Abstract
A stepper exercise machine includes a machine body, a pedal linking rod, a pedal, a connecting assembly, a sliding rod, a sliding rod adjustment assembly, a connecting support, and a base. When in use, by adjusting the sliding rod adjustment assembly, the inclination angle of the sliding rod is adjusted, and the gradient for the pedal to be moved on the sliding rod is also adjusted, that is, the motion trajectory and exercise intensity of the stepper exercise machine is adjusted, thereby increasing the scope of use of the stepper exercise machine and meeting the diversified needs of the user.
Description
- The present invention relates to a stepper exercise machine, and more particularly to a stepper exercise machine capable of adjusting a motion trajectory
- Health is the most important thing for most people. Exercise and fitness is one of the important ways to maintain good health. Although people know the importance of exercise and fitness for physical health, sports spaces are often limited to gyms or outdoor spaces outside the home. The gym may be situated at a great distance. It is troublesome for going to the gym and coming back, resulting in a waste of time. Outdoor spaces are susceptible to weather. Therefore, there are various exercise machines on the market. People can enjoy exercise and fitness without leaving home. A stepper exercise machine simulates the motion trajectory of the feet, legs and body when people climb mountains, and is loved by many consumers.
- However, the motion trajectory of most stepper exercise machines is not adjustable. The user cannot make an adjustment according to his/her own physical needs and the physical needs of different fitness stages, so that the scope of use of the stepper exercise machine is limited and cannot meet the diversified needs of the user.
- Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems.
- The object of the present invention is to provide a stepper exercise machine capable of adjusting a motion trajectory. The stepper exercise machine of the invention solves the deficiencies in the prior art, and the motion trajectory of the stepper exercise machine is adjustable, thereby increasing the scope of use of the stepper exercise machine and meeting the diversified needs of the user.
- In order to achieve the above object, the present invention adopts the following technical solutions:
- A stepper exercise machine comprises a machine body, a pedal linking rod, a pedal, a connecting assembly, a sliding rod, a sliding rod adjustment assembly, a connecting support, and a base. The machine body is fixedly mounted to an upper portion of the connecting support. A lower portion of the connecting support is detachably connected to the base. One end of the pedal linking rod is detachably and rotatably connected to the machine body. Another end of the pedal linking rod is detachably connected to the pedal. The connecting assembly is fixedly mounted to a lower portion of the pedal linking rod and detachably connected to the sliding rod. The sliding rod adjustment assembly is fixedly mounted to the connecting support. One end of the sliding rod is pivotally connected to the connecting support. Another end of the sliding rod is movably connected to the sliding rod adjustment assembly.
- Preferably, the sliding rod adjustment assembly includes an adjusting base, a telescopic rod, and an adjusting knob. The telescopic rod is provided with an adjusting hole. The adjusting base is fixedly mounted to the connecting support. The telescopic rod is movably mounted in the adjusting base. One end of the sliding rod, facing the telescopic rod, is connected to an upper end of the telescopic rod to move with the telescopic rod. The adjusting knob is mounted to the adjusting base and movably engaged with the adjusting hole of the telescopic rod.
- Preferably, the end of the sliding rod, facing the connecting assembly, is provided with a contact piece, and the connecting assembly is movably connected to the contact piece.
- Preferably, the machine body includes a flywheel, a chain cover, and a transmission linking rod. The chain cover is fixedly mounted to the upper portion of the connecting support. The flywheel is installed at one end of the chain cover. One end of the transmission linking rod is rotatably connected to the flywheel, and another end of the transmission linking rod is detachably and rotatably connected to the pedal linking rod.
- Preferably, the connecting assembly includes a connecting housing and a pulley. One end of the connecting housing is fixedly mounted to the lower portion of the pedal linking rod. Another end of the connecting housing is rotatably connected to the pulley and movably connected to the sliding rod through the pulley. Two sides of the connecting housing, facing the sliding rod, are provided with a pair of stoppers. The sliding rod is located between the pair of stoppers. An end portion of one of the pair of stoppers, extending toward the sliding rod, is detachably mounted with a stop lever. A soft collar is sleeved on the stop lever.
- Preferably, the stepper exercise machine further comprises a swing arm and a swing arm linking rod. An outer lining member is sleeved on an upper portion of the swing arm. A middle portion of the swing arm is detachably and pivotally connected to an upper portion of the machine body. One end of the swing arm linking rod is detachably and rotatably connected to the pedal linking rod, and another end of the swing arm linking rod is rotatably connected to a lower portion of the swing arm.
- Preferably, the stepper exercise machine further comprises an armrest, an upright pole, and an electronic display screen. A lower end of the upright pole is detachably connected to the upper portion of the machine body. The armrest is detachably mounted to an upper portion of the upright pole. The electronic display screen is detachably mounted to a top of the upright pole and electrically connected to the machine body.
- Preferably, the armrest includes an armrest body and a slider. The slider is movably mounted to the upper portion of the upright pole. The armrest body is detachably connected to the slider.
- Preferably, the base is plural and provided with a moving wheel and a handle.
- After adopting the above solutions, the stepper exercise machine of the present invention is capable of adjusting a motion trajectory by providing a sliding rod adjustment assembly.
- When in use, by adjusting the sliding rod adjustment assembly, the sliding rod can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise around the pivot end between the connecting supports to achieve the purpose of adjusting the inclination angle of the sliding rod. By adjusting the inclination angle of the sliding rod, the gradient for the pedal to be moved on the sliding rod is also adjusted through the connecting assembly, that is, the motion trajectory of the stepper exercise machine is adjusted. As the inclination angle of the sliding rod is gradually increased, the gradient for the pedal to be moved on the sliding rod through the connecting assembly is also gradually increased, and correspondingly, the exercise intensity required for the stepper exercise machine is gradually increased. The user can adjust the stepper exercise machine according to his/her own physical needs and the physical needs of different fitness stages, thereby increasing the scope of use of the stepper exercise machine and meeting the diversified needs of the user.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. - Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 toFIG. 3 , a stepper exercise machine capable of adjusting a motion trajectory in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises amachine body 1, apedal linking rod 2, apedal 3, a connectingassembly 4, a slidingrod 5, a slidingrod adjustment assembly 6, a connectingsupport 7, and abase 8. Themachine body 1 is fixedly mounted to an upper portion of the connectingsupport 7. A lower portion of the connectingsupport 7 is detachably connected to thebase 8. One end of thepedal linking rod 2 is detachably and rotatably connected to themachine body 1, and another end of thepedal linking rod 2 is detachably connected to thepedal 3. The connectingassembly 4 is fixedly mounted to a lower portion of thepedal linking rod 2, and is detachably connected to the slidingrod 5. The slidingrod adjustment assembly 6 is fixedly mounted to the connectingsupport 7. One end of the slidingrod 5 is pivotally connected to the connectingsupport 7, and another end of the slidingrod 5 is movably connected to the slidingrod adjustment assembly 6. - The
machine body 1 includes aflywheel 11, a drive wheel, a chain, achain cover 12, and atransmission linking rod 13. Thechain cover 12 is fixedly mounted to the upper portion of the connectingsupport 7. Theflywheel 11 and the drive wheel are installed at two ends of thechain cover 12, respectively. Theflywheel 11 and the drive wheel are driven through the chain. One end of thetransmission linking rod 13 is rotatably connected to the drive wheel, and another end of thetransmission linking rod 13 is detachably and rotatably connected to thepedal linking rod 2. - The sliding
rod adjustment assembly 6 includes an adjustingbase 61, atelescopic rod 62, and an adjustingknob 63. Thetelescopic rod 62 is provided with an adjustinghole 621. The adjustingbase 61 is fixedly mounted to the connectingsupport 7. Thetelescopic rod 62 is movably mounted in the adjustingbase 61. One end of the slidingrod 5, facing thetelescopic rod 62, is connected to an upper end of thetelescopic rod 62 to move with thetelescopic rod 62. The adjustingknob 63 is mounted to the adjustingbase 61 and is movably engaged with the adjustinghole 621 of thetelescopic rod 62. - When in use, the user's two feet are on the two
pedals 3. At this time, the stepper exercise machine is in an initial state, one connectingassembly 4 is moved to the upper portion of the slidingrod 5, and the other connectingassembly 4 is moved to the lower portion of the slidingrod 5. After that, the user treads thepedal 3 that cooperate with the connectingassembly 4 on the upper portion of the slidingrod 5 alternately. When treaded, thepedal 3 located at the upper portion of the slidingrod 5 is moved toward the lower portion of the slidingrod 5 and thepedal 3 located at the lower portion of the slidingrod 5 is moved toward the upper portion of the slidingrod 5, which is done alternately. When treaded, thepedal linking rod 2 drives the drive wheel to rotate through thetransmission linking rod 13, and the drive wheel drives theflywheel 11 to rotate through the chain, so the user needs to overcome the damping of theflywheel 11 when treading. Continuous treading achieves the fitness goal. - The stepper exercise machine of the invention has the function of adjusting the motion trajectory. In use, the adjusting
knob 63 is pulled out to release the locking relationship between the adjustingknob 63 and the adjustinghole 621 of thetelescopic rod 62. Then, thetelescopic rod 62 can be adjusted upward or downward. When thetelescopic rod 62 is moved upward or downward, the slidingrod 5 coupled to the upper end of thetelescopic rod 62 can move upward or downward with thetelescopic rod 62, so that the slidingrod 5 can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise around the pivot end between the connectingsupports 7 to achieve the purpose of adjusting the inclination angle of the slidingrod 5. By adjusting the inclination angle of the slidingrod 5, the gradient for thepedal 3 to be moved on the slidingrod 5 is also adjusted through the connectingassembly 4, that is, the motion trajectory of the stepper exercise machine is adjusted. After the adjustment is completed, the adjustingknob 63 is inserted into the adjustinghole 621 of thetelescopic rod 62 by pressing the adjustingknob 63, so that the engagement between the adjustingknob 63 and thetelescopic rod 62 is achieved. As the inclination angle of the slidingrod 5 is gradually increased, the gradient for thepedal 3 to be moved on the slidingrod 5 through the connectingassembly 4 is also gradually increased, and correspondingly, the exercise intensity required for the stepper exercise machine is gradually increased. The user can adjust the stepper exercise machine according to his/her own physical needs and the physical needs of different fitness stages, thereby increasing the scope of use of the stepper exercise machine and meeting the diversified needs of the user. - The end of the sliding
rod 5, facing the connectingassembly 4, is provided with acontact piece 51. The connectingassembly 4 is movably connected to thecontact piece 51. By providing thecontact piece 51, it is possible to prevent the slidingrod 5 from directly engaging with the connectingassembly 4 to cause wear and damage of the slidingrod 5. After using a period of time, thecontact piece 51 is worn. Only thecontact piece 51 is replaced, thus reducing the maintenance cost of the stepper exercise machine. - The connecting
assembly 4 includes a connectinghousing 41 and apulley 42. One end of the connectinghousing 41 is fixedly mounted to the lower portion of thepedal linking rod 2, and another end of the connectinghousing 41 is rotatably connected to thepulley 42 and is movably connected to the slidingrod 5 through thepulley 42. - Two sides of the connecting
housing 41, facing the slidingrod 5, are provided with a pair ofstoppers 43. The slidingrod 5 is located between the pair ofstoppers 43. By providing thestoppers 43, it is possible to prevent left and right deflections of thepulley 42 during the movement of thepulley 42 on the slidingrod 5, thereby improving the use effect of the stepper exercise machine. - An end portion of one of the pair of
stoppers 43, extending toward the slidingrod 5, is detachably mounted with astop lever 44. By providing thestop lever 44, it is possible to prevent detachment of thepulley 42 during movement of thepulley 42 on the slidingrod 5, thereby improving the safety of the stepper exercise machine during use. - A
soft collar 45 is sleeved on thestop lever 44. By providing thesoft collar 45, it is possible to prevent abnormal sound generated when thestop lever 44 collides with the slidingrod 5. - The stepper exercise machine further includes a
swing arm 9 and a swingarm linking rod 10. A middle portion of theswing arm 9 is detachably and pivotally connected to an upper portion of thechain cover 12. One end of the swingarm linking rod 10 is detachably and rotatably connected to thepedal linking rod 2, and another end of the swingarm linking rod 10 is rotatably connected to a lower portion of theswing arm 9. - In use, the user can hold the
swing arm 9 when treading thepedal 3 to maintain the balance of the body, thereby improving the safety of the stepper exercise machine during use. Alternatively, the user can push and pull the upper portion of theswing arm 9 so that theswing arm 9 is turned on thechain cover 12, and the lower portion of theswing arm 9 can push and pull thepedal linking rod 2 through the swingarm linking rod 10 to assist thepedal 3 in moving back and forth on the slidingrod 5 through the connectingassembly 4. Pulling and pushing theswing arm 9 provides a fitness effect for the arm and the upper body. The motion of the upper and lower limbs can reduce the user's exercise intensity after continuous exercise, allowing the user's legs to relax without stopping the exercise. - An
outer lining member 91 is sleeved on an upper portion of theswing arm 9. Theouter lining member 91 is configured to improve the comfort of the user when holding the upper portion of theswing arm 9. - The stepper exercise machine further includes an
armrest 20 and anupright pole 30. A lower end of theupright pole 30 is detachably connected to an upper portion of thechain cover 12. Thearmrest 20 is detachably mounted to an upper portion of theupright pole 30. By providing thearmrest 20, the user can lean on thearmrest 20 for doing light exercise after continuous exercise, so that the body can rest, without stopping the exercise. - The
armrest 20 includes anarmrest body 201 and aslider 202. Theslider 202 is movably mounted to the upper portion of theupright pole 30. Thearmrest body 201 is detachably connected to theslider 202. In use, the height of thearmrest body 201 can be adjusted by adjusting the position of theslider 202 on theupright pole 30, so that thearmrest 20 of the stepper exercise machine is adaptable for users of different heights. In the process of transporting the stepper exercise machine, thearmrest body 201 can be detached from theslider 202 to be stored and packed, thereby reducing the packing volume of the stepper exercise machine and facilitating the transportation of the stepper exercise machine. - The stepper exercise machine further includes an
electronic display screen 40. Theelectronic display screen 40 is detachably mounted to the top of theupright pole 30 and electrically connected to themachine body 1. When in use, the user can know the speed of theflywheel 11, the exercise time and the calorie consumption through the electronic display screen, so that the user can know the information about his exercise and fitness at any time while using the stepper exercise machine for exercise and fitness. According to the relevant information, the user can make an adjustment for exercise and fitness to improve the efficiency of exercise and fitness. In the process of transporting the stepper exercise machine, theelectronic display screen 40 can be detached from theupright pole 30 to be stored and packed, thereby reducing the packing volume of the stepper exercise machine and facilitating the transportation of the stepper exercise machine. - The
base 8 is plural and provided with a movingwheel 81 and ahandle 82. In this embodiment, the movingwheel 81 is mounted to thebase 8 at the front end of the stepper exercise machine, and thehandle 82 is mounted to thebase 8 at the rear end of the stepper exercise machine. In use, the stepper exercise machine can be lifted from the ground with the movingwheel 81 as a fulcrum, so that the stepper exercise machine can be easily pushed through the movingwheel 81, thereby facilitating the movement of the stepper exercise machine. There is no need to perform the cumbersome operations of disassembly, removal and reinstallation for the stepper exercise machine when the stepper exercise machine needs to be moved. - The feature of the invention is that the stepper exercise machine of the invention has the function of adjusting the motion trajectory. As the inclination angle of the sliding
rod 5 is gradually increased, the gradient for thepedal 3 to be moved on the slidingrod 5 through the connectingassembly 4 is also gradually increased, and correspondingly, the exercise intensity required for the stepper exercise machine is gradually increased. The user can adjust the stepper exercise machine according to his/her own physical needs and the physical needs of different fitness stages, thereby increasing the scope of use of the stepper exercise machine and meeting the diversified needs of the user. - Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims
Claims (9)
1. A stepper exercise machine, comprising a machine body, a pedal linking rod, a pedal, a connecting assembly, a sliding rod, a sliding rod adjustment assembly, a connecting support and a base, the machine body being fixedly mounted to an upper portion of the connecting support, a lower portion of the connecting support being detachably connected to the base, one end of the pedal linking rod being detachably and rotatably connected to the machine body, another end of the pedal linking rod being detachably connected to the pedal, the connecting assembly being fixedly mounted to a lower portion of the pedal linking rod and detachably connected to the sliding rod, the sliding rod adjustment assembly being fixedly mounted to the connecting support, one end of the sliding rod being pivotally connected to the connecting support, another end of the sliding rod being movably connected to the sliding rod adjustment assembly.

The stepper exercise machine as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the sliding rod adjustment assembly includes an adjusting base, a telescopic rod and an adjusting knob, the telescopic rod is provided with an adjusting hole, the adjusting base is fixedly mounted to the connecting support, the telescopic rod is movably mounted in the adjusting base, one end of the sliding rod, facing the telescopic rod, is connected to an upper end of the telescopic rod to move with the telescopic rod, the adjusting knob is mounted to the adjusting base and movably engaged with the adjusting hole of the telescopic rod.
3. The stepper exercise machine as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the end of the sliding rod, facing the connecting assembly, is provided with a contact piece, and the connecting assembly is movably connected to the contact piece.

The stepper exercise machine as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the machine body includes a flywheel, a chain cover and a transmission linking rod, the chain cover is fixedly mounted to the upper portion of the connecting support, the flywheel is installed at one end of the chain cover, one end of the transmission linking rod is rotatably connected to the flywheel, and another end of the transmission linking rod is detachably and rotatably connected to the pedal linking rod.

The stepper exercise machine as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the connecting assembly includes a connecting housing and a pulley, one end of the connecting housing is fixedly mounted to the lower portion of the pedal linking rod, another end of the connecting housing is rotatably connected to the pulley and movably connected to the sliding rod through the pulley; two sides of the connecting housing, facing the sliding rod, are provided with a pair of stoppers, the sliding rod is located between the pair of stoppers; an end portion of one of the pair of stoppers, extending toward the sliding rod, is detachably mounted with a stop lever; and a soft collar is sleeved on the stop lever.

The stepper exercise machine as claimed in claim 1 , wherein further comprising a swing arm and a swing arm linking rod, an outer lining member being sleeved on an upper portion of the swing arm, a middle portion of the swing arm being detachably and pivotally connected to an upper portion of the machine body, one end of the swing arm linking rod being detachably and rotatably connected to the pedal linking rod, another end of the swing arm linking rod being rotatably connected to a lower portion of the swing arm.

The stepper exercise machine as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising an armrest, an upright pole and an electronic display screen, a lower end of the upright pole being detachably connected to an upper portion of the machine body, the armrest being detachably mounted to an upper portion of the upright pole, the electronic display screen being detachably mounted to a top of the upright pole and electrically connected to the machine body.
8. The stepper exercise machine as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the armrest includes an armrest body and a slider, the slider is movably mounted to the upper portion of the upright pole, and the armrest body is detachably connected to the slider.
9. The stepper exercise machine as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the base is plural and provided with a moving wheel and a handle.
