Abstract

This utility model refers to a twist and push opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck, and comprises two rings: the inner ring (1), the thickness of which varies between 0.5 mm and 2 mm, in which there is a gluing zone (2), with the thickness varying from 0.5 mm to 2 mm, where the pre-perforated film (3) is glued; the inner ring (1) has a cutting zone (4) which varies from 0.5 mm to 1 mm; the outer ring (5) has a variable thickness of between 1 mm and 4 mm, on which the pre-perforated film is glued (3) to cover it completely; a reservoir (6) is positioned above the inner ring (1), where the substance to be mixed is stored and the walls of which are inclined (11) at a gradient of 5 degrees; in the continuation of the reservoir (6) there is an overlap (7) which protects the pre-perforated film (3) from coming into contact with any surface; on the top of the reservoir (6) is a lid (8) that protects the nozzle (9), and which is lined with a protective mesh (10) to make sure that if the pre-perforated film (3) comes away from the inner ring (1) it cannot be swallowed by the user.

Description

    1. OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention consists of a twist and press opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck.
  • The system allows the user to mix any substance, for example nutritional supplements or other substances, with the liquid inside the recipient with a threaded neck, in perfectly hygienic and safe conditions, with no wastage of the substances.
  • 2. TECHNICAL DETAIL
  • This twist and press opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck is different from the solutions available on the market because it allows the product to remain stored inside the system, and the users can transport it easily, mixing the liquid/substance inside the recipient with a threaded neck themselves, only when they intend to swallow it, thus ensuring the ingestible product maintains all its properties.
  • 3. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The twist and push opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck consists of two rings, one inner one (1) and another outer one (5), and the pre-perforated film (3).
  • The thickness of the inner ring (1) varies between 0.5 mm and 2 mm. The inner ring (1) has a gluing zone (2) with a thickness that varies from 0.5 mm to 2 mm, where the pre-perforated film (3) is glued only in this zone of the inner ring (1).
  • The inner ring (1) also has a cutting zone (4) of the pre-perforated film (3) with a thickness that varies between 0.5 mm and 1 mm.
  • The inner ring (1) is 0.5 mm to 1 mm longer than the outer ring (5) so that the film (3) is tightly stretched, thus carrying out two functions:
      • First it helps break the pre-perforated film (3) owing to the fact the film is made from polypropylene, and when it is broken it naturally rolls up into a scroll because of the raw material used, which means the product is released immediately after it is broken.
      • Furthermore, it increases the safety level preventing the product inside the tub (6) from leaking into the space between the inner ring (1) and the outer ring (5).
  • The thickness of the outer ring (5) varies between 1 mm and 4 mm, where the pre-perforated film (3) is glued the whole way around the outer ring (5). Its purpose is to insulate the inner ring (1), as well as the tub (6), preventing it from coming into contact with the outside.
  • The twist and push opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck also comprises a reservoir (6) into which any drinkable product can be put, such as powdered milk, concentrated juice, energy drinks or isotonic drinks, medicines, and food supplements.
  • The walls of the bottom of the reservoir (11) are inclined at a gradient of around 5 degrees so that the product—after being mixed with the liquid in the recipient with the threaded neck—can be poured into the recipient without any losses in quality in the mix.
  • The continuation of the reservoir (6) has an overlap (7), the purpose of which is to protect the pre-perforated film (3) when the twist and push opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck is in contact with any surface.
  • The overlap (7) is 2 mm longer than the inner ring (1), which creates a zone protecting the pre-perforated film (3) from coming into contact with the outside.
  • The top of the reservoir (6) has a lid (8) that protects the nozzle (9), which is lined with a protective mesh (10) so that if the pre-perforated film (3) comes away from the inner ring (1), it cannot be swallowed by the user.
  • 4. HOW TO USE THE INVENTION
  • The user inserts the twist and press opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck into the neck of the chosen recipient (bottle, demijohn) and when the neck comes into contact with the pre-perforated film (3), the film is broken by the user by twisting the neck of the recipient, also aided by the cutting zone (4) on the inner ring (1). After breaking the pre-perforated film (3) the substance put into the reservoir (6) beforehand is mixed with the liquid in the recipient with the threaded neck that the user has chosen.
  • Once the substances are dissolved, the user should position the recipient to tip liquid in the direction of the lid (8) so that through the nozzle (9), which is lined with a protective mesh (10), s/he may swallow the liquid.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
  • FIG. 1FIG. 1 shows an underneath view of the twist and push opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck, in which we can see the inner ring (1), where there is a zone for gluing (2) the pre-perforated film (3), a cutting zone (4); we also have the outer ring (5), the reservoir (6), where the substance to be mixed is stored and whose walls (11) are inclined at a gradient of 5 degrees; the continuation of the reservoir (6) has the overlap (7) that protects the pre-perforated film (3) from contact with any surface; on top of the reservoir (6) there is a lid (8) that protects the nozzle (9), which is lined with a protective mesh (10) so that if the pre-perforated film (3) comes away from the inner ring (1), it cannot be swallowed by the user.
  • FIG. 2FIG. 2 shows a cross-section of the twist and push opening system adaptable to any recipient with a threaded neck, consisting of the inner ring (1), the outer ring (5), a tub (6), the walls of the tub base (11), the overlap (7), the lid (8), the nozzle (9) and the protective mesh (10).
  • FIG. 3FIG. 3 shows a view from above of the pre-perforated film (3).
