Abstract
A stop structure (1) for an electric bed includes a stop bracket (11) and two positioning seats (10). Each of the positioning seats has an interior provided with a through hole (100), has an upper end provided with two screw holes (101), and has a side provided with a channel (102). The stop bracket has a substantially inverted U-shaped configuration and has two bent heads (110) formed on two ends thereof. Each of the bent heads of the stop bracket has a substantially U-shaped configuration. Each of the positioning seats is threadedly secured to a bed board (20) of an electric bed (2). Each of the bent heads of the stop bracket is inserted into the through hole of each of the positioning seats and locked in the channel of each of the positioning seats.
Description
- The present invention relates to a stop structure and, more particularly, to a stop structure for a mattress of an electric bed.
- A conventional electric bed comprises a frame, a bed board and a mattress. When the electric bed is operated, the mattress is inclined during lifting of the electric bed, so that the mattress easily slips and falls due to its gravity. Thus, it is necessary to provide an antiskid device. A conventional stop structure for an electric bed comprises a bottom plate locked onto the bed board of the electric bed, and a washer locked onto the bottom plate. However, the screws easily become loosened or unscrewed, thereby failing the conventional stop structure. In addition, the conventional stop structure is not assembled easily and conveniently, thereby wasting the user's time and energy during assembly.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a stop structure that prevents sliding of a mattress when an electric bed is lifted or lowered.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a stop structure comprising a stop bracket and two positioning seats. Each of the two positioning seats has an interior provided with a through hole, has an upper end provided with two screw holes, and has a side provided with a channel. The stop bracket has a substantially inverted U-shaped configuration and has two bent heads formed on two ends thereof. Each of the two bent heads of the stop bracket has a substantially U-shaped configuration. Each of the two positioning seats is threadedly secured to a bed board of an electric bed. Each of the two bent heads of the stop bracket is inserted into the through hole of each of the two positioning seats and locked in the channel of each of the two positioning seats.
- According to the primary advantage of the present invention, the two positioning seats are secured to the bed board of the electric bed, and the stop bracket is directly mounted on the two positioning seats, so that the stop structure is mounted on the bed board of the electric bed easily, quickly and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user assembling the stop structure. According to another advantage of the present invention, the channel of each of the two positioning seats and each of the two bent heads of the stop bracket form a locking action so that the stop bracket is supported and secured by the two positioning seats.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a stop structure in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the stop structure in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the stop structure for an electric bed in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is a locally enlarged view of the stop structure for an electric bed in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 is a side view of the stop structure for an electric bed in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 6 is a schematic perspective operational view of the stop structure for an electric bed in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. - Referring to the drawings and initially to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , astop structure 1 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises astop bracket 11 and twopositioning seats 10. - Each of the two
positioning seats 10 has an interior provided with athrough hole 100, has an upper end provided with twoscrew holes 101, and has a side provided with achannel 102. - The
stop bracket 11 has a substantially inverted U-shaped configuration and has twobent heads 110 formed on two ends thereof. Each of the twobent heads 110 of thestop bracket 11 has a substantially U-shaped configuration. Each of the twobent heads 110 of thestop bracket 11 is inserted into the throughhole 100 of each of the twopositioning seats 10 and locked in thechannel 102 of each of the twopositioning seats 10, so that each of the twobent heads 110 of thestop bracket 11 is secured to each of the twopositioning seats 10 by locking of thechannel 102. - In practice, referring to
FIGS. 3-5 with reference toFIGS. 1 and 2 , each of the twopositioning seats 10 is threadedly secured to abed board 20 of anelectric bed 2 by threaded fasteners. Then, each of the twobent heads 110 of thestop bracket 11 is inserted into the throughhole 100 of each of the twopositioning seats 10 and locked in thechannel 102 of each of the twopositioning seats 10, so that thestop structure 1 is mounted on thebed board 20 of theelectric bed 2. - As shown in
FIG. 6 , when theelectric bed 2 is lifted, thestop bracket 11 stops and prevents sliding of amattress 21 of theelectric bed 2. Thus, when themattress 21 of theelectric bed 2 is inclined during lifting of theelectric bed 2, themattress 21 of theelectric bed 2 is stopped by thestop structure 1, so that thestop structure 1 prevents themattress 21 of theelectric bed 2 from slipping and falling due to the gravity during lifting of theelectric bed 2. - Accordingly, the two
positioning seats 10 are secured to thebed board 20 of theelectric bed 2, and thestop bracket 11 is directly mounted on the twopositioning seats 10, so that thestop structure 1 is mounted on thebed board 20 of theelectric bed 2 easily, quickly and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user assembling thestop structure 1. In addition, thechannel 102 of each of the twopositioning seats 10 and each of the twobent heads 110 of thestop bracket 11 form a locking action so that thestop bracket 11 is supported and secured by the twopositioning seats 10. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the scope of the invention.
