- This application claims the priority of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2020-49502 filed on Apr. 23, 2020, in the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference.
- One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a cosmetic container, and more particularly, to a cosmetic container including a detachable mirror, in which a user may detach, separately carry, and use a mirror attached to an inner side of the container as necessary.
- A cosmetic product is an article used for beautifying the appearance of a human body and covering defects of the appearance to make the appearance look attractive, or for maintaining the health of skin, hair, and the like.
- The cosmetic product is classified into basic cosmetics, color cosmetics, and functional cosmetics according to the purpose of use, and manufactured in a liquid or gel form or a solid or powder form according to characteristics thereof so as to be stored in various types of cosmetic containers for use.
- Accordingly, it is necessary to develop a container for various types of cosmetic products according to the purpose of use and the characteristics of the cosmetic products. In general, a liquid or gel cosmetic product is used in a manner that the liquid or gel cosmetic product is filled in a glass container or a tube container, and applied onto the skin by a user through taking out some of the liquid or gel cosmetic product on a hand or squeezing out some of the liquid or gel cosmetic product upon use.
- However, according to such a conventional cosmetic container, there is an inconvenience in that the user is required to wash his or her hand on which a cosmetic material is put whenever the user uses the cosmetic material, and there is a problem that the cosmetic material is wasted.
- In order to solve the problems as described above, a compact container in which a puff is mounted has been developed so as not to put the cosmetic material on the hand, and to easily carry the puff.
- As a conventional compact container as described above, Korean Patent Registration No. 10-1584512 has been disclosed, in which the conventional compact container includes: an outer container; a refill container coupled to an inner side of the outer container and accommodated therein with a cosmetic material; a refill container lid for opening and closing the refill container; and an outer container lid for opening and closing the outer container, wherein the outer container and the refill container are detachably undercut-coupled to each other, so that when the cosmetic material accommodated in the refill container is used up, the refill container may be separated from the outer container, and a new refill container may be coupled to the outer container.
- However, the conventional compact container has a structure in which a mirror is fixedly coupled to an inner side of the outer container lid, so that there is an inconvenience in that the outer container has to be gripped and used in a state in which the outer container lid is opened, and there is a problem in that the outer container lid is arbitrarily closed by an external impact or an inclination of the outer container to cause the mirror to be covered.
- In addition, according to the conventional compact container, in a case of discarding the conventional compact container when the cosmetic product accommodated in the conventional compact container is used up, it is difficult to separate the mirror, which is formed of a material different from materials of other components, from other components, so that the mirror and other components may only be discarded at once. Accordingly, resources may be wasted, and an environment may be polluted.
- In order to solve the problems as described above, Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0488068 has been disclosed. According to the related art, a cosmetic container to which a mirror is detachably coupled includes: a lower container for storing contents therein; an outer lid including a cover part configured to open and close an upper portion of the lower container and facing the lower container, and a side part extending downward while surrounding a circumference of the cover part; and a mirror attached to an inner side of the outer lid, wherein the cover part and the side part are detachably coupled to each other by an interference fit, and the mirror is attached to an inner side of the cover part.
- However, according to the related art, since the cover part and the mirror are fixedly coupled to each other by a coupling member, and the coupling member is coupled to an upper side of the side part by an interference fit scheme, there is inconvenience in forcibly separating or fastening the coupling member from or to the outer lid, and when the coupling member is forcibly separated from and coupled to the outer lid several times, there is a problem that the mirror is easily separated from the outer lid while being carried or used due to a reduction in coupling strength between the outer lid and the coupling member that are coupled to each other by the interference fit.
- In addition, in order to separate the coupling member from the outer lid, one surface of the mirror has to be pushed so that the coupling member may be forcibly separated upward from the outer lid. In this case, the mirror may be contaminated by foreign substances put on the hand, and when the mirror is strongly pressed to separate the coupling member, the mirror may be damaged by a pressing force.

FIGS. 1 to 10 . -
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention,FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view showing the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention, andFIG. 3 is a sectional view showing the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention. - As shown in the drawings, according to one aspect of the present disclosure, the cosmetic container may include a
lower container 10, anupper container 20, anupper container cover 30, amirror 40, and arefill container 50. - The
lower container 10 may be accommodated therein with a cosmetic product, and may have a cylindrical shape with an open top and an open bottom, in which therefill container 50 may be inserted through the open top. Although thelower container 10 has been shown in the drawings of the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention as having a cylindrical shape with a low height and a wide width, the configuration is not limited thereto, and the shape may be variously changed according to convenience of use, preference of a purchaser, a trend, or the like. - As shown in
FIG. 2 , thelower container 10 may include anouter wall 12 extending upward from an edge of a bottom of thelower container 10, and aninner wall 14 spaced inward from theouter wall 12 by a predetermined interval. Abutton insertion hole 12 a may be formed on one side of theouter wall 12, ahinge insertion hole 12 b may be formed on an opposite side of thebutton insertion hole 12 a, and at least oneinsertion hole 14 a may be formed in theinner wall 14. In this case, each of thebutton insertion hole 12 a, thehinge insertion hole 12 b, and theinsertion hole 14 a may preferably be configured in the form of a hole having an open top and extending vertically. - The cosmetic container may further include an
intermediate body 60 having a structure to be fastened to theupper container 20, and theintermediate body 60 may be coupled to thelower container 10. Theintermediate body 60 may have a ring shape so as to be inserted and fixedly coupled between theouter wall 12 and theinner wall 14 of thelower container 10. Theintermediate body 60 may be formed at an outer periphery thereof with apush button 62 inserted into an upper portion of thebutton insertion hole 12 a of thelower container 10, and formed at an inner periphery thereof with at least oneinsertion part 64 inserted into an upper portion of theinsertion hole 14 a of thelower container 10. - The
push button 62 may include apressing part 62 a pressed by a user with a finger or the like, elastic blades 62 b extending from both side surfaces of thepressing part 62 a, and afastening protrusion 62 c formed on an upper portion of thepressing part 62 a. Thepressing part 62 a of thepush button 62 may be exposed to an outside of the cosmetic container through thebutton insertion hole 12 a of thelower container 10, and thefastening protrusion 62 c may be coupled to afastening hook 22 formed on theupper container 20. In this case, thepush button 62 may be configured such that an end of theelastic blade 62 b is integrally connected to one side surface of theintermediate body 60 to constitute a part of theintermediate body 60 while thepressing part 62 a is separated from theintermediate body 60 by a predetermined interval, so that thepush button 62 may be easily moved forward and rearward by a pressing operation of the user. - In more detail, according to the related art, when a button member is assembled with a compact container, the button member is fitted to a button hole while being inserted into a fixing protrusion of the compact container, so that it is difficult to assemble the button member, and thus productivity is low. Accordingly, the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention is configured such that the
intermediate body 60 having a ring shape is coupled to an inner side of thelower container 10, and thepush button 62 is integrally formed on one side of theintermediate body 60, so that thepush button 62 may be elastically moved forward and rearward from theintermediate body 60 so as to be fastened to or unfastened from theupper container 20. Therefore, in a state in which thepush button 62 is formed integrally with theintermediate body 60, thepush button 62 may be exposed to the outside through thebutton insertion hole 12 a of thelower container 10 so as operate smoothly, and it is unnecessary to separately assemble thepush button 62 with thelower container 10, so that productivity may be improved due to simplification of a manufacturing process and a reduction in labor and assembly costs resulting from the simplification of the manufacturing process. - In addition, the
elastic blade 62 b of thepush button 62 may extend along the outer periphery of theintermediate body 60, and may include at least onebent part 62 d. In other words, theelastic blade 62 b may be formed in a curved shape due to a plurality ofbent parts 62 d, that is, in a corrugated shape while extending outward from thepressing part 62 a, so that thepressing part 62 a may be more elastically moved forward and rearward when thepressing part 62 a is pressed. - In more detail, according to the related art, a button support of the push button extends along an inner periphery of the container to elastically support a button body while being bent by a pressure on the button body. In this case, only a connection portion between the button body and the button support is forcibly bent, so that durability of the connection portion is low, and there is a limitation in providing elasticity to the button body by the button support. Accordingly, the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention is configured such that the
elastic blades 62 b are formed on both sides of thepressing part 62 a of thepush button 62, the end of theelastic blade 62 b is integrally connected to one side surface of theintermediate body 60, and thebent parts 62 d having a curved shape is formed on theelastic blade 62 b, so that when the user presses thepush button 62, a bending portion of theelastic blade 62 b may be distributed throughout theelastic blade 62 b by thebent part 62 d, and thus thepush button 62 may operate more stably and elastically. - In this case, it is preferable that the
push button 62 is injection-molded integrally with theintermediate body 60 as shown in the drawings. - Although the
lower container 10 and theintermediate body 60 have been shown in the drawings of the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention as being coupled to each other by a protrusion and a groove, the configuration is not limited thereto, and various coupling schemes that allow theintermediate body 60 to be firmly and fixedly coupled to the inner side of thelower container 10, such as undercut coupling or force-fit coupling, may be applied. - Meanwhile, the
refill container 50 accommodated therein with the cosmetic material may be coupled to an inner space of thelower container 10. The cosmetic product or an impregnating member S impregnated with the cosmetic product may be mounted in therefill container 50, a fixingmember 54 may be coupled to an upper portion of therefill container 50 to prevent the impregnating member S accommodated in therefill container 50 from being separated to the outside, and arefill container cover 52 may be formed on one side of therefill container 50 to open and close therefill container 50. - The
upper container 20 may be coupled to one side of thelower container 10 to open and close thelower container 10. - As shown in
FIG. 2 , theupper container 20 may have a ring shape, and afastening hook 22 may extend downward from one side of theupper container 20 so as to be fastened to thefastening protrusion 62 c of thepush button 62. In addition, ahinge part 24 may extend downward from an opposite side of thefastening hook 22, in which thehinge part 24 may be inserted into thehinge insertion hole 12 b of thelower container 10 so as to be coupled to thelower container 10. - As shown in a partially enlarged view in
FIG. 2 , theupper container 20 may be formed at an outer periphery thereof with afirst fastening part 26 including a firstvertical insertion groove 26 a and a firsthorizontal fastening groove 26 b. One side of the firstvertical insertion groove 26 a may be opened toward a top of theupper container 20, and the firsthorizontal fastening groove 26 b may be connected to the firstvertical insertion groove 26 a so as to extend horizontally. In this case, afirst latching protrusion 26 c may protrude from the firsthorizontal fastening groove 26 b to restrict a rotation of theupper container cover 30 fastened to theupper container 20. - The
upper container cover 30 may be detachably coupled to theupper container 20, and may be fastened to or unfastened from theupper container 20 while being rotated by a predetermined distance. Theupper container cover 30 may have a disc shape corresponding to theupper container 20, and may have an open bottom to cover an upper portion of theupper container 20. - As shown in
FIG. 3 , theupper container cover 30 may be formed on one surface thereof with anattachment surface 32 to which themirror 40 is attached, and may include agripping side surface 34 extending perpendicularly from an outer side of the attachment surface. Amirror guide part 32 a may protrude from a lower edge of theattachment surface 32, in which themirror guide part 32 a may guide themirror 40 such that themirror 40 may be located at a center of theupper container cover 30 without being biased to one side when themirror 40 is attached to theupper container cover 30. - At least one
fastening protrusion part 34 a may be formed at an inner periphery of thegripping side surface 34 of theupper container cover 30. Thefastening protrusion part 34 a may be fastened or unfastened while sequentially passing through the firstvertical insertion groove 26 a and the firsthorizontal fastening groove 26 b of theupper container 20. In other words, when theupper container 20 and theupper container cover 30 are fastened to each other, thefastening protrusion part 34 a of theupper container cover 30 may be inserted into the firstvertical insertion groove 26 a of theupper container 20, and sequentially, thefastening protrusion part 34 a of theupper container cover 30 may be inserted into the firsthorizontal fastening groove 26 b of theupper container 20 as theupper container cover 30 is rotated in one direction. In this case, thefastening protrusion part 34 a may ride over thefirst latching protrusion 26 c to restrict a rotation of thefastening protrusion part 34 a in an opposite direction. In addition, when theupper container 20 and theupper container cover 30 are separated from each other, theupper container cover 30 may be rotated in the opposite direction to move thefastening protrusion part 34 a from the firsthorizontal fastening groove 26 b to a lower portion of the firstvertical insertion groove 26 a, and sequentially, thefastening protrusion part 34 a may be taken out from the firstvertical insertion groove 26 a. - However, the
upper container cover 30 and theupper container 20 of the cosmetic container according to one embodiment of the present invention may be detachably coupled to each other not only by the above-described fastening structure, but also by various fastening structures that allow theupper container cover 30 and theupper container 20 to be easily and detachably coupled to each other, such as coupling by a magnetic force, undercut coupling, or screw coupling. - In addition, the cosmetic container may further include a
nameplate 80 formed on one surface of theupper container cover 30, which is exposed to the outside. As shown inFIG. 3 , thenameplate 80 may be disposed on an opposite side of themirror 40 with respect to theattachment surface 32 of theupper container cover 30, and may be attached to an exterior of the cosmetic container, especially a top surface of the container cover, to improve an aesthetic impression of the cosmetic container and provide information about the cosmetic container to a consumer. - The
mirror 40 may be attached to the inner side of theupper container cover 30 to reflect a makeup region of the user. As shown inFIG. 2 , themirror 40 may be attached to theattachment surface 32 of theupper container cover 30 and located at an inner center of theupper container cover 30 by themirror guide part 32 a, and as shown inFIG. 3 , themirror 40 may press an upper end of theupper container 20 when theupper container cover 30 is coupled to theupper container 20. - Meanwhile, the cosmetic container may further include a hand
