coupled to the outer container.
  • However, the conventional compact container has a structure in which a mirror is fixedly coupled to an inner side of the outer container lid, so that there is an inconvenience in that the outer container has to be gripped and used in a state in which the outer container lid is opened, and there is a problem in that the outer container lid is arbitrarily closed by an external impact or an inclination of the outer container to cause the mirror to be covered.
  • In addition, according to the conventional compact container, in a case of discarding the conventional compact container when the cosmetic product accommodated in the conventional compact container is used up, it is difficult to separate the mirror, which is formed of a material different from materials of other components, from other components, so that the mirror and other components may only be discarded at once. Accordingly, resources may be wasted, and an environment may be polluted.
  • In order to solve the problems as described above, Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0488068 has been disclosed. According to the related art, a cosmetic container to which a mirror is detachably coupled includes: a lower container for storing contents therein; an outer lid including a cover part configured to open and close an upper portion of the lower container and facing the lower container, and a side part extending downward while surrounding a circumference of the cover part; and a mirror attached to an inner side of the outer lid, wherein the cover part and the side part are detachably coupled to each other by an interference fit, and the mirror is attached to an inner side of the cover part.
  • However, according to the related art, since the cover part and the mirror are fixedly coupled to each other by a coupling member, and the coupling member is coupled to an upper side of the side part by an interference fit scheme, there is inconvenience in forcibly separating or fastening the coupling member from or to the outer lid, and when the coupling member is forcibly separated from and coupled to the outer lid several times, there is a problem that the mirror is easily separated from the outer lid while being carried or used due to a reduction in coupling strength between the outer lid and the coupling member that are coupled to each other by the interference fit.
  • In addition, in order to separate the coupling member from the outer lid, one surface of the mirror has to be pushed so that the coupling member may be forcibly separated upward from the outer lid. In this case, the mirror may be contaminated by foreign substances put on the hand, and when the mirror is strongly pressed to separate the coupling member, the mirror may be damaged by a pressing force.

  • In the present disclosure, when some part “includes” some elements, unless explicitly described to the contrary, it means that other elements may be further included but not excluded.
  • Hereinafter, a cosmetic container including a detachable mirror according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 10.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view showing the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention.
  • As shown in the drawings, according to one aspect of the present disclosure, the cosmetic container may include a lower container 10, an upper container 20, an upper container cover 30, a mirror 40, and a refill container 50.
  • The lower container 10 may be accommodated therein with a cosmetic product, and may have a cylindrical shape with an open top and an open bottom, in which the refill container 50 may be inserted through the open top. Although the lower container 10 has been shown in the drawings of the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention as having a cylindrical shape with a low height and a wide width, the configuration is not limited thereto, and the shape may be variously changed according to convenience of use, preference of a purchaser, a trend, or the like.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, the lower container 10 may include an outer wall 12 extending upward from an edge of a bottom of the lower container 10, and an inner wall 14 spaced inward from the outer wall 12 by a predetermined interval. A button insertion hole 12 a may be formed on one side of the outer wall 12, a hinge insertion hole 12 b may be formed on an opposite side of the button insertion hole 12 a, and at least one insertion hole 14 a may be formed in the inner wall 14. In this case, each of the button insertion hole 12 a, the hinge insertion hole 12 b, and the insertion hole 14 a may preferably be configured in the form of a hole having an open top and extending vertically.
  • The cosmetic container may further include an intermediate body 60 having a structure to be fastened to the upper container 20, and the intermediate body 60 may be coupled to the lower container 10. The intermediate body 60 may have a ring shape so as to be inserted and fixedly coupled between the outer wall 12 and the inner wall 14 of the lower container 10. The intermediate body 60 may be formed at an outer periphery thereof with a push button 62 inserted into an upper portion of the button insertion hole 12 a of the lower container 10, and formed at an inner periphery thereof with at least one insertion part 64 inserted into an upper portion of the insertion hole 14 a of the lower container 10.
  • The push button 62 may include a pressing part 62 a pressed by a user with a finger or the like, elastic blades 62 b extending from both side surfaces of the pressing part 62 a, and a fastening protrusion 62 c formed on an upper portion of the pressing part 62 a. The pressing part 62 a of the push button 62 may be exposed to an outside of the cosmetic container through the button insertion hole 12 a of the lower container 10, and the fastening protrusion 62 c may be coupled to a fastening hook 22 formed on the upper container 20. In this case, the push button 62 may be configured such that an end of the elastic blade 62 b is integrally connected to one side surface of the intermediate body 60 to constitute a part of the intermediate body 60 while the pressing part 62 a is separated from the intermediate body 60 by a predetermined interval, so that the push button 62 may be easily moved forward and rearward by a pressing operation of the user.
  • In more detail, according to the related art, when a button member is assembled with a compact container, the button member is fitted to a button hole while being inserted into a fixing protrusion of the compact container, so that it is difficult to assemble the button member, and thus productivity is low. Accordingly, the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention is configured such that the intermediate body 60 having a ring shape is coupled to an inner side of the lower container 10, and the push button 62 is integrally formed on one side of the intermediate body 60, so that the push button 62 may be elastically moved forward and rearward from the intermediate body 60 so as to be fastened to or unfastened from the upper container 20. Therefore, in a state in which the push button 62 is formed integrally with the intermediate body 60, the push button 62 may be exposed to the outside through the button insertion hole 12 a of the lower container 10 so as operate smoothly, and it is unnecessary to separately assemble the push button 62 with the lower container 10, so that productivity may be improved due to simplification of a manufacturing process and a reduction in labor and assembly costs resulting from the simplification of the manufacturing process.
  • In addition, the elastic blade 62 b of the push button 62 may extend along the outer periphery of the intermediate body 60, and may include at least one bent part 62 d. In other words, the elastic blade 62 b may be formed in a curved shape due to a plurality of bent parts 62 d, that is, in a corrugated shape while extending outward from the pressing part 62 a, so that the pressing part 62 a may be more elastically moved forward and rearward when the pressing part 62 a is pressed.
  • In more detail, according to the related art, a button support of the push button extends along an inner periphery of the container to elastically support a button body while being bent by a pressure on the button body. In this case, only a connection portion between the button body and the button support is forcibly bent, so that durability of the connection portion is low, and there is a limitation in providing elasticity to the button body by the button support. Accordingly, the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention is configured such that the elastic blades 62 b are formed on both sides of the pressing part 62 a of the push button 62, the end of the elastic blade 62 b is integrally connected to one side surface of the intermediate body 60, and the bent parts 62 d having a curved shape is formed on the elastic blade 62 b, so that when the user presses the push button 62, a bending portion of the elastic blade 62 b may be distributed throughout the elastic blade 62 b by the bent part 62 d, and thus the push button 62 may operate more stably and elastically.
  • In this case, it is preferable that the push button 62 is injection-molded integrally with the intermediate body 60 as shown in the drawings.
  • Although the lower container 10 and the intermediate body 60 have been shown in the drawings of the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention as being coupled to each other by a protrusion and a groove, the configuration is not limited thereto, and various coupling schemes that allow the intermediate body 60 to be firmly and fixedly coupled to the inner side of the lower container 10, such as undercut coupling or force-fit coupling, may be applied.
  • Meanwhile, the refill container 50 accommodated therein with the cosmetic material may be coupled to an inner space of the lower container 10. The cosmetic product or an impregnating member S impregnated with the cosmetic product may be mounted in the refill container 50, a fixing member 54 may be coupled to an upper portion of the refill container 50 to prevent the impregnating member S accommodated in the refill container 50 from being separated to the outside, and a refill container cover 52 may be formed on one side of the refill container 50 to open and close the refill container 50.
  • The upper container 20 may be coupled to one side of the lower container 10 to open and close the lower container 10.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, the upper container 20 may have a ring shape, and a fastening hook 22 may extend downward from one side of the upper container 20 so as to be fastened to the fastening protrusion 62 c of the push button 62. In addition, a hinge part 24 may extend downward from an opposite side of the fastening hook 22, in which the hinge part 24 may be inserted into the hinge insertion hole 12 b of the lower container 10 so as to be coupled to the lower container 10.
  • As shown in a partially enlarged view in FIG. 2, the upper container 20 may be formed at an outer periphery thereof with a first fastening part 26 including a first vertical insertion groove 26 a and a first horizontal fastening groove 26 b. One side of the first vertical insertion groove 26 a may be opened toward a top of the upper container 20, and the first horizontal fastening groove 26 b may be connected to the first vertical insertion groove 26 a so as to extend horizontally. In this case, a first latching protrusion 26 c may protrude from the first horizontal fastening groove 26 b to restrict a rotation of the upper container cover 30 fastened to the upper container 20.
  • The upper container cover 30 may be detachably coupled to the upper container 20, and may be fastened to or unfastened from the upper container 20 while being rotated by a predetermined distance. The upper container cover 30 may have a disc shape corresponding to the upper container 20, and may have an open bottom to cover an upper portion of the upper container 20.
  • As shown in FIG. 3, the upper container cover 30 may be formed on one surface thereof with an attachment surface 32 to which the mirror 40 is attached, and may include a gripping side surface 34 extending perpendicularly from an outer side of the attachment surface. A mirror guide part 32 a may protrude from a lower edge of the attachment surface 32, in which the mirror guide part 32 a may guide the mirror 40 such that the mirror 40 may be located at a center of the upper container cover 30 without being biased to one side when the mirror 40 is attached to the upper container cover 30.
  • At least one fastening protrusion part 34 a may be formed at an inner periphery of the gripping side surface 34 of the upper container cover 30. The fastening protrusion part 34 a may be fastened or unfastened while sequentially passing through the first vertical insertion groove 26 a and the first horizontal fastening groove 26 b of the upper container 20. In other words, when the upper container 20 and the upper container cover 30 are fastened to each other, the fastening protrusion part 34 a of the upper container cover 30 may be inserted into the first vertical insertion groove 26 a of the upper container 20, and sequentially, the fastening protrusion part 34 a of the upper container cover 30 may be inserted into the first horizontal fastening groove 26 b of the upper container 20 as the upper container cover 30 is rotated in one direction. In this case, the fastening protrusion part 34 a may ride over the first latching protrusion 26 c to restrict a rotation of the fastening protrusion part 34 a in an opposite direction. In addition, when the upper container 20 and the upper container cover 30 are separated from each other, the upper container cover 30 may be rotated in the opposite direction to move the fastening protrusion part 34 a from the first horizontal fastening groove 26 b to a lower portion of the first vertical insertion groove 26 a, and sequentially, the fastening protrusion part 34 a may be taken out from the first vertical insertion groove 26 a.
  • However, the upper container cover 30 and the upper container 20 of the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention may be detachably coupled to each other not only by the above-described fastening structure, but also by various fastening structures that allow the upper container cover 30 and the upper container 20 to be easily and detachably coupled to each other, such as coupling by a magnetic force, undercut coupling, or screw coupling.
  • In addition, the cosmetic container may further include a nameplate 80 formed on one surface of the upper container cover 30, which is exposed to the outside. As shown in FIG. 3, the nameplate 80 may be disposed on an opposite side of the mirror 40 with respect to the attachment surface 32 of the upper container cover 30, and may be attached to an exterior of the cosmetic container, especially a top surface of the container cover, to improve an aesthetic impression of the cosmetic container and provide information about the cosmetic container to a consumer.
  • The mirror 40 may be attached to the inner side of the upper container cover 30 to reflect a makeup region of the user. As shown in FIG. 2, the mirror 40 may be attached to the attachment surface 32 of the upper container cover 30 and located at an inner center of the upper container cover 30 by the mirror guide part 32 a, and as shown in FIG. 3, the mirror 40 may press an upper end of the upper container 20 when the upper container cover 30 is coupled to the upper container 20.
  • Meanwhile, the cosmetic container may further include a hand mirror coupling member 70 to which the upper container cover 30 separated from the upper container 20 is coupled. As shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, the hand mirror coupling member 70 may be separately provided, and may be coupled to the mirror 40 for convenience of use when the mirror 40 is separated from the container so as to be separately carried or used.
  • As shown in FIG. 8, the hand mirror coupling member 70 may include a cover coupling ring 72 to which the upper container cover 30 is coupled, and a handle 74 protruding from one side of the cover coupling ring 72. In this case, a stepped sill 75 may be formed on the cover coupling ring 72 of the hand mirror coupling member 70 so that a lower end of the upper container cover 30 may be seated on the stepped sill 75.
  • A second fastening part 76 including a second vertical insertion groove 76 a and a second horizontal fastening groove 76 b may be formed at an outer periphery of the cover coupling ring 72 of the hand mirror coupling member 70. One side of the second vertical insertion groove 76 a may be opened toward a top of the cover coupling ring 72, and the second horizontal fastening groove 76 b may be connected to the second vertical insertion groove 76 a so as to extend horizontally. In this case, a second latching protrusion 76 c may protrude from the second horizontal fastening groove 76 b to restrict the rotation of the upper container cover 30 fastened to the hand mirror coupling member 70.
  • The fastening protrusion part 34 a of the upper container cover 30 may be sequentially inserted and fastened into the second vertical insertion groove 76 a and the second horizontal fastening groove 76 b of the hand mirror coupling member 70. In other words, when the upper container cover 30 and the hand mirror coupling member 70 are fastened to each other, the fastening protrusion part 34 a of the upper container cover 30 may be inserted into the second vertical insertion groove 76 a of the hand mirror coupling member 70, and sequentially, the fastening protrusion part 34 a of the upper container cover 30 may be inserted into the second horizontal fastening groove 76 b of the hand mirror coupling member 70 as the upper container cover 30 is rotated in one direction. In this case, the fastening protrusion part 34 a may ride over the second latching protrusion 76 c to restrict the rotation of the fastening protrusion part 34 a in the opposite direction. In addition, when the upper container cover 30 and the hand mirror coupling member 70 are separated from each other, the upper container cover 30 may be rotated in the opposite direction to move the fastening protrusion part 34 a from the second horizontal fastening groove 76 b to a lower portion of the second vertical insertion groove 76 a, and the fastening protrusion part 34 a may be subsequently taken out from the second vertical insertion groove 76 a.
  • As described above, according to one embodiment of the present invention, the cosmetic container is configured such that the upper container cover 30 is detachably coupled to one side of the upper container 20 for opening and closing the lower container 10, and the mirror 40 is attached to the inner side of the upper container cover 30, so that the upper container cover 30 to which the mirror 40 is attached may be separated from the upper container 20 so as to be easily and separately carried, or fitted to the hand mirror coupling member 70 and used conveniently, and thus usability of the cosmetic container and utilization of the mirror may be improved. In addition, in a case of separate collection of the cosmetic container when the cosmetic product accommodated in the cosmetic container is used up, the mirror 40 may be easily separated and recycled, so that a waste of resources and environmental pollution may be reduced.
  • FIGS. 4 to 10 are views showing use states of the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention, and a method of using a cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 to 10.
  • FIG. 4 is a sectional view illustrating a state in which the cosmetic container is opened according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 5 is a perspective view illustrating a state in which an upper container cover is rotated so as to be unfastened from an upper container according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 6 is a perspective view illustrating a state in which the upper container cover is lifted upward so as to be separated from the upper container according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 7 is a perspective view illustrating a state in which the upper container cover is separated from the upper container according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 8 is a perspective view illustrating a state in which the upper container cover is coupled to a hand mirror coupling member according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 9 is a perspective view illustrating a state in which the upper container cover is rotated so as to be fastened to the hand mirror coupling member according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 10 is a perspective view illustrating a state in which the upper container cover is coupled to the hand mirror coupling member according to one embodiment of the present invention.
  • In order to use the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention, first, as shown in FIG. 4, the push button 62 exposed to one side of the lower container 10 may be pressed to unfasten the upper container 20 from the lower container 10. In this case, the elastic blade 62 b formed in a curved shape by the bent parts 62 d may be elastically bent as the pressing part 62 a of the push button 62 is pressed, and simultaneously, the fastening hook 22 formed in the upper container 20 may be unfastened as the fastening protrusion 62 c moves rearward. In other words, since the elastic blade 62 b is formed in a corrugated shape along the outer periphery of the intermediate body 60 by the bent parts 62 d, when the user presses the pressing part 62 a of the push button 62, the bending portion of the elastic blade 62 b may be distributed throughout the elastic blade 62 b by the bent part 62 d, so that the push button 62 may operate more stably and elastically.
