Description

BACKGROUND 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates generally to a new design of an article of clothing. More specifically, the invention is related to a system and method of design of a men's underwear, brief or boxer.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • Systems and methods for designs for men's underwear is well known in the art. Men usually wear an article of clothing that covers male genitalia, buttocks and the upper portions of the thighs. It is important to have underwear that is comfortable and breathable. It acts to support male genitalia and separate the skin from more abrasive clothing like jeans and other materials used for outer clothing. FIG. 1 depicts a common underwear type system 101 and design of a conventional men's brief. The brief 101 traditionally is comprised of a breathable material in cylindrical shape forming a cylindrical cavity 107 with an elastic waistband 105 at the top, and two circular apertures for a person's legs 109, 111 to passthrough thus generally enclosing the groin area.
  • One of the problems commonly associated with process 101 is the limited use. For example, most designs of men's briefs force the male genetalia to be held tightly against the body which is very uncomfortable. This can become even more painful when a male becomes aroused, causing the male member to be pushed into the middle seam of the underwear. It is also inconvenient to have the enlarged male member conspicuous to other people. This further increases the importance of having comfortable underclothing as a way to increase modesty.
  • Although great strides have been made in the area of men's underclothing and methods of design and use, many shortcomings remain.
