Abstract

A shock-absorbing handle structure for a sports racquet includes a main core body. An outer surface of the main core body is partially or completely covered with a shock absorbing structure. The shock absorbing structure is made of an ETPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) material. The ETPU material is used as the shock absorbing structure. The shock absorbing structure is attached to the outer surface of the main core body, which has a simple structure. The ETPU material has a better elastic and rebound effect and improves the shock absorbing effect of the whole handle effectively. It is light in weight, and can improve the hand feeling and enhance the anti-slip effect and prevent sports injuries.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a sports racquet, and more particularly to a shock-absorbing handle structure for a sports racquet.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Badminton racquets, tennis racquets and pickleball paddles are sports equipment for ball games. In general, they are generally composed of a racquet head, a racquet rod, a racquet handle, and a neck portion connecting a racquet frame with a racquet rod. With the development of science and technology, the racquet design tends to a lighter weight, a harder frame, and a racquet rod with better elasticity.
  • However, the handles of the existing sports racquets on the market are not only complicated in structure, but also have poor shock absorbing effect and poor hand feeling. Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the drawbacks of the prior art, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a shock-absorbing handle structure for a sports racquet, which can effectively solve the problem that the handle structure of the conventional sports racquet is complicated and the shock absorbing effect is not ideal.
  • In order to achieve the above object, the present invention adopts the following technical solutions:
  • A shock-absorbing handle structure for a sports racquet comprises a main core body. An outer surface of the main core body is partially or completely covered with a shock absorbing structure. The shock absorbing structure is made of an ETPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) material.
  • Preferably, the shock absorbing structure includes at least one shock absorbing member and a shock absorbing cover. The shock absorbing member is attached to the outer surface of the main core body. The shock absorbing cover covers the shock absorbing member. The shock absorbing cover is simultaneously wound around the outer surface of the main core body.
  • Preferably, the shock absorbing member has a cylindrical shape. The shock absorbing member completely covers the outer surface of the main core body.
  • Preferably, the shock absorbing member is an arc-shaped structure. The outer surface of the main core body is partially covered with the shock absorbing member.
  • Preferably, the shock absorbing member includes a plurality of shock absorbing members that are evenly arranged and spaced apart from each other. A gap is defined between every adjacent two of the shock absorbing members.
  • Preferably, the main core body is a flat structure. The main core body and the shock absorbing member are superposed to form a cylindrical structure. The shock absorbing cover covers the cylindrical structure.
  • Preferably, the shock absorbing member is a hollow or solid structure.
  • Preferably, the shock absorbing structure is a shock absorbing cover wound around the outer surface of the main core body.
  • Alternatively, the shock absorbing structure is a shock absorbing member sleeved on the main core body.
  • The invention has obvious advantages and beneficial effects compared with the prior art, in particular, it can be known from the above technical solutions.
  • The ETPU material is used as the shock absorbing structure. The shock absorbing structure is attached to the outer surface of the main core body, which has a simple structure. The ETPU material has a better and rebound effect and improves the shock absorbing effect of the whole handle effectively. It is light in weight, and can improve the hand feeling and enhance the anti-slip effect and prevent sports injuries. It is beneficial for the user to hit a ball. The present invention may be applied to badminton racquets, tennis racquets, pickleball paddles, table tennis racquets, baseball bats, and golf clubs.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, there is shown a specific structure of a first embodiment of the present invention, comprising a main core body 10.
  • The outer surface of the main core body 10 is partially or completely covered with a shock absorbing structure 20. The shock absorbing structure 20 is made of an ETPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) material. The ETPU material is formed of E-TPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) foam granules (referred to as ETPU, ETPU granules or ETPU foam beads). The ETPU material has the advantages of excellent elastic and rebound effect and softness.
  • The main core body 10 is a hollow or solid structure. In this embodiment, it is a solid structure, but not limited thereto. The shock absorbing structure 20 includes a shock absorbing member 21 and a shock absorbing cover 22. The shock absorbing member 21 is attached to the outer surface of the main core body 10. The shock absorbing cover 22 covers the shock absorbing member 21. The shock absorbing cover 22 is simultaneously wound around the outer surface of the main core body 10 to fix the shock absorbing member 21 to the main core body 10 firmly, thereby achieving a better hand feeling. In this embodiment, the shock absorbing member 21 has a cylindrical shape. The shock absorbing member 21 completely covers the outer surface of the main core body 10. The shock absorbing member 21 is a hollow or solid structure.
  • When manufactured, the shock absorbing member 21 is first attached to the outer surface of the main core body 10, and then the shock absorbing cover 22 is wound around the shock absorbing member 21 to fix the shock absorbing member 21 to the main core body 10 firmly.
  • FIG. 3 illustrates a specific structure of a second embodiment of the present invention, which is substantially similar to the first embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter. The shock absorbing member 21 is an arc-shaped structure or other various shape structures. The outer surface of the main core body 10 is partially covered with the shock absorbing member 21. The shock absorbing member 21 includes a plurality of shock absorbing members that are evenly arranged and spaced apart from each other. A gap 201 is defined between every adjacent two of the shock absorbing members 21. In this embodiment, the number of the shock absorbing members 21 is two, but not limited thereto.
  • FIG. 4 illustrates a specific structure of a third embodiment of the present invention, which is substantially similar to the first embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter. In this embodiment, the number of the shock absorbing members 21 is three, and three gaps 201 are defined between the three shock absorbing members 21.
  • FIG. 5 illustrates a specific structure of a fourth embodiment of the present invention, which is substantially similar to the first embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter. The main core body 10 is a flat structure. The shock absorbing structure 20 includes at least one shock absorbing member 21. The main core body 10 and the shock absorbing member 21 are superposed to form a cylindrical structure. The shock absorbing cover 22 covers the cylindrical structure. In this embodiment, the shock absorbing structure 20 includes two shock absorbing members 21. The main core body 10 is sandwiched between the two shock absorbing members 21 to form a cylindrical structure.
  • In addition, it should be noted that the shock absorbing structure 20 may be a separate shock absorbing cover 22 wound around the outer surface of the main core body 10; or the shock absorbing structure 20 may be a separate shock absorbing member 21 sleeved on the main core body 10, which also provides a good shock absorbing effect.
  • The feature of the present invention is described below. The ETPU material is used as the shock absorbing structure. The shock absorbing structure is attached to the outer surface of the main core body, which has a simple structure. The ETPU material has a better elastic and rebound effect and improves the shock absorbing effect of the whole handle effectively. It is light in weight, and can improve the hand feeling and enhance the anti-slip effect and prevent sports injuries. It is beneficial for the user to hit a ball. The present invention may be applied to badminton racquets, tennis racquets, pickleball paddles, table tennis racquets, baseball bats, and golf clubs.
  • Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims (9)

1. A shock-absorbing handle structure for a sports racquet, comprising a main core body, an outer surface of the main core body being partially covered with a shock absorbing structure, the shock absorbing structure being made of an expanded thermoplastic polyurethane material, wherein the shock absorbing structure is formed with at least one void that exposes the outer surface of a part of the main core body and selectively receives the part of the main core body in the void.
2. The shock-absorbing handle structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shock absorbing structure includes at least one shock absorbing member and a shock absorbing cover, wherein the shock absorbing member is attached to the outer surface of the main core body, and the shock absorbing cover covers the shock absorbing member and also covers the outer surface of the part of the main core body that is exposed through or received in the at least one void.
3. The shock-absorbing handle structure as claimed in claim 2, wherein the shock absorbing member has a cylindrical shape, and the shock absorbing member partially covers the outer surface of the main core body.
4. The shock-absorbing handle structure as claimed in claim 2, wherein the shock absorbing member is an arc-shaped structure, and the outer surface of the main core body is partially covered with the shock absorbing member.
5. The shock-absorbing handle structure as claimed in claim 4, wherein the shock absorbing member includes a plurality of shock absorbing members that are evenly arranged and spaced apart from each other, and a gap is defined between every adjacent two of the shock absorbing members.
6. The shock-absorbing handle structure as claimed in claim 2, wherein the main core body is a flat structure, the main core body and the shock absorbing member are superposed to form a cylindrical structure, and the shock absorbing cover covers the cylindrical structure.
7. The shock-absorbing handle structure as claimed in claim 2, wherein the shock absorbing member is a solid structure.
8. The shock-absorbing handle structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shock absorbing structure is wound around the outer surface of the main core body.
9. The shock-absorbing handle structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shock absorbing structure is sleeved on the main core body.
