The hair-member is integral to the head covering and affixed to the interior-portion. The hair-member is a hair extension extending from the head covering. The hair extension includes bangs positioned at a frontal section of the head covering functionally simulates natural-bangs. The head covering provides a combination the head covering and the hair extension for wearing on a head of a user.

Description

    CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
  • The present application is related to and claims priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62/652,269 filed Apr. 3, 2018, which is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art nor material to the presently described or claimed inventions, nor that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates generally to the field of scarves and more specifically relates to scarves having hair attached thereto.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • People who are undergoing chemotherapy often lose their hair. For women, this may leave the individual feeling vulnerable and upset with their appearance. People may lose confidence and become depressed due to not being able to style hair and wear fashionable scarves. A suitable solution is desired.
  • U.S. Pat. No. 8,418,266 to Patricia Pike relates to a hat or cap having synthetic hair extending therethrough or secured thereto. The described hat or cap having synthetic hair extending therethrough or secured thereto includes a hat having one or more portions of synthetic hair extending therethrough and/or secured to the hat to give the appearance of a person wearing a hat and having his or her real hair visibly showing. The hat can be a baseball style cap, Preferably, the synthetic hair can appear as a ponytail or one or more pig tails. The hat is ideal for persons who have experienced permanent or temporary hair loss.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known scarves art, the present disclosure provides a novel head scarf with bangs system. The general purpose of the present disclosure, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a head scarf for concealing baldness and providing a head scarf and hair extension combination.
  • A head scarf with bangs system is disclosed herein. The head scarf with bangs system includes a head covering having an exterior-portion and an interior-portion including a hair-member. The head covering comprises a head scarf. The hair-member is integral to the head covering and affixed to the interior-portion. The hair-member comprises a hair extension extending from the head covering. The hair extension comprises bangs positioned at the frontal section of the head covering and functionally simulates natural-bangs. The hair-member is affixed to a frontal section of the interior-portion of the head covering. The hair extension may include synthetic or non-synthetic, human hair having a functionable appearance of human hair. The head covering provides a combination of the head covering and the hair extension for wearing on a head of a user.
  • For purposes of summarizing the invention, certain aspects, advantages, and novel features of the invention have been described herein. It is to be understood that not necessarily all such advantages may be achieved in accordance with any one particular embodiment of the invention. Thus, the invention may be embodied or carried out in a manner that achieves or optimizes one advantage or group of advantages as taught herein without necessarily achieving other advantages as may be taught or suggested herein. The features of the invention which are believed to be novel are particularly pointed out and distinctly claimed in the concluding portion of the specification. These and other features, aspects, and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings and detailed description.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The figures which accompany the written portion of this specification illustrate embodiments and methods of use for the present disclosure, a head scarf with bangs system, constructed and operative according to the teachings of the present disclosure.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the head scarf with bangs system during an ‘in-use’ condition, according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 2 is a front perspective view of the head scarf with bangs system of FIG. 1 during an ‘in-use’ condition, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • FIG. 3 is a side view of the head scarf with bangs system of FIG. 1 during an ‘in-use’ condition, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • FIG. 4 is a front view of the head scarf with bangs system of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • FIG. 5 is a front view of the head scarf with bangs system of FIG. 1 including a hair-member simulates bangs, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • The various embodiments of the present invention will hereinafter be described in conjunction with the appended drawings, wherein like designations denote like elements.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to scarves and more particularly to a head scarf with bangs system as used to improve the means for concealing baldness.
  • Generally, head scarf with bangs system is a head scarf equipped with synthetic or human hair. The scarf may be available in numerous sizes, colors, and designs, each of which can feature different colors of hair on the front side. The hair is preferably sewn directly into the scarf. The accessory makes a person feel more comfortable with their appearance, effectively replacing the need for a wig, hair extensions, or other hair pieces. Each scarf may measure approximately 4″ in length and 10″ in width; however, both scarf and hair sizes may vary to accommodate all user needs and preferences. The device enables chemotherapy patients to cope with hair loss by wearing a fashionable scarf equipped with synthetic or natural hair. It allows users to obtain bangs with a unique look and the head scarf improves an individual's self-esteem by providing him/her with hair. The present invention features numerous colors, styles, and designs of head scarves to accommodate all user needs and preferences.
  • Referring now more specifically to the drawings by numerals of reference, there is shown in FIGS. 1-5, various views of a head scarf with bangs system 100. FIG. 1 shows a head scarf with bangs system 100 during an ‘in-use’ condition 150, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As illustrated, the head scarf with bangs system 100 may include a head covering 110 having an exterior-portion 112 and an interior-portion 118 including a hair-member 130. The head covering 110 comprises a head scarf. The hair-member 130 is integral to the head covering 110 and affixed to the interior-portion 118. The hair-member 130 comprises a hair extension extending from the head covering 110. The hair-member 130 is affixed to a frontal section 120 of the interior-portion 118 of the head covering 110. The head covering 110 provides a combination head covering 110 and the hair extension for wearing on a head of a user.
  • FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the head scarf with bangs system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the head scarf with bangs system 100 may include the head covering 110 having an integral hair-member 130. The head covering 110 may be foldable and securable to the head of a user-wearer. The head covering 110 covers a substantial portion of a head of the user-wearer. The hair extension comprises bangs positioned at the frontal section 120 of the head covering 110 functionally simulates natural-bangs. The hair extension may include synthetic or non-synthetic, human hair having a functionable appearance of human hair.
  • FIG. 3 shows a side view of the head scarf with bangs system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the head scarf with bangs system 100 may include the head covering having the hair extension which simulates natural-bangs and is positioned at the frontal section 120 of the head covering 110. In a preferred embodiment, the hair-member 130 is integral to the head covering 110, and permanently affixed to the interior-portion 118. In other embodiments, the hair-member 130 may be removably affixed to the interior-portion 118 of the head covering 110. The hair-member 130 is sewn to the frontal section 120 of the interior-portion 118 of the head covering 110 at a securement point 140 where strands of the hair extension are held together. The securement point 140 includes an elongated strip. The securement point 140 of the hair-member 130 and the head covering 110 is non-visible from an external viewer.
  • FIG. 4 shows a front view of the head scarf with bangs system 100 of FIG. 1, showing a partial view of the interior-portion 118 including a hair-member 130 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the head scarf with bangs system 100 may include a combination head scarf and synthetic or human hair designed to provide a scarf and hair extension combination in a single unit. The head covering 110 of the head scarf with bangs system 100 comprises a flexible fabric. The head scarf may comprise a triangular-shaped cloth, a square-shaped cloth, or rectangular-shaped cloth to be folded and secured around a user's head. A rear section 124 of the interior-portion 118 of the head covering 110 does not comprise the hair extension. The exterior-portion 112 of the head covering 110 is a top-surface of said head scarf and the interior-portion 118 is a bottom-surface of the head scarf during an unfolded condition. The head covering 110 further provides a cap head covering to conceal baldness and provide an illusion of natural hair.
  • FIG. 5 shows a front view of the head scarf with bangs system 100 of FIG. 1, having a hair-member 130 which simulates bangs according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the head scarf with bangs system 100 may include a head scarf which may be folded into a head covering 110 having an exterior-portion 112 and an interior-portion 118 including a hair-member 130. The hair-member 130 simulates bangs and is positioned at the frontal section 120 of the interior-portion 118 of the head covering 110. The interior-portion 118 of the head covering 110 is in contact with a head of a user during wear. The head covering 110 may be used to conceal baldness and provide unique and functional headwear.
  • The embodiments of the invention described herein are exemplary and numerous modifications, variations and rearrangements can be readily envisioned to achieve substantially equivalent results, all of which are intended to be embraced within the spirit and scope of the invention. Further, the purpose of the foregoing abstract is to enable the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally, and especially the scientist, engineers and practitioners in the art who are not familiar with patent or legal terms or phraseology, to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and essence of the technical disclosure of the application.

Claims (20)

What is claimed is new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent is set forth in the appended claims:
1. A head scarf with bangs system comprising:
a head covering having;
an exterior-portion; and
an interior-portion including;
a hair-member simulating natural bangs;
wherein said head covering comprises a head scarf;
wherein said hair-member comprises a hair extension extending from said head covering;
wherein said hair-member is integral to said head covering, and affixed to a frontal section of said interior-portion of said head covering; and
wherein said head covering provides a combination said head covering and said hair extension simulating natural bangs for wearing on a head of a user.
2. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 1, wherein said head covering is foldable and securable to said head of a user-wearer.
3. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 2, wherein said head covering covers a substantial portion of a head of said user-wearer during wear.
4. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 2, wherein said hair extension comprises hair selected from the group consisting of non-synthetic hair and synthetic hair.
5. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 4, wherein said hair extension comprises a hair extension.
6. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 5, wherein said hair extension comprises bangs positioned at said frontal section of said head covering functionally simulates natural-bangs.
7. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 6, wherein said hair extension comprises synthetic hair having a functionable appearance of human hair.
8. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 6, wherein said hair extension comprises non-synthetic hair.
9. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 6, wherein said hair-member is integral to said head covering, and permanently affixed to said interior-portion.
10. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 6, wherein said hair-member is removably affixed to said interior-portion of said head covering.
11. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 9, wherein said hair-member is sewn to said frontal section of said interior-portion of said head covering.
12. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 11, wherein said hair-member is sewn to said frontal section of said interior-portion of said head covering at a securement point where strands of said hair extension are held together.
13. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 12, wherein said securement point includes an elongated strip.
14. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 1, wherein said head covering comprises a flexible fabric.
15. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 3, wherein said head scarf comprises a rectangular-shaped cloth.
16. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 3, wherein said head scarf comprises a square-shaped cloth.
17. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 11, wherein a rear section of said interior-portion of said head covering does not comprise said hair extension.
18. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 1, wherein said exterior-portion of said head covering is a top-surface of said head scarf and said interior-portion is a bottom-surface of said head scarf during an unfolded condition.
19. The head scarf with bangs system of claim 12, wherein said securement point of said hair-member and said head covering is non-visible from an external viewer.
20. A head scarf with bangs system, the head scarf with bangs system comprising:
a head covering having;
an exterior-portion; and
an interior-portion including;
a hair-member;
wherein said head covering comprises a head scarf;
wherein said hair-member is integral to said head covering, and affixed to said interior-portion;
wherein said hair-member comprises a hair extension extending from said head covering;
wherein said hair-member is affixed to a frontal section of said interior-portion of said head covering;
wherein said head covering provides a combination said head covering and said hair extension for wearing on a head of a user;
wherein said head covering is foldable and securable to said head of a user-wearer;
wherein said head covering covers a substantial portion of a head of said user-wearer;
wherein said hair extension comprises hair selected from the group consisting of non-synthetic hair and synthetic hair;
wherein said hair extension comprises a hair extension;
wherein said hair extension comprises bangs positioned at said frontal section of said head covering functionally simulates natural-bangs;
wherein said hair-member is integral to said head covering, and permanently affixed to said interior-portion;
wherein said hair-member is sewn to said frontal section of said interior-portion of said head covering;
wherein said hair-member is sewn to said frontal section of said interior-portion of said head covering at a securement point where strands of said hair extension are held together;
wherein said securement point includes an elongated strip;
wherein said securement point of said hair-member and said head covering is non-visible from an external viewer;
wherein said head covering comprises a flexible fabric; and
wherein a rear section of said interior-portion of said head covering does not comprise said hair extension.
