Abstract
A stop structure 1 for an electric bed includes a stop bracket 11 and two positioning seats 10. Each of the positioning seats 10 has a through hole 100, an upper end provided with two screw holes 101, and a side provided with a channel 102. The stop bracket 11 has an inverted U-shaped configuration with two U-shaped, bent heads 110 on the ends. Each of the positioning seats 10 is able to be threadedly secured to a bed board of an electric bed. In use, each of the bent heads 110 is inserted into the through hole 100 of each of the positioning seats 10 and locked in the channel 102. The structure 1 may prevent the slipping or sliding of a mattress when an electric bed is lifted or lowered by retaining the mattress in place.
Description
STOP STRUCTURE FOR MATTRESS OF ELECTRIC BED
The present invention relates to a stop structure and, more particularly, to a stop structure for a mattress of an electric bed.
A conventional electric bed comprises a frame, a bed board and a mattress. When the electric bed is operated, the mattress is inclined during lifting of the electric bed, so that the mattress easily slips and falls due to its gravity. Thus, it is necessary to provide an antiskid device. A conventional stop structure for an electric bed comprises a bottom plate locked onto the bed board of the electric bed, and a washer locked onto the bottom plate. However, the screws easily become loosened or unscrewed, thereby failing the conventional stop structure. In addition, the conventional stop structure is not assembled easily and conveniently, thereby wasting the user's time and energy during assembly.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a stop structure that prevents sliding of a mattress when an electric bed is lifted or lowered.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a stop structure comprising a stop bracket and two positioning seats. Each of the two positioning seats has an interior provided with a through hole, has an upper end provided with two screw holes, and has a side provided with a channel. The stop bracket has a substantially inverted U-shaped configuration and has two bent heads formed on two ends thereof. Each of the two bent heads of the stop i
bracket has a substantially U-shaped configuration. Each of the two positioning seats is threadedly secured to a bed board of an electric bed. Each of the two bent heads of the stop bracket is inserted into the through hole of each of the two positioning seats and locked in the channel of each of the two positioning seats.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
In the drawings:
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a stop structure in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG 2 is a perspective view of the stop structure in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG 3 is a perspective view of the stop structure for an electric bed in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG 4 is a locally enlarged view of the stop structure for an electric bed in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 5 is a side view of the stop structure for an electric bed in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG 6 is a schematic perspective operational view of the stop structure for an electric bed in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1 and 2, a stop structure 1 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a stop bracket 11 and two positioning seats 10.
Each of the two positioning seats 10 has an interior provided with a through hole 100, has an upper end provided with two screw holes 101, and has a side provided with a channel 102.
The stop bracket 11 has a substantially inverted U-shaped configuration and has two bent heads 110 formed on two ends thereof. Each of the two bent heads 110 of the stop bracket 11 has a substantially U-shaped configuration. Each of the two bent heads 110 of the stop bracket 11 is inserted into the through hole 100 of each of the two positioning seats 10 and locked in the channel 102 of each of the two positioning seats 10, so that each of the two bent heads 110 of the stop bracket 11 is secured to each of the two positioning seats 10 by locking of the channel 102.
In practice, referring to FIGS. 3-5 with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, each of the two positioning seats 10 is threadedly secured to a bed board 20 of an electric bed 2 by threaded fasteners. Then, each of the two bent heads 110 of the stop bracket 11 is inserted into the through hole 100 of each of the two positioning seats 10 and locked in the channel 102 of each of the two positioning seats 10, so that the stop structure 1 is mounted on the bed board 20 of the electric bed 2.
As shown in FIG. 6, when the electric bed 2 is lifted, the stop bracket 11 stops and prevents sliding of a mattress 21 of the electric bed 2. Thus, when the mattress 21 of the electric bed 2 is inclined during lifting of the electric bed 2, the mattress 21 of the electric bed 2 is stopped by the stop structure 1, so that the stop structure 1 prevents the mattress 21 of the electric bed 2 from slipping and falling due to the gravity during lifting of the electric bed 2.
Accordingly, the two positioning seats 10 are secured to the bed board 20 of the electric bed 2, and the stop bracket 11 is directly mounted on the two positioning seats 10, so that the stop structure 1 is mounted on the bed board 20 of the electric bed 2 easily, quickly and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user assembling the stop structure 1. In addition, the channel 102 of each of the two positioning seats 10 and each of the two bent heads 110 of the stop bracket 11 form a locking action so that the stop bracket 11 is supported and secured by the two positioning seats 10.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the scope of the invention.
