Abstract

A system and method for applying synthetic lashes using a box and adhesive strips is described herein. The system can comprise a lash case, an adhesive strip, and a plurality of volume extension lashes. The lash case can comprise a plurality of sections. Each of the section related to a zone on an eyelid, wherein each of the section can be arranged sequentially according to the zone on the eyelid of a user. The adhesive strip can be on each of the section. The plurality of volume extension lashes can be attached to the strip.

The method can comprise selecting a lash case that creates a particular look, and removing each of a plurality of volume extension lashes from a strip, and attaching each of the plurality of volume extension lashes onto a single natural lash of a user according to a zone on each of a plurality of sections.

Description

BACKGROUND

This disclosure relates to a system and method for applying synthetic lashes using a box and adhesive strips.
Recently, eyelash extension that is being done by a professional lash technician has been popular around the world. One of the most common known methods is attaching a single synthetic eyelash extension onto each natural lashes of an individual. This method can be effective on individuals that already have a lot of natural eyelashes. However, individuals that have less natural lashes, sparse lashes, or bald spots who wanted more volume might not be satisfied with single synthetic eyelash extension. Moreover, this method can be time consuming. Thus, another method was developed to address such problem. This method involves attaching clustered synthetic eyelashes on multiple natural lashes. Clustered synthetic eyelashes comprise multiple lash strands attached together as a single fan. This method can add more volume to an individual's sparse lashes. However, such method can be bulky and heavy on the eyes. Additionally, since clustered synthetic eyelashes are attached on multiple lashes when natural lashes grow at different length, the tension from the cluster attached to natural lashes can cause premature lash loss. A more recent alternative to such method is using volume extension lash. This method comprises multiple synthetic lash strands, which can be attached to single natural lashes. Adding volume extension lash can be very effective but can be time consuming and inconvenient since professional technicians may need to get different sizes of multiple lash fans from differently sized lashes container to create a specific look.
As such it would be useful to have an improved system and method for applying synthetic lashes using a box and adhesive strips.

SUMMARY

A system and method for applying synthetic lashes using a box and adhesive strips is described herein. The system can comprise a lash case, an adhesive strip, and a plurality of volume extension lashes. The lash case can comprise a plurality of sections. Each of the section related to a zone on an eyelid, wherein each of the section can be arranged sequentially according to the zone on the eyelid of a user. The adhesive strip can be on each of the section. The plurality of volume extension lashes can be attached to the strip.
A method for applying synthetic lashes using a box and adhesive strips is described herein. The method can comprise selecting a lash case that creates a particular look, and removing each of a plurality of volume extension lashes from a strip. Furthermore, the method can comprise attaching each of the plurality of volume extension lashes onto a single natural lash of a user according to a zone on each of a plurality of sections. The lash case can comprise the plurality of sections, the adhesive strip, and the plurality of volume extension lashes. Each of the section can be related to the zone on an eyelid. Each of the section can be arranged sequentially according to the zone on the eyelids of the user. The adhesive strip can be on each of the section. The plurality of volume extension lashes can be attached to the strip. The zone can be associated to specific sections on the eyelids of the user.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Described herein is a system and method for applying synthetic lashes using a box and adhesive strips. The following description is presented to enable any person skilled in the art to make and use the invention as claimed and is provided in the context of the particular examples discussed below, variations of which will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art. In the interest of clarity, not all features of an actual implementation are described in this specification. It will be appreciated that in the development of any such actual implementation (as in any development project), design decisions must be made to achieve the designers' specific goals (e.g., compliance with system- and business-related constraints), and that these goals will vary from one implementation to another. It will also be appreciated that such development effort might be complex and time-consuming, but would nevertheless be a routine undertaking for those of ordinary skill in the field of the appropriate art having the benefit of this disclosure. Accordingly, the claims appended hereto are not intended to be limited by the disclosed embodiments, but are to be accorded their widest scope consistent with the principles and features disclosed herein.
FIG. 1 illustrates a plurality of volume extension lashes 100 attached on a lash case 101. Each volume extension lashes 100 can be an individual lash extension that comprises a flat base 102 and a plurality of synthetic lash strands 103. As such, each volume extension lash 100 can be a multiple synthetic lash strand 103 that can be bonded together to create a fan. Each volume extension lash 100 or each extension fan can be classified according to the number of lash strands 103 that extend through base 102; i.e. 1D(single lash strand), 2D (2 lash strands 103 extensions per fan), 3D (3 lash strands 103 extensions per fan), 4D (4 lash strands 103 extensions per fan), 5D (5 lash strands 103 extensions per fan), and 6d (6 lash strands 103 extensions per fan). Furthermore, volume extension lashes 100 can be in various length, thickness, curl, and/or color. Lash case 101 can be a piece of material, such as a sheet, or a box that can hold volume extension lashes 100. Lash case 101 can comprise a description 104, and a plurality of sections 105. As such, lash case 101 can comprise a pre-determined set of volume extension lashes 100 that can create a particular look. Description 104 can describe the particular look that can be created by using volume extension lashes 100 on lash case 101. Further, the user can either request to apply extension lashes as a full set or to apply volume extension lashes as a refill set, discussed further below. Sections 105 can be associated to a specific zone of the user's eyelids. As such, section 105 can indicate where volume extension lashes 100 can be placed on the user's natural lash. Moreover, sections 105 can be arranged sequentially according to the eyelid portions (or zones). Each section 105 can comprise a strip 106. Strip 106 can be a piece of tape capable of holding volume extension lashes 100. In one embodiment, strip 106 can comprise tape adhesive on one or both sides. Strips 106 that are placed within the same section 105 can comprise same size and type of volume extension lashes 100.
FIG. 2 illustrates an exemplary embodiment of a volume consultation table that can be used to create a particular look. The characteristics and/or description found in the consultation table can be description 104 of lash case 101. Description 104 can indicate a thickness 201, a style 202, and a size 203 of volume extension lashes 100. Thickness 201 can indicate the number of lash strands 103 is there on each base 102. In this embodiment, thickness 201 can either be classified as a “3D” 201 a or a “6D” 201 b. Description 104 that says “3D” 201 a can mean that each volume extension lash 100 on lash case 101 can comprise three (3) lash strands 103 extensions per fan. As another example, lash case 101 with description 104 of “ 6D” 201 b can mean that each volume extension lash 100 can comprise six (6) lash strands 103 extensions per fan. Style 202 can be used to describe the style of volume extension lashes 100 that is within lash case 101, such as “open” 202 a or “flare” 202 b. Open style 202 a can create a “gorgeous, cute, natural” look while “Flare” style 202 b can create a “sexy” look. Size 203 can indicate a specific length of volume extension lashes 100. Size 203 can be the length measurement of volume extension lashes 100 in millimeter (mm). Size 203 can vary from a small size 203 a, a medium size 203 b, a large size 203 c, or an extra large size 203 d. Size 203 can vary according to style 202. Further in one embodiment, the difference between sizes 203 for lash case 101 can be one millimeter. As an example, the longest volume extension lashes 100 on lash case 101 that can be in small size 203 a, can be one-millimeter shorter than the longest volume extension lashes 100 on lash case 101 for medium size 203 b. Additionally, the longest volume extension lashes 100 on lash case 101 that can be in small size 203 a, can be two-millimeter shorter than the longest volume extension lashes 100 on lash case 101 for large size 203 c. Lastly, the longest volume extension lashes 100 on lash case 101 that can be in small size 203 a, can be three-millimeter shorter than the longest volume extension lashes 100 on lash case 101 for extra large size 203 d. For example, a user that is going for a “3D Open Style” look can choose from small size 203 a, medium size 203 b, or large size 203 c, while a user that chooses “6D Open Style” look can choose from small size 203 a, medium size 203 b, large size 203 c, or extra large 203 d. As a non-limiting example, if the user chooses medium size 203 b for “3D Open Style” then the longest length for volume extension lashes 100 that can be applied to the user's natural lashes can be “12 mm”. And, if the user chooses extra large size 203 d for “6D—Open Style” then the longest length for volume extension lashes 100 that can be applied to the user's natural lashes can be “15 mm”.
FIG. 3 illustrates how an eyelid 300 can be divided into four zones. Volume extension lashes 100 can be attached in different zones in order to create a particular look. Each volume extension lash 100 can be attached to a single natural eyelash of the user within the specified zones. In this embodiment, eyelid 300 can comprise a corner zone 301, an inner zone 302, a middle zone 303, and an outer zone 304. Corner zone 301 can be the area that is near the tear ducts of the eye. Corner zone 301 can extend from the tear ducts of the eye to an area near an iris of the eye. Inner zone 302 can be the area next to corner zone 301. Inner zone can extend near the iris of the eye to the iris. Inner zone 302 can be the portion connecting corner zone 301 and middle zone 303. Middle zone 303 can extend across the iris. Middle zone 303 can be the area connecting inner zone 302 and outer zone 304. Outer zone 304 can be the portion of eyelid 300 farther from the tear ducts. Outer zone 304 can extend from the iris until the end of eyelid 300
FIG. 4 illustrates a full set case 400 embodiment of lash case 101. Full set case 400 can be lash case 101 that comprises a full set of volume extension lashes 100. As a non-limiting embodiment, full set case 400 can comprise of 160 fans or 160 pieces of volume extension lashes 100. As such, 80 fans can be placed for each eye of the user. Full set case 400 can comprise eight strips 106 of volume extension lashes 100. First time user's that are initially requesting for an eyelash extension can use full set case 400. Moreover, full set case 400 can be used to a returning user that has not had a refill or has not returned for any extension service for more than 30 days. Additionally, user can get full set case 400 if user wants more volume fans added onto her natural lash. Such user may want more volume fans added than what is offered in a refill set case 400. Each section 105 can comprise a zone label 401, and a length label 402. Zone label 401 can be a label that indicates the area where volume extension lashes 100 can be placed on the user's natural eyelash. As an example embodiment shown in FIG. 4, zone label 401 can be represented as “C”, “I”, “M”, and/or “O”, which identifies each section 105. In such embodiment, volume extension lashes 100 within a “C” section 105 a can be placed within corner zone 301, while volume extension lashes 100 within an “I” section 105 b can be placed within inner zone 302. Additionally, volume extension lashes 100 within a plurality of “M” sections 105 c can be placed within middle zone 303. Lastly, volume extension lashes 100 within an “O” section 105 d can be placed within outer zone 304. Further, “C” section 105 a can comprise the shortest volume extension lashes 100 within lash case 101, while “M” section 105 c can comprise the longest volume extension lashes 100 within lash case 101. Size label 402 can indicate the length of each volume extension lash 100 within each section 105. As a non-limiting example shown in FIG. 4, “C” section 105 a can comprise of volume extension lashes 100 that can be eleven-millimeter in length, “I” section 105 b can comprise of extension lashes 100 that can be twelve-millimeter in length, “M” sections 105 c can comprise of volume extension lashes 100 that can be thirteen-millimeter in length, while “O” section 105 d can comprise of volume extension lashes 100 that can be twelve-millimeter in length.
FIG. 5 illustrates a refill set case 500 embodiment of lash case 101. Refill set case 500 can be lash case 101 that comprises a refill set of volume extension lashes 100. Thus, refill set case 500 can comprise lesser number of volume extension lashes 100 than full set case 400. As a non-limiting embodiment, refill set case 500 can comprise of 120 fans or 120 pieces of volume extension lashes 100. As such, 60 fans or 60 pieces of volume extension lashes 100 can be placed for each eye of the user. In this embodiment, sections 105 on refill set case 500 can be divided into two groups, which can be a first group 501 a, and a second group 501 b. Sections 105 on first group 501 a can be used on one of the user's eye, while sections 105 on second group 501 b can be used on the user's other eye. Each group 501 can comprise of six strips 106 of volume extension lashes 100 thus, refill set case 500 can have twelve strips 106 of volume extension lashes 100. In this embodiment, sections 105 on each group 501 can be labeled with the same zone label 401 and size label 402, as shown in FIG. 5. Further, users who already used full set case 400 but still want to refill their natural lashes to add more volume can use refill set case 500. The user can use refill set case 500 after 3-4 weeks of using full set case 500. Moreover, users who want to replace volume extension lashes 100 that have grown too far away from the lash line can use refill set case 500. As a non-limiting example shown in FIG. 5, each group 501 can comprise the following: “C” section 105 a comprising of volume extension lashes 100 that can be eleven-millimeter (mm) in length, “I” section 105 b comprising of extension lashes 100 that can be twelve-millimeter in length, “M” sections 105 c comprising of volume extension lashes 100 that can be thirteen-millimeter in length, while “O” section 105 d comprising of volume extension lashes 100 that can be twelve-millimeter in length.
FIG. 6A illustrates an embodiment of lash cases 101 comprising small size 3D lash fans to create a gorgeous, natural, cute look. In this embodiment, full set case 400 can comprise of one “C” section 105 a, one “I” section 105 b, five (5) “M” sections 105 c, and one “O” section 105 d. Further in another embodiment refill set case 500 sections 105 can be divided into two groups; first group 501 a and second group 501 b. Each group 501 can comprise of six (6) identical sections 105, which can comprise of one “C” section 105 a, one “I” section 105 b, three (3) “M” sections 105 c, and one “O” section 105 d. In these embodiments, the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d, “I” section 105 b, and “C” section 105 a can be the same, while the length of volume extension 100 on “M” section 105 c can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “O’ section 105 d. As a non-limiting embodiment, each of “O” section 105 d, “I” section 105 b, and “C” section 105 a can comprise ten-millimeters volume extension lashes 100, while “M” section 105 c can comprise eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100.
FIG. 6B illustrates an embodiment of lash cases 101 comprising medium size 3D lash fans to create a gorgeous, natural, cute look. Using FIG. 6A as comparison, the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d of medium size 203 b lash case 101 can be one-millimeter longer than the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d of small size 203 a lash case 101. Further in this embodiment, the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d can be can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “C” section 105 a. The length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d can be can be the same with the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “I” section 105 a. Volume extension lashes 100 on “M” section 105 c can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d. Thus, “M” section 105 c can be two-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “C” section 105 c. In one embodiment, “O” section 105 d and “I” section 105 b can comprise eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100. As a non-limiting embodiment, each of “O” section 105 d, and “I” section 105 b can comprise eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100, while “M” section 105 c can comprise twelve-millimeters volume extension lashes 100. Lastly, “I” section 105 a can comprise ten-millimeters volume extension lashes 100.
FIG. 6C illustrates an embodiment of lash cases 101 comprising large size 3D lash fans to create a gorgeous, natural, cute look. Using FIG. 6BA as comparison, the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d of large size 203 c lash case 101 can be two-millimeter longer than the length of volume extension lashes on “O” section 105 d of small size 203 a lash case 101. Further in this embodiment, the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d can be can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “C” section 105 a. The length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d can be can be the same with the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “I” section 105 a. Volume extension lashes 100 on “M” section 105 c can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d. Thus, “M” section 105 c can be two-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “C” section 105 c. As a non-limiting embodiment, each of “O” section 105 d, and “I” section 105 b can comprise twelve-millimeters volume extension lashes 100, while “M” section 105 c can comprise thirteen-millimeters volume extension lashes 100. Lastly, “I” section 105 a can comprise eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100.
FIG. 7A illustrates where to apply volume extension lashes 100 to create a gorgeous, natural, cute look using 3D lash fans in small size. As an example scenario the technician can first select lash case 101 that can create a particular look that the user specified. In this scenario, the technician can get a “3D Gorgeous, natural, cute look in Small size”. The technician can begin by removing volume extension lashes 100 from strip 106 starting from the bottom section of lash case 101. Then the technician can proceed with attaching each volume extension lashes 100 according to specific zone label 401 on lash case 101 onto the associated section on user's eyelids 300. This process can be repeated sequentially for each eyelids 300 starting from “O” section 105 d, then “M” sections 105 c, then “I” section 105 b, and lastly “C” section 105 a. In an embodiment wherein full set case 400 can be used, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 from “O” section 105 d can be attached on natural lashes within outer section 304. Next, five strips 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “M” section 105 c, which can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached within middle section 303. Then, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “I” section 105 b, which can be the same length with volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached within inner zone 302. Lastly, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “C” section 105 a, which can be the same length with volume extension lashes on outer section 304, can be attached on corner zone 301 of eyelids 300. As a non-limiting embodiment, each strip 106 of ten-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within each of outer section 304, inner section 302, and corner section 301, while five strips 106 of eleven millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within middle section 303.
Further in an embodiment wherein refill set case 500 can be used, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 from “O” section 105 d can be attached on natural lashes within outer section 304. Three strips 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “M” section 105 c, which can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached within middle section 303. Strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “I” section 105 b, which can be the same length with volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached within inner zone 302. Lastly, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “C” section 105 a, which can be the same length with volume extension lashes on outer section 304, can be attached on corner zone 301 of eyelids 300. As a non-limiting embodiment, each strip 106 of ten-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within each outer section 304, inner section 302, and corner section 301, while three strips 106 of eleven millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within middle section 303.
FIG. 7B illustrates where to apply volume extension lashes 100 to create a gorgeous, natural, cute look using 3D lash fans in medium size. In an embodiment wherein full set case 400 can be used, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 from “O” section 105 d can be attached on natural lashes within outer section 304. Next, five strips 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “M” section 105 c, which can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached within middle section 303. Then, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “I” section 105 b, which can be the same length with volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached within inner zone 302. Lastly, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 “C” section 105 a, which can be the one-millimeter shorter than volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached on corner zone 301 of eyelids 300. As a non-limiting embodiment, strip 106 of eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within outer section 304, another strip 106 of eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within inner section 302, while five strips 106 of twelve-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within middle section 303. Lastly, strip 106 of ten-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within corner section 301.
Further in an embodiment wherein refill set case 500 can be used, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 from “O” section 105 d can be attached on natural lashes within outer section 304. Three strips 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “M” section 105 c, which can be one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached within middle section 303. Then, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “I” section 105 b, which can be the same length with volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached within inner zone 302. Lastly, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 on “C” section 105 a, which can be the one-millimeter shorter than volume extension lashes 100 on outer section 304, can be attached on corner zone 301 of eyelids 300. As a non-limiting embodiment, strip 106 of eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within outer section 304, another strip 106 of eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within inner section 302, while three strips 106 of twelve-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within middle section 303. Lastly, strip 106 of ten-millimeters volume extension lashes 100 can be attached within corner section 301.
FIG. 7C illustrates where to apply volume extension lashes 100 to create a gorgeous, natural, cute look using 3D lash fans in large size. In an embodiment wherein full set case 400 can be used, strip 106 of volume extension lashes 100 from “O” section 105 d can be attached on natural lashes within outer section 304. As a non-limiting example, “O” section 105 d can comprise fourteen-millimeters volume extension lashes 100; while “M” section 105 c can comprise twelve-millimeters volume extension lashes 100, and “C” section 105 a can comprise eleven-millimeters volume extension lashes 100.
FIG. 12C illustrates an embodiment of lash cases 101 comprising large size 6D lash fans to create a sexy look. Using FIG. 12A as comparison, the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d of medium size 203 b lash case 101 can be two-millimeters longer than the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d of small size 203 a lash case 101. Further in this embodiment, the length of volume extension lashes 100 on “O” section 105 d can be two-millimeters longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “M’ section 105 c. Additionally, the length of volume extension 100 on “M” section 105 c can one-millimeter longer than volume extension lashes 100 on “C’ section 105 a. Some embodiments may combine the activities described herein as being separate steps. Similarly, one or more of the described steps may be omitted, depending upon the specific operational environment the method is being implemented in. Claims

1. A system for applying synthetic lashes comprising

a lash case comprising a plurality of sections, each of said section related to a zone on an eyelid, wherein each of said section arranged sequentially according to said zone on said eyelid of a user;

an adhesive strip on each of said section; and

a plurality of volume extension lashes attached to said strip.

2. The system of claim 1 wherein said plurality of sections on said lash case is divided into eight sections.

3. The system of claim 2 further wherein said eight sections comprises 160 pieces of said volume extension lashes, such that each of said eyelid of said user comprises 80 pieces of said plurality of volume extension lashes.

4. The system of claim 1 wherein said plurality of sections on said lash case is divided into a first group and a second group, further wherein a first six sections on said plurality of sections belongs on said first group and wherein a second six sections on said plurality of sections belongs on said second group.

5. The system of claim 4 wherein said first six sections comprises 60 pieces of said plurality of volume extension lashes, and wherein said second six sections comprises another 60 pieces of said plurality of volume extension lashes.

6. The system of claim 1 wherein each of said section on said plurality of sections of said lash case further comprises

a zone label that indicates said zone of said eyelid associated to each of said section; and

a length label that indicates a specific length of said plurality of volume extension on each of said section.

7. The system of claim 6 wherein said zone label on each of said section comprises a corner (“C”) section, a middle (“M”) section, and an outer (“O”) section, wherein using said plurality of volume extension lashes on said “C” section, said “M” section, and said “O” section creates a sexy look on said eyelids.

8. The system of claim 7 wherein said zone label on each of said section further comprises an inner (“I”) section, wherein using said plurality of volume extension lashes on said “C” section, said “I” section, said “M” section, and said “O” section creates a gorgeous, natural, cute look on said eyelids.

9. The system of claim 6 wherein each of said plurality of extension lashes 100 is a single-lash fan (1D).

10. The system of claim 6 wherein each of said plurality of extension lashes 100 is a multiple-lash fan.

11. The system of claim 10 wherein said multiple-lash fan comprises three synthetic lash strands.

12. The system of claim 10 wherein said multiple-lash fan comprises six synthetic lash strands.

13. A method of applying synthetic lashes comprising the steps of

selecting a lash case that creates a particular look, said lash case comprising

a plurality of sections, each of said section related to a zone on an eyelid, wherein each of said section arranged sequentially according to said zone on said eyelids of a user;

an adhesive strip on each of said section; and

a plurality of volume extension lashes attached to said strip;

removing each of said plurality of volume extension lashes from said strip; and

attaching each of said plurality of volume extension lashes onto a single natural lashes of said user according to said zone on each of said section, said zone associated to specific sections on said eyelids of said user.

14. The method of claim 13 wherein removing each of said plurality of volume extension lashes starts from one of said section at the bottom of said lash case.

15. The method of claim 13 wherein said section is an outer “O” section.

16. The method of claim 13 wherein each of said plurality of extension lashes is a single-lash fan (1D).

17. The system of claim 13 wherein each of said plurality of extension lashes is a multiple-lash fan.

18. The system of claim 13 wherein said multiple-lash fan comprises three synthetic lash strands.

19. The system of claim 13 wherein said multiple-lash fan comprises six synthetic lash strands.
