Abstract
The present disclosure provides a steam iron with an independent air suction system includes an ironing body. An air suction system is disposed on the ironing body. The air suction system includes an air suction structure, an electromotor, an impeller, a filter screen, an air outlet, an air inlet passage, a suction head, and a speed-control switch. The air suction structure is disposed on the ironing body. An inlet end of the air suction structure is connected to the air inlet passage via the filter screen.
Description
- The present disclosure relates to household electrical appliances, and in particular to a steam iron with an independent air suction system.
- Steam irons, having different shapes and heating principles, are on the market, however, there are only two ways to provide steam: a first way is that a chassis heats up, then water dripping onto the chassis generates steam due to heat of the chassis. A second way is that the chassis does not heat up, but the steam is generated via a steam supply and a built-in small water heater or a steam generator. The first way is used for water spray, dry ironing, and steam ironing. Ironing using the second way has a higher safety factor for people and clothing. It is safer and almost clothes are ironed well. However, it is necessary to cooperate with some auxiliary gadgets, ironing boards or pulling clothes by hand to effectively move the clothes close to a hot plate and a steam outlet. It is especially difficult to iron special parts such as a shoulder, collar, and sleeves, etc. In the process of pulling the clothes by the hand, there is a safety hazard that the hand is burnt by the hot chassis or high-temperature steam. And when ironing, you need a two-handed operation, which means there are skill requirements and user experience is not good. Therefore, those skilled in the art provides a steam iron with an independent suction system to overcome the above-mentioned problems in the prior art.
- The present disclosure provides a steam iron with an independent air suction system to overcome the above problem in the prior art.
- To achieve the above object, the present disclosure provides the following technical solutions:
- The steam iron with an independent suction system includes an ironing body. An air suction system is disposed on the ironing body. Ends of the air suction system and the ironing body are adsorption ironing area. A steam port and an air suction port are respectively disposed on the adsorption ironing area. The steam port and the air suction port are disposed in the same area. The air suction system includes an air suction structure, an electromotor, an impeller, a filter screen, an air outlet, an air inlet passage, a suction head, and a speed-control switch. The air suction structure is disposed on the ironing body. An inlet end of the air suction structure is connected to the air inlet passage via the filter screen. The suction head is disposed on an end of the air inlet passage.
- Furthermore, the ironing body includes a chassis heat iron, a chassis non-heating iron, and an iron generating steam via a steam supply and a built-in water heater or a steam generator.
- Furthermore, the electromotor, the filter screen, and the impeller are disposed inside the air suction structure. The electromotor drives the impeller to rotate.
- Furthermore, the impeller rotates around 20,000 to 40,000 revolutions per minute.
- Furthermore, the air suction structure has the air outlet. A dust screen is disposed in the air outlets.
- Furthermore, the speed-control switch is disposed on the air suction system. The speed-
control switch 18 has a plurality of gear positions. - Furthermore, working mode of the air suction system is detailed as follow:
- (1) The air suction system is opened, the air suction structure is operated, and the electromotor in the air suction structure is rotated and driven the impeller to rotate at a high speed;
- (2) The impeller rotates at the high speed to discharge the air in the air suction structure and forms an airflow pulling force in the suction head. The air of the suction head is continuously sucked into the air suction structure to form an adsorption for the clothes. The clothes are pulled to be close to the steaming head, straighten the clothes, and simply absorb the dirt on the clothes instead of the user hand;
- (3) The speed control switch adjusted the rotation speed of the impeller for different clothes and form the airflow pulling force with different sizes;
- (4) The air that has entered the air suction structure passes the filter screen and is discharged via the air outlet port.
- Compare with the prior art, the beneficial effect of the present disclosure as follow:
- 1. The present disclosure provides the steam iron with an independent air suction system, the independent air suction system is disposed on the original ironing body. The independent air suction system switches and adjustes the suction force according to the user requirement. When the air suction system is opened, a head end of the suction head in the air suction structure forms airflow pulling force with the different sizes. When ironing is performed, the suction heads instead of the user hand put the clothes close to steaming head, straighten the clothes and simply absorb the dirt on the clothes. The clothes are ironed smoothly and cleaned by the one-handed operation.
- 2. The present disclosure provides the steam iron with an independent air suction system, the electromotor in the air suction structure drives the impeller to rotate at the high speed for the air suction system. The air is discharged to an outside of the air suction structure through the air outlet at the high speed. The air adsorbed in a front end of the impeller constantly replenishes the air in the suction structure to cause the instantaneous vacuum of an inside of the suction head and forma negative pressure difference with external atmospheric pressure. Under the negative pressure difference, the high-speed airflow is generated to adsorb the clothes.
- 3. The present disclosure provides the steam iron with an independent air suction system, the dirt such as hairball, dust, etc on a surface of the clothes is cleaned during the adsorption process on the clothes. At the same time, the steam is used for high-temperature disinfection and removal mites of the clothes, dirt and mites are adsorbed via the filter screen and uniformly removed; The rotation speed of electromotor is adjusted by the speed switch to control the rotation speed of the impeller, thereby, adjusting the rotation speed to change the air suction force, and form the suction with different strengths to appropriately iron the clothes according to different material and thicknesses of the clothes.
- 4. The present disclosure provides the steam iron with an independent air suction system, the adsorption area and the steam injection area are disposed at the same position, thereby, the integrated of ironing and adsorption is realized.

The drawings are included to provide a further understanding of embodiments of the present disclosure, which form portions of the specification and are used to illustrate implementation manners of the present disclosure and are intended to illustrate operating principles of the present disclosure together with the description. Apparently, the drawings in the following description are merely some of the embodiments of the present disclosure, and those skilled in the art are able to obtain other drawings according to the drawings without contributing any inventive labor.

- Referring to
FIG. 1 toFIG. 3 , the present disclosure provides a steam iron with an independent suction system includes anironing body 2. The ironingbody 2 includes a chassis heat iron, a chassis non-heating iron, and an iron generating steam via a steam supply and a built-in water heater or a steam generator, etc. Anair suction system 1 is disposed on theironing body 2. Ends of theair suction system 1 and theironing body 2 areadsorption ironing area 3. Asteam port 31 and anair suction port 32 are respectively disposed on theadsorption ironing area 3. Thesteam port 31 and theair suction port 32 are disposed in the same area, thereby, the integrated of ironing and adsorption is realized. Theair suction system 1 can switch and adjust the suction force according to user requirement. When theair suction system 1 is opened, the airflow pulling force with different sizes is formed, and the clothes are sucked and pulled to the ironing chassis and a contact plate with steam jet head. Whenair suction system 1 is ironing, the clothes are pulled to be close to the steaming head which straightens the clothes, and simply absorbs the dirt on the clothes instead of a hand of a user. The clothes are ironed smoothly and cleaning without the auxiliary gadgets using a one-handed operation. - The
air suction system 1 includes anair suction structure 11, anelectromotor 12, animpeller 13, afilter screen 14, anair outlet 15, anair inlet passage 16, asuction head 17, and a speed-control switch 18. Theair suction structure 11 is disposed on theironing body 1. An inlet end of theair suction structure 11 is connected to theair inlet passage 16 via thefilter screen 14. Thesuction head 17 is disposed on an end of theair inlet passage 16. Theelectromotor 12, thefilter screen 14, and theimpeller 13 are respectively disposed inside theair suction structure 11. Theelectromotor 12 is rotated and connected with theimpeller 13. Theelectromotor 12 provides power to theair suction structure 11 and drives theimpeller 13 to rotate. Theimpeller 13 rotates around 20,000 to 40,000 revolutions per minute. And when absorbing the clothes to iron, mites on the clothes are sucked into thefilter screen 14, and poured out after use. Theair suction structure 11 has theair outlet 15. A dust screen is disposed in theair outlets 15. The speed-control switch 18 is disposed on theair suction system 11. The speed-control switch 18 has a plurality of gear positions, which adjusts rotation speed of theimpeller 13 to form a of different strengths suction to properly iron clothes with different material thicknesses. - Working mode of the
air suction system 1 is detailed as follow: - (1) The
air suction system 1 is opened, theair suction structure 11 is operated, and theelectromotor 12 in theair suction structure 11 is rotated and driven theimpeller 13 to rotate at a high speed; - (2) The
impeller 13 rotates at the high speed to discharge the air in theair suction structure 11 and forms an airflow pulling force in thesuction head 17. The air of thesuction head 17 is continuously sucked into theair suction structure 11 to form an adsorption for the clothes. The clothes are pulled to be close to the steaming head, straighten the clothes, and simply absorb the dirt on the clothes instead of the user hand; - (3) The
speed control switch 18 adjusted the rotation speed of theimpeller 13 for different clothes and form the airflow pulling force with different sizes; - (4) The air that has entered the
air suction structure 11 pass thefilter screen 14 and is discharged via theair outlet port 15. - The working principle of the present disclosure is detailed as follow.
- The present disclosure provides the steam iron with the independent air suction system. The independent
air suction system 1 is disposed on theoriginal ironing body 2. The independentair suction system 1 switches and adjusts the suction force according to the user requirement. When theair suction system 1 is opened, a head end of thesuction head 17 in theair suction structure 11 forms airflow pulling force with the different sizes. When ironing is performed, the suction heads 17 instead of the user hand put the clothes close to steaming head, straighten the clothes and simply absorb the dirt on the clothes. The clothes are ironed smoothly and cleaned by the one-handed operation. - The
electromotor 12 in theair suction structure 11 drives the impeller to rotate at the high speed for theair suction system 1. The air is discharged to an outside of theair suction structure 11 through theair outlet 15 at the high speed. The air adsorbed in a front end of theimpeller 13 constantly replenishes the air in thesuction structure 11 to cause the instantaneous vacuum of an inside of thesuction head 17 and forma negative pressure difference with external atmospheric pressure. Under the negative pressure difference, the high-speed airflow is generated to adsorb the clothes. - The adsorbed air is discharged from the machine through the
filter screen 14. The dirt such as hairball, dust, etc on a surface of the clothes is cleaned during the adsorption process on the clothes. At the same time, the steam is used for high-temperature disinfection and removal mites of the clothes, dirt and mites are adsorbed via the filter screen and uniformly removed. The rotation speed ofelectromotor 12 is adjusted by thespeed switch 18 to control the rotation speed of theimpeller 13, thereby, adjusting the rotation speed to change the air suction force, and form the suction with different strengths to appropriately iron the clothes according to different material and thicknesses of the clothes. The adsorption area and the steam injection area of the steam iron of the present disclosure are disposed at the same position, thereby, the integrated of ironing and adsorption is realized. - The mentioned above is only a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure, but the scope of the present disclosure is not limited to this. Any technical person skilled in the prior art within the technical scope disclosed by the present disclosure. Equivalent substitutions or modifications of the technical solutions of the present disclosure are intended to be included within the scope of the present disclosure.
Claims (6)
1. A steam iron with an independent air suction system, comprising:
an ironing body;
wherein the air suction system is disposed on the ironing body, ends of the air suction system and the ironing body are an adsorption ironing area; a steam port and an air suction port are respectively disposed on the adsorption ironing area; the steam port and the air suction port are disposed in a same area; the air suction system comprises an air suction structure, an electromotor, an impeller, a filter screen, an air outlet, an air inlet passage, a suction head, and a speed-control switch; the air suction structure is disposed on the ironing body, an inlet end of the air suction structure is connected to the air inlet passage via the filter screen; the suction head is disposed on an end of the air inlet passage.
2. The steam iron with an independent air suction system according to claim 1 , wherein the ironing body comprises a chassis heat iron, a chassis non-heating iron, and an iron generating steam via a steam supply and a built-in water heater or a steam generator.
3. The steam iron with an independent air suction system according to claim 1 , wherein the electromotor, the filter screen, and the impeller are disposed inside the air suction structure; the electromotor drives the impeller to rotate.
4. The steam iron with an independent air suction system according to claim 3 , wherein the impeller rotates around 20,000 to 40,000 revolutions per minute.
5. The steam iron with an independent air suction system according to claim 1 , wherein the air suction structure has the air outlet; a dust screen is disposed in the air outlets.
6. The steam iron with an independent air suction system according to claim 1 , wherein the speed-control switch is disposed on the air suction system; the speed-control switch has a plurality of gear positions.
