Abstract

Implementations of a phone pouch are provided.   • BACKGROUND
  • There are often situations when a clothing garment lacks a pocket or has pockets that are too small, shallow, or loose to securely carry around a mobile phone hands-free on-person.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Implementations of a phone pouch are provided. In some implementations, the phone pouch comprises an elongated material and at least one pocket on a first portion of the elongated material. For example, in some implementations, the phone pouch comprises a first elongated piece of material and a second piece of material attached to the first elongated piece of material. In some implementations, the second piece of material forms a pocket on a first portion of the first elongated piece of material.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch is rectangular. In some implementations, the phone pouch is any suitable shape.
  • In some implementations, the first portion of the phone pouch having the pocket is configured to hold or securely hold a mobile phone in the pocket.
  • In some implementations, a second portion of the phone pouch is configured to be inserted in or behind clothing worn by a user so that the mobile phone held by the pocket on the first portion of the phone pouch can be carried hands-free on-person by a user. In some implementations, the first portion is on a first side of the phone pouch and the second portion is on a second side of the phone pouch.
  • In some implementation, the phone pouch is configured to be positioned over a boundary (e.g., a waist portion) of clothing. That is, in some implementations, the phone pouch is configured such that the second side of the phone pouch can be inserted in or behind an item of clothing worn by a user and the first side can be positioned exterior to the item of clothing. In some implementations, the phone pouch comprises a first pocket on a first side of the elongated material on a front side and a second pocket on a second side of the elongated material on a front side. In some implementations, the first pocket on a first side of the elongated material on a front side and the second pocket on a second side of the elongated material on a front side extend in opposite directions.
  • In some implementations, one or both sides of the phone pouch may comprise two or more pockets. In some implementations, at least one of the pockets on one or both sides of the phone pouch may be configured to hold or securely hold a mobile phone. In some implementations, at least one of the pockets on one or both sides of the phone pouch may be configured to hold or securely hold other items such as a key, credit card, glasses, medication such as an Epi-pen or inhaler, or any other suitable item.
  • In some implementations, the two or more pockets on one side of the phone pouch on a front side may be stacked on top of each other. In some implementations, the front outer pocket may be more shallow (i.e., less deep) than the back inner pocket of the stacked pockets.
  • In some implementations, one side of the phone pouch on a front side may comprise the same number of pockets as the other side of the phone pouch on a front side. In some implementations, one side of the phone pouch on a front side may comprise a different number of pockets than the other side of the phone pouch on a front side.
  • In some implementations, the end of the phone pouch that is tucked into or behind the clothing may include one or more weights to help keep the end of the phone pouch in place.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch is made of a soft, stretchy material configured to hug the mobile phone snugly and to pivot with the motions of the user.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch can be embellished, branded, or made in different colors or fabric patterns for style.
  • In some implementations, an example use of the phone pouch comprises inserting the second portion of the phone pouch into or behind an item of clothing worn by the user and positioning the first portion of the phone pouch having the pocket exterior to the clothing. In this way, a portion of the phone pouch hangs over the boundary of the item of clothing and outside of the item of clothing for holding a mobile phone. For example, in some implementations, the phone pouch may be worn by inserting a first end of the phone pouch into or behind the pants of a user and positioning a second, opposite end of the phone pouch exterior to the pants such that the phone pouch hangs over the waistband and outside of the pants. In some implementations, a phone may be inserted into a pocket on the phone pouch exterior to the pants to carry the mobile phone hands-free on-person by the user.
  • In this way, in some implementations, the phone pouch of the present disclosure provides a way for a user to securely carry a mobile phone hands-free on-person. This may be useful when the user's clothing lacks a pocket or has pockets that are too small, shallow, or loose for a user to carry a mobile phone hands-free on-person.
  • FIGS. 1A-1J illustrate an implementation of an example phone pouch 100 according to the present disclosure. FIG. 1A illustrates a front side 130 of the phone pouch in a flat configuration. FIG. 1B illustrates a back side 132 of the phone pouch 100. FIGS. 1C through 1F illustrate a prospective view of the phone pouch 100 in a folded configuration. FIG. 1G illustrates a side view of the phone pouch 100 in a folded configuration. FIG. 1H illustrates a front view of the phone pouch 100 in a folded configuration.   • In some implementations, as shown in FIGS. 1A, the phone pouch 100 comprises an elongated material 102 and at least one pocket (e.g., pocket 108) on a first portion 106 of the elongated material 102 on a front side 130. For example, in some implementations, the phone pouch 100 comprises a first elongated piece of material 102 and a second piece of material 104 attached to the first elongated piece of material 102. In some implementations, the second piece of material 104 forms a pocket 108 on a first portion 106 of the first elongated piece of material 102 on the front side 130.
  • In some implementations, as shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, the first piece of material 102 comprises a left edge 122 having a first end and a second end; a right edge 124, opposite the left edge 122, and having a first end and a second end; a top edge 126 extending from the first end of the left edge 122 to the first end of the right edge 124; a bottom edge 128, opposite the top edge 125 and extending from the second end of the left edge 122 to the second end of the right edge 124; a front side 130 bounded by the left edge 122, right edge 124, top edge 126, and bottom edge 128; and a back side 132, opposite the front side 130 and bounded by the left edge 122, right edge 124, top edge 126, and bottom edge 128.
  • As shown in FIG. 1H, in some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is thin. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is elongated. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is rectangular-shaped. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is any suitable shape. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is flexible. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 has any other suitable quality as discussed in greater detail below.
  • In some implementations, as shown in FIG. 1H, similar to the first piece of material 102, the second piece of material 104 having a front side 146 and back side 148 is bounded by a left edge 138, a right edge 140, a top edge 142, a bottom edge 144. In some implementations, the length 150 of the second piece of material 104 is less than the length 134 of the first piece of material 102.
  • In some implementations, the left edge 138 of the second piece of material 104 is attached adjacent to (i.e., on or near) the left edge 122 of the first piece of material 102. In some implementations, the bottom edge 144 of the second piece of material 104 is attached adjacent to the bottom edge 128 of the first piece of material 102. In some implementations, the right edge 140 of the second piece of material 104 is attached adjacent to the right edge 124 of the first piece of material 102.
  • In some implementations, the top edge 142 of the second piece of material 104 forms an opening 154 of the first pocket 108 along a portion of the width 136 of the first piece of material 102.
  • As discussed above, in some implementations, the second piece of material 104 forms the first pocket 108 on the first piece of material 102 within a first portion 106 of the phone pouch 100.
  • In some implementations, the second piece of material 104 is flexible. In some implementations, the second piece of material 104 has any other suitable quality.
  • As shown in FIG. 1C and 1D and discussed in more detail below, in some implementations, the first portion 106 of the phone pouch having the pocket (e.g., pocket 108) is configured to hold or securely hold a mobile phone 302 in the pocket. For example, in some implementations, the length 150 and/or width 152 of the second piece of material 104 is configured so that the mobile phone 302 snugly fits in the first pocket 108 of the phone pouch 100 formed by the second piece of material 104. Furthermore, as discussed further below, in some implementations, the phone pouch 100 is composed of one or more materials configured so that the mobile phone 302 is snugly held in the first pocket 108.
  • As will be discussed further below with reference to FIG. 3, in some implementations, a second portion 110 of the phone pouch is configured to be inserted in or behind clothing worn by a user so that the mobile phone held by the pocket on the first portion 106 of the phone pouch 100 can be carried hands-free on-person by a user. In some implementations, the first portion 106 is on a first side of the phone pouch 100 and the second portion 110 is on a second side of the phone pouch.
  • In some implementation, the phone pouch 100 is configured to be positioned over a boundary (e.g., a waist portion) of clothing. That is, in some implementations, the phone pouch 100 is configured such that the second side of the phone pouch 100 can be inserted in or behind an item of clothing worn by a user and the first side can be positioned exterior to the item of clothing. In this way, the second side of the phone pouch 100 is tucked inside of behind an item of clothing worn by a user and the first side of phone pouch hangs over the boundary of the item of clothing and outside of the item of clothing.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 100 comprises at least one pocket (e.g., pocket 108) on one side of the elongated material 102 on a front side 130 where the pocket (e.g., pocket 108) is configured to insert a mobile phone 302. In some implementations, the phone pouch 100 comprises a first pocket (e.g., pocket 108) on a first side of the elongated material 102 on a front side 130 and a second pocket (e.g., pocket 114) on a second side of the elongated material 102 on a front side 130. For example, in some implementations, the phone pouch 100 further comprises a third piece of material 112 attached to the first piece of material 102 on a front side 130 to form a second pocket 114.
  • In some implementations, as shown in FIG. 1I, similar to the first piece of material 102, the third piece of material 112 having a front side 164 and a back side 166 is bounded by a left edge 156, a right edge 158, a top edge 160, a bottom edge 162. In some implementations, the length 168 of the third piece of material 112 is less than the length 134 of the first piece of material 102.
  • In some implementations, the left edge 156 of the third piece of material 112 is attached adjacent to (i.e., on or near) the right edge 124 of the first piece of elongated material 102. In some implementations, the bottom edge 162 of the third piece of material 112 is attached adjacent to the top edge 126 of the first piece of elongated material 102. In some implementations, the right edge 158 of the third piece of material 112 is attached adjacent to the left edge 122 of the first piece of elongated material 102. In some implementations, the top edge 160 of the third piece of material 112 forms an opening 172 of the second pocket 114 along a portion of the width 136 of the first piece of elongated material 102. In this way, the third piece of material 112 forms the second pocket 114 on the first piece of material 102 within a second portion 110 of the phone pouch 100.
  • In some implementations, as shown in FIGS. 1E and 1F, the second pocket 114 further comprises a closure or fastener 176 configured to close or partially close the opening 172 of the second pocket 114. In some implementations, the closure may be a snap closure, a button closure, a zipper closure, a hook and loop closure, or any other suitable closure configured to close or partially close the opening 172 of the second pocket 114.
  • In some implementations, the first pocket (e.g., pocket 108) on a first side of the elongated material 102 on a front side 130 and the second pocket (e.g., pocket 114) on a second side of the elongated material 102 on a front side 130 extend in opposite directions.
  • In some implementations, one or both sides of the phone pouch 100 may comprise two or more pockets. For example, as shown in FIG. 1A, a first side 106 may comprise a plurality of pockets (e.g., pockets 108, 118) and/or a second side 110 may comprise a plurality of pockets (e.g., pockets 114, 118). For example, in some implementations, the phone pouch 100 further comprises additional pieces of material 112 attached to the first piece of material on a front side 130 to form additional pockets as discussed above.
  • As discussed above and in more detail below, in some implementations, at least one of the pockets on one or both sides of the phone pouch may be configured to hold or securely hold a mobile phone. As shown in FIG. 1E and 1F and discussed in more detail below, in some implementations, at least one of the pockets (e.g., pocket 114) on one or both sides of the phone pouch may be configured to hold or securely hold other items such as a credit card 116, key (not shown), glasses (not shown), medication (not show) such as an Epi-pen or inhaler, or any other suitable item. For example, in some implementations, the length 168 and/or width 170 of the third piece of material 112 is configured so that the one or more of the credit card 116, the key, or the pair of eyeglasses snugly fits in the second pocket 114 of the phone pouch 100. Furthermore, as discussed further below, in some implementations, the phone pouch 100 is composed of one or more materials configured so that the one or more of the credit card 116, the key, or the pair of eyeglasses is snugly held in the second pocket 114. In some implementations, as represented in FIG. 1F, the second pocket 114 is configured to securely hold one or more of another item 174, such as an inhaler, an Epi-pen, or any other suitable item.
  • In some implementations, the two or more pockets on one side of the phone pouch 100 on a front side 130 may be stacked on top of each other. For example, in some implementations, a third piece of material 112 may be attached to the second piece of material 104 within the first portion 106 of the phone pouch 100 to form a second pocket 118 on top of the first pocket 108. In some implementations, the left edge 156 of the third piece of material 112 is attached adjacent to (i.e., on or near) the left edge 138 of the second piece of material 104. In some implementations, the bottom edge 162 of the third piece of material 112 is attached adjacent to the bottom edge 144 of the second piece of material 104. In some implementations, the right edge 158 of the third piece of material 112 is attached adjacent to the right edge 140 of the second piece of material 104. In some implementations, the top edge 160 of the third piece of material 112 forms an opening 172 of the second pocket 118 along the width 152 of the second piece of material 104.
  • In some implementations, the third piece of material 112 is flexible. In some implementations, the third piece of material 112 has any other suitable quality.
  • In some implementations, the second pocket 118 may have the same length and/or width as the first pocket 108. In some implementations, the second pocket 118 may a different length and/or width than the first pocket 108. In some implementations, the one or more additional pockets 118 may have different lengths and/or widths.
  • In some implementations, the front outer pocket 118 may be more shallow (i.e., less deep) than the back inner pocket 108 of the stacked pockets.
  • In some implementations, one side of the phone pouch 100 on a front side 130 may comprise the same number of pockets as the other side of the phone pouch on a front side 130. In some implementations, one side of the phone pouch 100 on a front side 130 may comprise a different number of pockets than the other side of the phone pouch 100 on a front side 130.
  • In some implementations, as shown in FIG. 1I, the phone pouch 100 further comprises a weighted portion 120. In some implementations, the weighted portion 120 comprises a closed pouch or compartment 120 containing weighted material. In some implementations, the weighted portion 120 may comprise weighted material sewn or otherwise attached to the first piece of elongated material 102. In some implementations, the weighted portion 120 comprises one or more removable weights. In some implementations, the one or more of removable weights may be housed in the second pocket 114 within the second portion 110 or any pocket of the phone pouch 100. In some implementations, the one or more removable weights may be removably attached by any other suitable manner.
  • In some implementations, the weighted portion 120 is located adjacent to (e.g., at or near) the top edge 126 of the first piece of elongated material 102.
  • In some implementations, the weighted portion 120 is configured to counter-weight the phone pouch 100 to keep the second portion 110 of the phone pouch 100 inserted in or behind clothing worn by a user of the phone pouch 100. In some implementations, the weighted portion 120 weighs at least 4.25 ounces. In some implementations, the weighted portion 120 weighs less than 4.25 ounces. In some implementations, the weighted portion 120 is sufficient to offset the weight of a phone inserted on the opposite end.
  • In some implementations, the weighted material may be stainless steel. In some implementations, the weighted material may be any suitable metal or other material. In some implementations, the weighted material may be any suitable material having any suitable weight to counter-weight the phone pouch 100 as described above.
  • In some implementations, the one or more weighted material may be round-shaped. In some implementations, the one or more weighted material may be any other suitable shape. In some implementations, the weighted pieces may each have the same weight. For example, in some implementations, each of the weighted pieces may weigh one (1) ounce or any other suitable weight that is less than or greater than one ounce.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates another implementation of an example phone pouch 200 according to the present disclosure.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 200 comprises the same or similar elements and features as described above for the phone pouch 100 of FIGS. 1A-1J except that the phone pouch 200 further comprises a fourth piece of material 212 attached to the first elongated piece of material 102, 202 to form a carry loop 234. For example, in some implementations, the phone pouch 200 comprises a first piece of material 202, a second piece of material 204, a first pocket 208, a first portion 206, and a second portion 210 that are the same or similar to the first piece of elongated material 102, the second piece of material 104, the first pocket 108, the first portion 106, and the second portion 110, respectively, of the phone pouch 100 of FIGS. 1A-1J.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 200 further comprises other of the same or similar elements and features as described above for the phone pouch 100 of FIGS. 1A-1J.
  • In some implementations, as introduced above, the phone pouch 200 further comprises a fourth piece of material 212 attached to the first piece of material 202.
  • In some implementations, the fourth piece of material 212 is configured to form a loop 234. In some implementations, loop 234 is configured to support a keychain 206 or a pair of eyeglasses 208 that may be hung on the loop 234.
  • In some implementations, the loop 234 may be attached to any other suitable part of the phone pouch 200.
  • In some implementations, the loop 234 may be configured to support any other suitable item that can be hung through or otherwise connected to the loop 234.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 200 may comprise more than one loop 234. For example, in some implementations, the phone pouch 200 may comprise a first loop 234 attached to the left edge 218 of the first piece of material 204 and a second loop 234 attached to the right edge 220 of the first piece of material 204
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 100, 200 can have any suitable dimensions.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 100, 200 (e.g., the first piece of material 102, the second piece of material 104, and/or the third or additional pieces of material 112) is composed of any suitable materials. For example, in some implementations, the phone pouch 100, 200 is composed of a soft, stretchy material such as a dense Cotton, a Spandex blended fabric, a heavy Cotton, Polyester, a Spandex blend, or a durable Cotton, Polyester, and/or Elastene blend.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 100, 200 is composed of a fabric that is a soft, high-density, four-way stretch performance fabric that is a polyester/spandex (or elastane) blend. In some implementations, the blend can range between 85%-90% polyester and 15%-10% spandex (or elastane) blend.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 100, 200 may be composed of a material that is a water-resistant or water proof fabric that includes Spandex or Elastene in a fabric blend.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 100, 200 may be composed of a performance fabric that is soft and stretchy.
  • In some implementations, the phone pouch 100, 200 may be composed of a radio frequency identification (RFID) blocking fabric to prevent electronic pick-pocketing of items carried in the phone pouch 100, 200 such as a credit card.

  • FIG. 3 illustrates an implementation of an example use of the phone pouch 100, 200 according to the present disclosure.
  • In some implementations, an example method of using the phone pouch 100 comprises, as shown in FIG. 1E, folding the first piece of material 102 to form a first portion 106 that includes the first pocket 108 and a second portion 110 of the phone pouch 100. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is folded width-wise. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is fold in half (i.e., folded at the length 134 of the first piece of material 102). In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is folded so that the first portion 106 on the front side 130 faces opposite to the second portion 110 on the front side 130.
  • In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is folded so that the back side 132 of the first piece of material 102 is internal and the front side 130 of the first piece of material 102 is external or exposed.
  • In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is folded so that the second portion 110 of the phone pouch 100 can be inserted into or behind the clothing (e.g. clothing 306) worn by a user 304 of the phone pouch 100. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is folded so that the back side 132 of the first piece of material 102 positions over a boundary (e.g., a waist portion 308) of the clothing. In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is folded so that the first portion 106 of the phone pouch 100 positions outside of the clothing with a pocket on the first portion 106 (e.g., pocket 108, 308) facing outward away from the clothing.
  • In some implementations, the first piece of material 102 is folded so that a mobile phone 302 can be securely carried hands-free on-person by the user 304 in a pocket on the first portion 106 (e.g., pocket 308) of the phone pouch 100.
  • In some implementations, the clothing is a pair of pants or a skirt. In some implementations, the clothing is any other item of clothing. In some implementations, a boundary of clothing comprises a waist portion of pants or a skirt, a portion of a neckline of a shirt, or any other edge, hem, or boundary of clothing. In some implementations, the waist portion 308 comprises a waistband of the clothing 306.
  • In some implementations, an example method of using the phone pouch 100 comprises inserting or tucking the second portion 110 of the phone pouch 100 into or behind the clothing (e.g., clothing 306) worn by the user 304 of the phone pouch 100. In some implementations, the second portion 110 is inserted into or behind the clothing 306 so that the back side 132 of the first piece of elongated material 102 positions over a boundary (e.g., a waist portion 308) of the clothing. In some implementations, the second portion 110 is inserted into or behind the clothing so that the first portion 106 of the phone pouch 100 positions outside of the clothing with a pocket on the first portion 106 (e.g., pocket 108, 308) of the phone pouch 100 facing outward away from the clothing.
  • In some implementations, the method comprises inserting the mobile phone 302 into a pocket on the first portion 106 of the phone pouch 100. In some implementations, the mobile phone 302 is inserted into a pocket on the first portion 106 to securely carry the mobile phone 302 hands-free on-person by the user 304 of the phone pouch 100.
  • In some implementations, the method comprises inserting a credit card (e.g., credit card 116), a key (not shown), or a pair of eyeglasses (not shown) into a second pocket of the phone pouch 100. In some implementations, a credit card, a key, or a pair of eyeglasses is inserted into a second pocket to securely carry the item in the phone pouch 100.
  • In some implementations, one or more of any other suitable item is inserted into a second pocket to securely carry the item in the phone pouch 100.
  • In some implementations, an example method of using the phone pouch 200 of FIG. 2 comprises hanging a keychain 206 or the pair of eyeglasses 208 from the loop 234 of the phone pouch 200. In some implementations, the keychain 206 or the pair of eyeglasses 208 is hung from the loop 234 so that the keychain 206 or the pair of eyeglasses 208 hangs outside of the clothing worn by the user of the phone pouch 200.
  • In some implementations, any other suitable item is hung from the loop 234 of the phone pouch 200.

  • While operations may be depicted in the drawings in a particular order, this should not be understood as requiring that such operations be performed in the particular order shown or in sequential order, or that all illustrated operations be performed, to achieve desirable results.

Claims (12)

1. A phone pouch for securely carrying a mobile phone, the phone pouch comprising:
a first piece of elongated material having a front side and a back side, opposite the front side wherein the first piece of elongated material comprises a left edge extending length-wise and having a first end and a second end; a right edge, extending length-wise opposite the left edge and having a first end and a second end; a top edge extending width-wise from the first end of the left edge to the first end of the right edge; a bottom edge, extending width-wise opposite the top edge and extending from the second end of the left edge to the second end of the right edge wherein the front side is bounded by the left edge, right edge, top edge, and bottom edge; and the back side is bounded by the left edge, right edge, top edge, and bottom edge;
and at least one pocket on a first portion of the first piece of elongated material on the front side of the first piece of elongated material, wherein the at least one pocket on the first portion of the first piece of elongated material extends in a first direction and wherein the at least one pocket is configured to hold a mobile phone; and
at least one pocket on a second portion of the first piece of elongated material on the front side of the first piece of elongated material wherein the at least one pocket on the second portion of the first piece of elongated material extends in a second direction opposite the first direction.
2. The phone pouch of claim 1 comprising at least two pockets on the first portion of the first piece of elongated material on the front side of the first piece of elongated material, wherein the at least two pockets on the first portion of the first piece of elongated material extends in the first direction, wherein at least one of the at least two pockets is configured to hold a mobile phone, and wherein the at least two pockets are stacked, the phone pouch further comprising at least two pockets on the second portion of the first piece of elongated material on the second side of the first piece of elongated material, wherein the at least two pockets on the second portion of the first piece of elongated material extends in the second direction, opposite the first direction and the at least two pockets are stacked.
3. The phone pouch of claim 2 further comprises at least one loop extending from the first piece of elongated material.
4. The phone pouch of claim 3 further comprises at least two loops extending from right side and left side, respectively, of the first piece of elongated material.
5. The phone pouch of claim 2 further comprises a weighted portion on the second portion of the first piece of elongated material.
6. The phone pouch of claim 5 wherein the weighted portion is removable.
7. The phone pouch of claim 2 wherein at least one pocket includes a fastener configured to close or partially close the opening of the pocket.
8. A method of using the phone pouch of claim 1, the method comprising:
folding the first piece of elongated material width-wise so that the first portion on the front side of the first piece of elongated material faces opposite to the second portion on the front side of the first piece of elongated material;
inserting the second portion of the first piece of elongated material into or behind clothing worn by a user;
positioning the first portion of the first piece of elongated material outside of the clothing with the at least one pocket on the first portion facing outward;
resting a position of the back side of the first piece of elongated material on a boundary of the clothing; and
inserting a mobile phone into a pocket of the at least one pocket on the first portion of the first piece of elongated material.
9. A method of using the phone pouch of claim 1, the method comprising inserting a credit card into a pocket on the first portion or second portion of the first piece of elongated material.
10. The method of claim 8 wherein the phone pouch comprises at least one loop extending from the first piece of elongated material, the method further comprising hanging an item from the at least one loop.
11. A phone pouch for securely carrying a mobile phone, the phone pouch comprising:
an first piece of elongated material having a front side and a back side, opposite the front side wherein the first piece of elongated material comprises a left edge extending length-wise and having a first end and a second end; a right edge, extending length-wise opposite the left edge and having a first end and a second end; a top edge extending width-wise from the first end of the left edge to the first end of the right edge; a bottom edge, extending width-wise opposite the top edge and extending from the second end of the left edge to the second end of the right edge wherein the front side is bounded by the left edge, right edge, top edge, and bottom edge; and the back side is bounded by the left edge, right edge, top edge, and bottom edge;
at least two pockets on the first portion of the first piece of elongated material on the front side of the first piece of elongated material, wherein the at least two pockets on the first portion of the first piece of elongated material extends in the first direction, wherein at least one of the at least two pockets is configured to hold a mobile phone, and wherein the at least two pockets are stacked,
at least two pockets on the second portion of the first piece of elongated material on the second side of the first piece of elongated material, wherein the at least two pockets on the second portion of the first piece of elongated material extends in the second direction, opposite the first direction and the at least two pockets are stacked;
at least one loop extending from the first piece of elongated material; and
a weighted portion on the second portion of the first piece of elongated material.
12. A method of using the phone pouch of claim 11, the method comprising:
folding the first piece of elongated material width-wise so that the first portion on the front side of the first piece of elongated material faces opposite to the second portion on the front side of the first piece of elongated material;
inserting the second portion of the first piece of elongated material into or behind clothing worn by a user;
positioning the first portion of the first piece of elongated material outside of the clothing with the at least one pocket on the first portion facing outward;
resting a position of the back side of the first piece of elongated material on a boundary of the clothing;
inserting a mobile phone into a pocket of the at least one pocket on the first portion of the first piece of elongated material;
inserting a credit card into a pocket on the first portion or second portion of the first piece of elongated material; and
hanging an item from the at least one loop.
