The invention is a device that converts any article like jewelry (necklace, bracelet, choker, anklet etc) or material into a different form and use like hair band and belt etc.

    BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • A device that alters the use and form of an article to a different form and use article and then back to the original article form and use. For example, the device can be used to convert a necklace into a functional hair band or a belt or a nonfunctional crown band than when the devise is removed the necklace can serve its original function or be at its original state. The same article can be converted at least once to a functional item excluding the original use but on average can be converted to at least two functional uses and at least one non function use. However, more form and use functions are possible. For example, a chain bracelet or strip of material using the device can be converted into a form and function of a hair band, crown band, choker, thigh band, belt and anklet. When the device is removed from the bracelet or strip of material the original state or form and use of the article is restored with no damage to the original article.

  • PRIOR ART
  • Necklace extenders have a singular purpose used to extend the length of the necklace and not to shorten it. The extenders themselves are normally metal and are not further adjustable.
  • Garment clips has a singular purpose. Industry practice is the strap has short length to cinch the garment at the back to make it fit correctly. The strap does not have any adjustable item to lengthen the straps as it is not required to accomplish the task. Additionally, the clips are not interchangeable to accommodate a different type of article. The straps are usually decorated or have ornamentation making it the central piece of focus. However, my device is designed to have the central focus the article that it is holding.
  • Clip Pacifiers only have a singular purpose and only has the clip on one end and the pacifier on the other end.
  • Suspenders clips does allow interchangeability of the straps but the clips are fixed. Since the clips are fixed to accommodate fabric only it is not suitable to accommodate other articles. The suspenders themselves are not marketed where two different articles can be accommodated. The length of the suspenders hinders the same strap to convert a necklace, for example, to a hair band or a belt etc.
  • Bed sheet suspender clips are adjustable but the action parts to hold the article is not interchangeable based on the suitably of the article because it's purpose is only to hold in place bed sheets. The aesthetic appeal, softness to touch of the webbing is not considered as it will be hidden in the mattress.
  • Beauty face sheet masks are used when someone is laying in the horizontal position or almost horizontal angle to prevent the face sheet mask from sliding off the face. This limits the user of the face beauty sheet mask to only use the sheet masks when laying down and limiting the body movement as well.
  • Removable Jewelry straps for garments only have that singular use for the garment. The straps are not interchangeable or the action parts.
  • Jewelry hair bands, crown bands and chokers by retailers now come with the adjustable bra sliders but the strap and bra slider are permanently attached to the article: Jewelry hair bands, crown bands and chokers for example.
  • Jewelry hair bands come with ties permanently attached to the ends. So ties cannot be used with any other article other than the article it is attached to. The finish of the ties may not be appealing as the hair normally will hide the ties. The ties also may not be long enough for certain circumferences therefore not interchangeable to certain functions and form.
  • Jewelry belts are normally one continuous length and it cannot be shortened without my devise to convert into a hair band.
  • The clips with straps in the market are all singular use and are only optimized for that use.
  • Retail Jewelry like necklaces, bracelets, chokers, anklets do not come with any devise that can convert these articles into a different form or functional use.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Part 15 can be made of any flexible or rigid item that has any width, length, any shape (includes single strand, double strand, chord, chain, strip etc.) and any item can have stretch properties or no stretch properties.
  • The preferred part 15 is made of a bra elastic strap referred to as bra strap, with a width of 1.5 cm and length of 15 cm but can also extend up to 30 cm due to an adjustable part.
  • The first end of the bra strap, forms a closed permanent loop over part 14-1 a center bar FIG. 1B of the preferred part 14 bra slider and permanently attaches back onto the bra strap by sewing back stitches, transfer stitch, or heat set 1 cm away from the slider center bar, with an bra strap allowance of 0.5 cm after the sewing. With one end secured, see FIG. 1A, FIG. 1C, the other elastic material can continue through the opening of part 10BHR bra hook and around the bra hook arm at part 10BHR-1 of the bra hook. Then it loops back to the slider entering the slider from the back opening then going over the center bar of the slider and the looped elastic, back down through the second slider opening space and continues through the opening and around the opposite bra hook part 10BHL and at bra arm part 10BHL-1. Then loops back 2 cm before being permanently attached by back stitch sewing or heat set on to the elastic material leaving an allowance of 1 cm after the sewing. This alternate combination of the bra strap with the bra hooks on opposite ends and the slider moving along the elastic material will be referred to as the embodiment. The connectors of this embodiment to the action part are the bra hook.
  • Apart from the natural extension capabilities of the bra strap, the length of the bra strap can also be adjusted by moving the bra slider FIG. 2A, FIG. 2B along the bra strap. The bra slider can be made of any rigid material, size, shape length or width and have any plain or decorative cover. FIG. 2D, FIG. 2E shows the bra slider with a cover made of plastic or metal concealing the slider mechanism operating inside. The bra strap is shortened or lengthened by moving the bra slider along the bra strap. The preferred bra slider is a coated painted metal, located on the bra strap and is the same width as the bra strap. The length of the slider is 11 mm and width is 18 mm.
  • Other alternatives too creating an adjustable length are shown in FIG. 2F, FIG. 2G, FIG. 2H, FIG. 2I, FIG. 2J, FIG. 2K. For example, FIG. 2G shows perspective view of a two-way elastic material extended from part 14A housing case. The sectional view of the housing case shown in FIG. 2H shows a housing divided into two sections 14L and 14R evenly. The respective sections in the housing has part 15R-1 bra strap right, rolled up and part 15L-2 bra strap left rolled up. Both elastic materials extend in opposite directions from the housing case. The elastic material is attached by either being sewn or glued to a tightly wound part 14SR, 14SL spring that draws the elastic material into the housing when there is no tension. The elastic material passes through the opening 14L, 14R via a part 14C channel which reorients the tape to lay flat on the body when leaving the housing openings.
  • Both ends of the preferred bra strap are attached permanently/directly, or temporary/partially/indirectly to a connector. The connector intern permanently/directly, or temporary/partially/indirectly connects to a part that can be rigid or flexible and is referred generally as an action part. An action part makes the connection to the flexible or rigid article possible.
  • The action part can be made of any shape, size, length, width and material. The action part can also have a nonfunctional decorative, pattern, or ornamentation piece FIG. 7A, part 6, 6-1 to enhance the aesthetic look of the action part.
  • Further the action part can permanently or temporary attach to the connector that is connected to the bra strap. Example of a temporary connection of the action part is shown in FIG. 1A, FIG. 1B, FIG. 1C, FIG. 1D, FIG. 1E, FIG. 1F. This picture shows the bra strap first attached to the bra hook. This bra hook facilitates the attachment of the action parts. The looped material base part 12R, 12L of the different action parts and the bar hook of the embodiment allows for the interchangeability of the action parts. The interchangeability is shown in FIG. 1A part 20F, 20E-1, FIG. 1C part 16, 16-1, FIG. 1E part 18, 18-1 etc. as needed.
  • FIG. 4A, FIG. 4B, FIG. 4C, FIG. 4E, FIG. 4G, FIG. 4H, FIG. 4J, shows examples connectors permanently attached to the bra strap and action parts or the action part attached directly to the bra strap. For example FIG. 4D; FIG. 4E shows action part 16, part 16-1, FIG. 4A, FIG. 4B, FIG. 4C part 20, part 20-1 etc. attached to the bra strap by way of a ridge in the action part that has the bra strap held together by rivet, screw, gluing etc. or any other mechanism and or, combination, thereof. FIG. 4G, FIG. 4H shows an example of the bra strap creating a permanent loop around the arm of the action part 18, 18-1
  • The interchangeability of the different action parts creates the versatility of the action part function and use with different articles. Additionally, it creates the opportunity of the utilization of the same bra strap with different action parts or different bra straps for the same action part.
  • Some examples of an interchangeable action parts are shown in FIG. 3A, FIG. 3B, FIG. 3C, FIG. 3D, FIG. 3E, FIG. 3F, FIG. 3G, FIG. 3H. For example, FIG. 3A shows a T rail track connector, see FIG. 3B. Part 10TR attaches permanently to the bra strap and the interchangeable action parts 16T, part 16T-1, part 18T, part 18-1, part 20T, part 20T-1 have a T shaped base, see FIG. 3C, that can slide unto the T rail track and can be interchanged with the right action part as needed. One side of the T rail track is closed so the T action part to prevent it from sliding off. The other side of the T rail track can be closed by a flip lock etc. to hold the T action part in place while in use.
  • The type of action part determines the appropriate article. The action part can have the capability for one, or more of the following action functions: latch, clip, grab, fasten, hold, clamp, hook, etc. onto any necklace, bracelet or any material like leather, fabric, webbing, trims, ornamentation, decoration etc.
  • One example of an action part is a hook to facilitate hooking onto objects. The hook can be any size including the hook opening or, it can be any shape like a fish hook, wire hook, thumb hook, snap hook, U hook, L shaped hook, the hook can be narrow enough to hook the chain of a necklace and also have a swivel snap to close etc. and made of any rigid material. Additionally, the inside and teeth of the hook can be coated with rubber to protect the objects it's hooking onto.
  • An example of a hook action part that encompasses any hook is action parts 20F, 20E-1. For this demonstration action part hook 20-20F will be a curved back hook FIG. 1C. The hook curves back towards itself to keep the hook opening as close to the embodiment and body as possible. The hook is 2 cm long on the flat side, radius 0.6 cm, curved back and extends 1.5 cm, thickness 0.1 cm and width 1.5 cm. The hook has an opening 1.3 cm by 0.2 cm and made of metal surgical stainless steel with a smooth surface and no additional ornamentation or decoration. Around the arm opening of the curved back hook is an bra strap forming a continuous loop with a circumference of 2 cm. The continuous elastic loop of part 20F, 20E-1 secures onto the bra hook of the embodiment.
  • A different example of an action part is the action part that is identical to the closures of any necklace in the market and functions as such. The action part 16 can be a lobster claw, O Ring, spring, magnet, barrel, etc. while part 16-1 is the opposite closure. The action part 16 and 16-1, is made of any rigid material. The action parts 16 and part 16-1 can also fasten, onto each other in case the length needs to be extended beyond the maximum capacity of the slider and the natural stretch of the bra strap FIG. 2J
  • The action part FIG. 1D, part 16, part 16-1 is made of stainless-steel metal. The size is based on the necklace closure sizes and type in the market.
  • A different action part, Part 18 and 18-1 is a clip which includes suspender clips, lanyard clips, any cam buckles, pacifier clips, any clip etc. can fasten, grab, close and hold onto webbing, strips of fabric some necklace chains, some necklace ornamentation when the necklace is left open or when the necklace is closed. However, please note depending on the jewelry there are other more appropriate action parts like using part 16, part 16-1. The cam buckles can both function as an action part as well as as holding the bra strap. Part 18 and 18-1 can be any size, shape, width, length and made out of any rigid material. The preferred action part Part 18 and 18-1 material is stainless steel metal and is 2 cm long and 1 cm wide.
  • The inside teeth of this action part clip can be lined with rubber to protect the item that it is gripping. The front grip, example lanyard clip, can have gap to prevent the clip teeth from damaging the chain or fishing line but holding the rest of the necklace. The clips can have further protrusions or hollows/ridges to facilitate holding, The ridge or valley on the base of the jaw or top of the jaw also allows the excess article such as the chain and or material to be stuffed and not hang out of the jaws for a clean look. The ridges or hollow or valley can also have hooks or further catchment to hold the article. For special shapes like pearls, the inside jaws of the clips can take the shape of the jewelry creating holes of the same size to accommodate this shape and to facilitate the jaws touching when they close without damaging the jewelry. The action parts can also fasten, latch onto each other in case the length needs to be extended beyond the maximum capacity created by the slider and the natural stretch of the bra strap, FIG. 2K
  • The preferred device, see FIG. 8A, FIG. 8B, FIG. 8C, FIG. 8D is the elastic material strap that removably connects to the side squeeze buckle part 24 and part 24-1, respectively, by means of a D ring with snap swivel. The connector in this case is the side squeeze buckle part 24 and part 24-1 and housing compartment cavity, part 26H. The preferred action part can be any length and width but the preferred action part width is 16.5 mm, length 42 mm length has a housing compartment cavity length 7 mm by width 16.5 mm and 10 mm deep. The walls 2 mm thick and central wall 2 mm that divides the housing compartment cavity part 26H, 16.5 mm exactly in half. The squeeze buckle part 24 and part 24-1 allows interchangeability of different action parts clip 18 and 18-1, hook 20 and 20-1, action part jewelry closure 16 and 16-1. Action part 18 and action part 18-1 is any clip any size, length with, shape. The arrangement of part 15, part 24 and part 24-1 with any action part with part 26H is called the device.
  • Operations
  • The devise can change the function use and form of any flexible article with two open ends such as jewelry (necklace, choker, bracelet, anklet etc.). The jewelry can have any closure, chain type, ornamentation and length. The devise can also change the function use and form of any material or combination of materials, decoration or combination of decoration, ornaments or combination of ornaments. The device can also change the function use and form of any flexible article that is circular or rigid that does not exceed the diameter circumference of the body part. The device has interchangeable action parts and that can accommodate and fit the appropriate article. For this demonstration the article that we will use is a necklace. Via the different action parts the device can attach directly to the necklace by either connecting directly with the necklace lobster claw O ring closure, barrel, magnetic closure, S shape closure, O-spring closure etc. This state where the device attaches directly to the closures of any necklace, see FIG. 5E, is referred to as necklace continuous open state shown in FIG. 5C, before the attachment. The other position is when the necklace is closed, see FIG. 5A, i.e. for example, the necklace lobster claw is fastened onto the O ring of the same necklace. This state of any necklace closure is called the continuous closed state shown. When the necklace is in the continuous closed state the device can either hook, grab, clip, latch, clamp etc. onto the necklace chain, the necklace ornaments, etc., See FIG. 5G
  • The necklace selected for this operation has a lobster claw and O-ring closure. The user can use the necklace when it is a continuous closed loop state, or the necklace can be used in its continuous open state depending on the desired end look.
  • When using the necklace in its closed loop state, prepare the embodiment by first selecting the appropriate action part. For this example, use action part 20F, 20-1F, represented in this example by the curved back hook, see FIG. 1C. To begin, hook the looped elastic material of part 20F, 20-1F base onto the bra hook of the embodiment at part 10BHR-2, 10BHL-2 respectively shown in FIG. 1A. Then, locate where the continuous closed necklace creates a U shape when freely dangled. At this point, hook the curved back hook onto the necklace U section. Position the necklace, with the desired necklace section resting on the crown head if the desired look is a head band or hair band shown in FIG. 6B, or the forehead, if the desired look is head crown shown in FIG. 6D, FIG. 5B. In this example, the desired look is a head band so rest the necklace on the head with the curved back hook action part embodiment hanging over one side of the head. Sweep the hair up off the shoulders and pass the embodiment above the neck around the upper back neck area, just along the hairline and hook the opposite curved back hook at the opposite U shape created by the necklace.
  • If the newly created hair band is loose, adjust to the head size by shortening the devise by grabbing with one hand the slider and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. This action will shorten the elastic material to fit on to the head. If the head band is too tight, you can slide the slider towards the right side with the other hand pulling the elastic material in the opposite direction increasing the length to the desired comfort level.
  • Selecting the preferred device, FIG. 8D, attach the D ring with swivel snap, part 24 and 24-1, by slipping the loop 12 R and 12 L of part 12 through swivel snap 24RS and 24LS of part 24, 24-1 and close part 24RS and 24LS swivel snap. Then select any desired action part. For this demonstration, the action part will be a pacifier clip, part 18, 18-1. Slide part 24 and 24-1 squeeze buckle into the back of the housing compartment cavity part 26H, of action part 18 and 18-1, pacifier clip, until it clicks in place. Part 26H of the action part as well as the squeeze buckle is the key connector to the action parts. Just like the bra hook is the connector, T Track is the connector, handbag hardware closures can be converted to be the connectors like the center squeeze buckle etc.
  • Then locate where the continuous closed necklace creates a U shape when freely dangled. At this point, attach the removable pacifier clip part 18 by opening the jaws and closing the jaws on to the U section of the necklace. Position the necklace, with the desired necklace section resting on the crown head if the desired look is a head band shown in FIG. 6B, or the forehead, if the desired look is head crown shown in FIG. 6D. In this example, the desired look is a head band so rest the necklace on the head with the pacifier clip part 18 device hanging over one side of the head. Sweep the hair up off the shoulders and pass the embodiment above the neck around the upper back neck area, just along the hairline and hook the opposite pacifier clip part 18-1 device at the opposite U shape created by the necklace.
  • Adjust the tightness or looseness by adjusting the said bra strap with buckle to desired comfort. To create a belt with action part 20F, 20E-1, with any necklace in the continuous closed position. Prepare by slipping the looped elastic material base of part 20F over the bra hook at part 10BHR-2 of the bra hook of one side of the embodiment. Then use part 20E-1 and slip the elastic material base over the opposite bra hook at part 10BHL-2 of the bra hook of the embodiment. Then identify where the continuous closed necklace creates a U shape when freely dangled. Or, when freely dangled at the necklace closure locate the opposite U section created. At this U section point, use action part 20F to hook onto the necklace U section. Then position the necklace with the attached embodiment and action part around the front body of the waist with the necklace prominently in the center of the front body waist. Pass along the back of the body waist the embodiment with part 20E-1. Locate the opposite U shape section of the necklace and use action part 20E-1 to hook onto this U section. This will close the loop around the waist.
  • If the newly created belt is loose, adjust to the desired waist size by shortening the devise by grabbing with one hand the slide and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. This will shorten the elastic material to fit on to the waist. If the belt is too tight, you can slide the slider towards the right side with the other hand pulling the elastic material in the opposite direction increasing the length to the desired comfort level.
  • To create a belt using the preferred device, FIG. 8D. Attach the D ring with swivel snap, part 24 and 24-1, by slipping the loop 12 R and 12 L of part 12 through swivel snap 24RS and 24LS of part 24, 24-1 and close part 24RS and 24LS swivel snap. Then select the action part. For this demonstration the action part will be hook, part 20, 20-1. Slide part 24 and 24-1 buckle side into the back of the housing compartment cavity part 26H, of part 20 and 20-1, hook, until it clicks in place.
  • Identify where the continuous closed necklace creates a U shape when freely dangled. Or, when freely dangled at the necklace closure locate the opposite U section created. At this U section point, attach any action part. However, for this example latch the hook action part 20 to attach onto the necklace U section. Then position the necklace with the attached device and action part around the front body of the waist with the necklace prominently in the center of the front body waist. Pass along the back of the body waist the devise with action part 20-1. Locate the opposite U shape section of the necklace and use action part 20-1 to hook onto this U section. This will close the loop around the waist.
  • If the newly created belt is loose, adjust to the desired waist size by shortening the devise by grabbing with one hand the slide and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. This will shorten the elastic material to fit on to the waist. If the belt is too tight, you can slide the slider towards the right side with the other hand pulling the elastic material in the opposite direction increasing the length to the desired comfort level.
  • Another option for a headband, shown in FIG. 6F on body and FIG. 5D without human body using the action parts 16, part 16-1. Using a necklace with a lobster claw, O ring closure for this demonstration, not fastened onto itself, therefore a necklace the continuous open state. Choose the action part that replicates the type of actual necklace closure, which in this example is a necklace closure with a lobster claw and O ring closure. Therefore, the chosen action part is lobster claw action part 16 and an O ring action part 16-1. However, if the necklace has a spring, magnet, barrel, etc. closures the action part, part 16 and part 16-1 would be a spring closure, magnet closure, barrel closure, etc. respectively.
  • To begin, slip the looped elastic material base of the lobster claw action part over the part 10BHR-2 of the bra hook of the embodiment. Then slip the elastic material base of the O-ring action part over the opposite bra hook at the bra hook part 10BHL-2 of the embodiment. This completed assembly is now ready for the next step. Once the appropriate action parts closures are hooked/fastened onto the embodiment, wrap the necklace several times round the crown of the head until you can no longer wrap it around to create your decorative headband. Adjust the necklace so that the necklace lobster and o ring closure are facing towards the back of the head. Using the embodiment lobster claw closure action part, fasten onto the O-ring of the necklace closure that is wrapped around the head. Then close the loop by fastening the embodiment 0 ring closure action part onto the lobster closure of the necklace. Alternatively, before you wrap the necklace around the head you can fasten the embodiment lobster claw closure action part onto the necklace O-ring closure so that when you have wrapped the necklace you only need to close the loop by fastening the necklace lobster claw on to the embodiment O-ring.
  • Adjust the head band to fit by shortening or lengthening the embodiment. To shorten, grab with one hand the slip and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. This will shorten the elastic material to fit on to the head.   • To create a belt shown in FIG. 6H, FIG. 6I, use the necklace lobster and O ring closure in the continuous open state. Begin by hooking the looped elastic material base of part 16, 16-F onto the bra hook at part 10BHR-2 and 10BHL-2 of the embodiment respectively. Once the appropriate action parts closures are hooked onto the embodiment, fasten the embodiment lobster claw closure action part onto the necklace O-ring closure. Place the necklace and the embodiment with the action parts around the front waist area of the body leaving the embodiment with the O ring action part dangling from one side. With one hand holding the necklace in position around the waist, the other hand can grab the dangling end of the necklace with the embodiment and action part and pass it along the back of the body and fasten the embodiment 0 ring action part side onto the necklace lobster claw closure closing the loop shown in FIG. 6I

With one hand holding the necklace in position around the waist, the other hand can grab the dangling end of the necklace with the devise and action part and pass it along the back of the body and fasten the device O ring action part side onto the necklace lobster claw closure closing the loop shown in FIG. 6I.

Once the appropriate action parts closures are hooked, use the action part lobster claw now attached to the embodiment to latch onto the necklace O ring closure. Then wrap the necklace and the attached embodiment and actions parts several times round the wrist until you can no longer wrap it around making sure you begin the wrapping process with the necklace end first. Then close the loop by latching the embodiment O ring action part closure onto the lobster closure of the necklace.
  • Adjust the wrist to fit by shortening or lengthening the embodiment. To shorten the devise, grab with one hand the slider and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. Then use the elastic material base of the O ring action part to slip over the opposite bra hook of the embodiment. Then wrap the necklace and the attached embodiment several times round the anklet until you can no longer wrap it around making sure you begin the wrapping process with the necklace end.   • To create a headband, using action part 18 and 18-1 shown in FIG. 6G, with any necklace in the continuous closed state, start by slipping the looped elastic material base of part 18 over the bra hook at part 10BHR-2 of one side of the embodiment. Then use part 18-1 and slip the elastic material base over the opposite bra hook at part 10BHL-2 of the bra hook of the embodiment. Using any necklace in the continuous closed state which can have any closure, identify where the continuous closed necklace creates a U shape when freely dangled. Or, when freely dangled at the necklace closure locate the opposite U section created. At this U section, fasten Part 18 onto the necklace U section by squeezing the ends of part 18 to open the jaws and then letting go at the identified U section to clip the embodiment with the action part onto the necklace. Position the necklace, with the desired necklace section resting on the crown head if the desired look is a head band, or the forehead, if the desired look is head crown. In this example, the desired look is a head band so rest the necklace on the head with part 18 hanging over one side of the head.
  • Sweep the hair up off the shoulders and pass the embodiment with the action part 18-1 above the neck around the upper back neck area, just along the hairline and fasten the other end of action part 18-1 of the embodiment at the opposite U shape created by the necklace.
  • If the newly created hair band is loose, adjust to the head size by shortening the devise by grabbing with one hand the slider and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. This will shorten the elastic material to fit on to the head. If the head band is too tight, you can slide the slider towards the right side with the other hand pulling the elastic material in the opposite direction increasing the length to the desired comfort level.
  • You can create a different head band with any necklace with any closure when the necklace is in the continuous open state shown in FIG. 6A. For this example, a necklace closure with a lobster claw and O ring closure is chosen. Prepare by slipping the looped elastic material base of part 18 over the bra hook at part 10BHR-2 of one side of the embodiment. Then use part 18-1 and slip the elastic material base over the opposite bra hook at part 10BHL-2 of the embodiment. Open and close the clip of the action part 18 to fasten onto the necklace lobster claw closure. Wrap the necklace with the attached embodiment and action parts around the head then clip to fasten action part 18-1 into the opposite side of the necklace O ring closure to close the loop.
  • Adjust the head band to fit by shortening or lengthening the embodiment. To shorten the devise, grab with one hand the slider and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. Clip to fasten action part 18 of the embodiment onto one side of the necklace closure, which for this example is the lobster claw closure end. Then position the necklace with the attached embodiment and action parts around the front body of the waist with the necklace prominently in the center of the body waist. Pass along the back of the body waist the embodiment with action part 18-1 and fasten the reverse open end of the necklace which is the O ring closure to close the loop around the body waist.

Clip to fasten action part 18, attached to the embodiment, to one side of the necklace closure either the lobster claw closure or O-ring closure. In this example the lobster claw closure was selected. Position the necklace with the embodiment and action part around the wrist and wrap around till you cannot wrap any longer. Then use action part 18-1 to grab the reverse end of the necklace closure to close the loop around the wrist. In this example, the opposite necklace closure is the O ring.
  • Adjust the wrist to fit by shortening or lengthening the embodiment. To shorten the devise, grab with one hand the slider and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. This will shorten the elastic material to fit on to the wrist.   • To create a decorative anklet band, in this example it is a necklace lobster and O ring claw closure. Prepare by slipping the looped elastic material base of part 18 over the bra hook at part 10BHR-2 of one side of the embodiment. Clip to fasten action part 18 now attached to the embodiment onto one side of the necklace lobster claw closure. Position the necklace and embodiment with the action part around the anklet and wrap around until you can no longer warp around. Then close the loop by clipping action part 18-1 to fasten the opposite end of the necklace closure, which in this example is the O ring closure to close the loop around the anklet. This process can be followed for any other body part.
  • Adjust the anklet to fit by shortening or lengthening the embodiment. To shorten the devise, grab with one hand the slider and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. This will shorten the elastic material to fit on to the head.   • To create ankle band, using the preferred device see FIG. 8D. For this example, action part 18 and 18-1 is the pacifier clip.

Then close the loop by clipping action part 18-1 to fasten the opposite end of the necklace closure, which in this example is the O ring closure to close the loop around the anklet. This process can be followed for any other body part.
  • Adjust the anklet to fit by shortening or lengthening the embodiment. To shorten the devise, grab with one hand the slider and pull it towards the left side while grabbing the single layer elastic material and pulling in the opposite direction. This will shorten the elastic material to fit on to the head. If the head band is too tight, you can slip the slider towards the right side with the other hand pulling the elastic material in the opposite direction increasing the length to the desired comfort level.
  • Alternate Apparatus
  • While my above description contains many specificities, these should not be construed as limitations on the scope, but rather as an explification of several preferred devices and embodiments where many other variations are possible.
  • FIG. 2F shows a toggle method, when squeezed together, the top of the plunger, part 10, and the bottom aligns the shaft opening. This releases the tension for the cord to freely move around shaft opening. Once part 10 is released, the tension is engaged by the spring pushing the plunger part 10 and the cord stays in place. The cord has the jewelry action parts on the end that can be permanent or can be swapped.
  • FIG. 2I shows the bra strap split into two. Where the middle is opened and closed by a luggage clip. Both ends of the luggage clip are double strands so that they can be adjusted. The clip buckle can also be replaced by a ratchet type closure. The opposite ends of the bra strap functions the same as the embodiment in FIG. 1A, FIG. 1B, FIG. 1C, FIG. 1D, FIG. 1E, FIG. 1F. Another example of the elastic material split into is shown in FIG. 4E etc. FIG. 2I also shows a different way of extending the straps using luggage, handbag mechanism. Or another squeeze buckle with strap can be added in between to extend the embodiment.
  • FIG. 4L shows a different embodiment where the strap material passes through the U-shaped section of the closed necklace and then fastens on to itself by button etc.
  • FIG. 3F shows an embodiment with a chain and detachable action parts. FIG. 4I shows a chain with permanent action part etc.

  • FIG. 4J shows an example of a different alternative. The elastic material has along its length a bra slider and a bra hook on one side. The other end of the elastic material ends in a loop. This devise passes though both U shaped ends of the closed necklace. The hook then hooks onto the elastic material loop end to close the loop. Once closed the bra slider can be used to shorten or lengthen the newly created head band or head crown. This alternative can also be used as hair band without the necklace and brooch can be used to decorate. This function of creating a hair band without the use of a necklace is also applicable to some devices shown in FIG. 1A, FIG. 1B, FIG. 1C, FIG. 1D, FIG. 1E, FIG. 1F, FIG. 2A, FIG. 2B, FIG. 2C, FIG. 2D, FIG. 2E, FIG. 2F, FIG. 2G, FIG. 3A, FIG. 3B, FIG. 3C, FIG. 3D, FIG. 3E, FIG. 3F, FIG. 3G, FIG. 3H, and FIG. 4A, FIG. 4B, FIG. 4C, FIG. 4E, FIG. 4F, FIG. 4G, FIG. 4H, FIG. 4I, FIG. 4J, FIG. 4K FIG. 4L.

Claims (28)

28. A device that converts any article from its current form or function or use to different forms, functions and uses and then back to the original article form function or use, the device comprising:
a member with a first end and second end; and
a first action part means for removably securing first end of said member to an article;
a second action part means for removably attaching second end of said member to an article on the opposite end; and
a connecter that connects the member to the action parts.
29. The device of claim 28 wherein said member is made of any flexible or rigid item.
30. The device of claim 28 wherein the preferred said member is made of any flexible item.
31. The device of claim 28 wherein the said flexible item is a resilient strap constructed of a stretchable material; said strap member being capable of stretching in response to a tensile force applied thereto and of returning to its original length upon removal of said tensile force.
32. The device of claim 28 the said strap member is a bra strap.
33. The device of claim 28 the said bra strap further comprising of an adjustment means for longitudinally varying the length of said bra strap.
34. The device of claim 28 wherein the said adjustment means is a bra buckle.
35. The device of claim 28 wherein the said member is located between a first action part and a second action part.
36. The devise of claim 28 wherein the said first action part and second said action part can create any mechanical force action to hold, hook, latch, grab, secure, snap, button, fasten, clamp, clip, the said flexible or rigid article.
37. The device of claim 28 wherein the said first action part and second action part can be any physical shape, size, design and material.
38. The device of claim 28 wherein the said first action part and said second action part can have different unique capabilities, finish, material, advantages depending on user end preference, appearance, finish and type of article.
39. The device of claim 28 wherein the said first action part and said second action part can be any clip, any hook, any jewelry closure combination, any lanyard, luggage or hand bag closures, apparel closure.
40. The device of claim 28 wherein the said first action part and said second action part may or may not have further modifications to facilitate holding the articles.
41. The device of claim 28 wherein the said modifications can be holding aids are any shape any size, angle protrusions on any action part surface. or shallow holes/ridges or valleys on gaps.
42. The device of claim 28 wherein the said connectors is disposed between the said action part and the member.
43. The device of claim 28 wherein said connectors can permanently, temporary, directly, indirectly, or partially attach to the action part and the member.
44. The device of claim 1, wherein the said connector can allow for the interchangeability of both the action parts and the member or action part only or member only or none.
45. The device of claim 28, wherein the said connector can be any material, shape, size, length, width, connection type.
46. The device of claim 28 wherein the preferred connector is a temporary and partial connection.
47. The device of claim 28 wherein the said temporary and partial connector compromises of a ring to connect the member and a squeeze buckle with housing compartment case to connect the action part.
48. The device in claim 28, wherein the said rings are any, shape, size and material and function type.
49. The device is claim 28, where in the rings can be permanent or removeably interchange the member.
50. The device of claim 28, where the preferred ring is a D ring with swivel snap that allows interchangeability of the member.
51. The device of claim 28, the said squeeze buckle can comprise of a top, bottom or side buckle squeeze and made of any size, shape or material.
52. The devise of claim 28, wherein the preferred squeeze buckle is a side squeeze that removablely slides in and out of a housing compartment cavity located at the back of the said first action part and second action part allowing interchangeability of the first and second action part.
53. The devise of claim 28 the said first and second detachable squeeze buckle with said D ring swivel snap is disposed between said first and second action part means and the said bra strap with bra buckle.
54. A method of attaching the devise of claim 28 to an article to create another form and/or use of the article, the method comprising:
a) attaching the first action part of the device or embodiment to the first end or first U shape of the article, if circular;
b) positioning the article at the desired body section and close the loop by attaching the second action part of the device or embodiment to the second end or U shape of the article if it is circular, wherein positioning converts the article to a new function use and or form;
c) selecting the appropriate removable first action part and second action part based on desired use, article, closure, end look, desired finish, if the device or embodiment has removable action parts that can be interchanged;
d) removing the action parts of the device or embodiment from the article to restore the article to the original use and function simply
