- Referring to
FIG. 1 , an atomizer includes ahousing assembly 10, anisolating assembly 20 and an atomizingassembly 30. Theisolating assembly 20 is positioned within thehousing assembly 10, and anair intake passage 22 is formed between theisolating assembly 20 and thehousing assembly 10. The atomizingassembly 30 is positioned within the isolatingassembly 20, and aliquid storage chamber 23 is formed between the atomizingassembly 30 and the isolatingassembly 20. Therefore, the isolatingassembly 20 can effectively isolate theair intake passage 22 from theliquid storage chamber 23, to avoid an interference between the air intake passage and the liquid storage chamber, thereby improving an operational reliability of the electronic cigarette. - Specifically, the
housing assembly 10 includes anupper cover 17, a firstexternal sleeve 241, and abottom cover 245. Theupper cover 17 and thebottom cover 245 are positioned on the upper end and the lower end of the firstexternal sleeve 241, respectively. As shown inFIG. 1 , the firstexternal sleeve 241 defines anair intake hole 11 at an upper end of the firstexternal sleeve 241, theair intake hole 11 fluidly communicates with theair intake passage 22, for air intake. Because theair intake hole 11 is positioned on the upper end of the firstexternal sleeve 241, thus, even when the liquid in theliquid storage chamber 23 is leaked into theair intake passage 22 by gravity, the liquid gathers in thebottom cover 245, and does not leak out from theair intake hole 11. Thebottom cover 245 is provided with anassembly protrusion 359 at an upper end of thebottom cover 245, theassembly protrusion 359 protrudes upwardly along an axial direction of the atomizer. - It should be noted that, the
bottom cover 245 can be detachably assembled. If the atomizer breaks down, when thebottom cover 245 gathers a predetermined amount of leaked liquid, user can disassemble thebottom cover 245 to clear the liquid. - Alternatively, the
housing assembly 10 further includes amouth piece 18 positioned on an upper end of theupper cover 17. Themouth piece 18 can also be omitted. User can directly suck on the protrusion of theupper cover 17. - In the illustrated embodiment as shown in
FIG. 1 , the isolatingassembly 20 includes a firstinternal sleeve 247 within the firstexternal sleeve 241, theair intake passage 22 is formed between the firstinternal sleeve 247 and the firstexternal sleeve 241, such that, airflow enters the atomizer via theair intake hole 11, and flows into the atomizingassembly 30 via theair intake passage 22. - In the illustrated embodiment as shown in
FIG. 1 , the atomizingassembly 30 includes anatomizing sleeve 31 and anatomizing head 35. Theatomizing sleeve 31 is a hollow structure having two openings at opposite ends, and substantially has a trumpet shape. Theatomizing sleeve 31 is positioned within the firstinternal sleeve 247, the upper end of the firstinternal sleeve 247 resists theupper cover 17, the lower end of the firstinternal sleeve 247 resists the lower end of theatomizing sleeve 31, (specifically, the lower end of the firstinternal sleeve 247 resists a trumpet opening of the lower end of the atomizing sleeve, the trumpet opening opens outwardly). Therefore, theatomizing sleeve 31, the firstinternal sleeve 247 and theupper cover 17 forms theliquid storage chamber 23 cooperatively. In order to improve an air-tightness between the atomizingsleeve 31 and the firstinternal sleeve 247, a sealing member (not shown) is positioned between the atomizingsleeve 31 and the firstinternal sleeve 247. The upper end of theatomizing sleeve 31 is connected to theupper cover 17. The lower end of theatomizing sleeve 31 is connected to the circumferential surface of theassembly protrusion 359. Theatomizing sleeve 31 forms anatomizing chamber 244 in the inner chamber of theatomizing sleeve 31. Theatomizing chamber 244 fluidly communicates with themouth piece 18. The atomizinghead 35 is positioned in theatomizing chamber 244, and the lower end of the atomizinghead 35 is connected to the internal circumferential surface of theassembly protrusion 359. The smog generated by the liquid which is atomized by the atomizinghead 35 can flow out via theatomizing chamber 244, and themouth piece 18, for user to suck on. - The atomizing
head 35 includes a supportingpipe 351, aliquid guiding member 352, aheater 353, and anelectrode contacting member 354 electrically connected to theheater 353. When the supportingpipe 351 is assembled in theatomizing sleeve 31, the lower end of the supportingpipe 351 is connected to the internal circumferential surface of theassembly protrusion 359. Theliquid guiding member 352 is sleeved on theheater 353, the supportingpipe 351 is sleeved on theliquid guiding member 352, the internal circumferential surface of theliquid guiding member 352 abuts theheater 353, the circumferential surface of theliquid guiding member 352 abuts the supportingpipe 351. Theatomizing sleeve 31 defines aliquid intake hole 311, the supportingpipe 351 defines aliquid passing hole 355, thus the liquid in theliquid storage chamber 23 flows to theliquid guiding member 352 via theliquid intake hole 311 and the liquid passinghole 355. Theheater 353 can be driven by the electric to heat up the liquid in theliquid storage chamber 23 to form the smog. Theelectrode contacting member 354 is positioned on the lower end of the supportingpipe 351, theelectrode contacting member 354 passes through theassembly protrusion 359 and extends into thebottom cover 245. An insulating member (not labeled) is positioned between theelectrode contacting member 354 and the supportingpipe 351. Theelectrode contacting member 354 defines aventilation hole 356 fluidly communicating with theatomizing chamber 244. Thebottom cover 245 defines aventilation groove 243 which fluidly communicates with theair intake passage 22 and theventilation hole 356. Outside airflow flows into theatomizing chamber 244 via theair intake hole 11, theair intake passage 22, theventilation groove 243 and theventilation hole 356. The airflow is mixed with the smog and flows out from themouth piece 18 for user to suck on. Because the outside airflow flows into the atomizer via the lower end of theatomizing chamber 244 and flows out from the upper end of atomizingchamber 244, the airflow flows through thewhole atomizing head 35; thus, the outside airflow can completely carries the smog generated from the liquid which is atomized by the atomizinghead 35, the flavor is improved, a waste of the smog is avoided. Thus, the following situation can be avoided: when the smog cannot be carried out completely, the residual smog is condensed to form liquid after the electronic cigarette is disused, and causes theatomizing chamber 244 to produce liquid accumulation. Further, even if the liquid accumulation is formed, user can disassemble thebottom cover 245 to clear the liquid. - The second embodiment provides another atomizer, the specific structure is illustrated as follows:
- Referring to
FIG. 2 throughFIG. 6 , the atomizer includes ahousing assembly 10, an isolatingassembly 20 and anatomizing assembly 30. The isolatingassembly 20 is positioned in thehousing assembly 10, and anair intake passage 22 is formed between the isolatingassembly 20 and thehousing assembly 10. The atomizingassembly 30 is positioned in the isolatingassembly 20, and aliquid storage chamber 23 is formed between the atomizingassembly 30 and the isolatingassembly 20. Therefore, the isolatingassembly 20 can effectively isolate theair intake passage 22 from theliquid storage chamber 23, to avoid an interference between the air intake passage and the liquid storage chamber, thereby improving an operational reliability of the electronic cigarette. - The difference between the first embodiment and the second embodiment is that, in the second embodiment, beside the
upper cover 17, the firstexternal sleeve 241, and thebottom cover 245, thehousing assembly 10 further includes a secondexternal sleeve 27. Besides the firstinternal sleeve 247, the isolatingassembly 20 further includes a secondinternal sleeve 26. Besides theatomizing sleeve 31 and the atomizinghead 35, the atomizingassembly 30 further includes aventilation pipe 25. An additionalair intake passage 221 is formed between the secondinternal sleeve 26 and the secondexternal sleeve 27. An additionalliquid storage chamber 211 is formed between the secondinternal sleeve 26 and theventilation pipe 25. The secondinternal sleeve 26 is positioned on the upper end of the firstinternal sleeve 247, the secondexternal sleeve 27 is positioned on the upper end of the firstexternal sleeve 241, theventilation pipe 25 is positioned on the upper end of theatomizing sleeve 31, thereby causing the additionalair intake passage 221 to fluidly communicate with theair intake passage 22, causing the additionalliquid storage chamber 211 to fluidly communicate with theliquid storage chamber 23, The lumen of theventilation pipe 25 fluidly communicates with theatomizing chamber 244. Therefore, when user expect to increase the liquid storage volume, the secondinternal sleeve 26 and theventilation pipe 25 can be assembled, thereby the additionalliquid storage chamber 211 can be obtained. At the time, the user can further assembly the secondexternal sleeve 27 for improve an integrality of the appearance of the atomizer. - Referring to
FIG. 12 andFIG. 13 , the firstinternal sleeve 247 is provided with a plurality of protrudingflanges 248 at an external surface of the firstinternal sleeve 247. The protrudingflange 248 extends along an axial direction of the firstinternal sleeve 247. The number of the plurality of protrudingflanges 248 is at least two, the plurality of protrudingflanges 248 are uniformly disturbed on the circumferential surface of the firstinternal sleeve 247. The plurality of protruding flanges 24 are spaced from each other. Every two adjacent protrudingflanges 248 forms aventilation recess 249 there-between, theair intake passage 22 is formed between theventilation recess 249 and the firstexternal sleeve 241. The protrudingflange 248 tightly engages the firstexternal sleeve 241 for fixing the firstinternal sleeve 247. The upper end of the firstinternal sleeve 247 is provided with adome 246, the external circumference of thedome 246 is provided anassembly groove 2462, theassembly groove 2462 is arranged along the circumferential direction of the firstinternal sleeve 247. The center of thedome 246 defines anassembly hole 2461 and aliquid passing groove 2463, theliquid passing groove 2463 is positioned between theassembly groove 2462 and theassembly hole 2461. The secondinternal sleeve 26 extends into theassembly groove 2462. Alternatively, when the firstinternal sleeve 247 is processed, the protrudingflange 248 can be formed on the firstinternal sleeve 247 by injection molding or stamping. - Referring to
FIG. 5 andFIG. 6 , theatomizing sleeve 31 has a substantially convex shape. The upper end of theatomizing sleeve 31 extends into theassembly hole 2461, theventilation pipe 25 extends into the upper end of theatomizing sleeve 31, for the lumen of theventilation pipe 25 to fluidly communicate with theatomizing chamber 244. The atomizinghead 35 is positioned in theatomizing chamber 244, and specifically positioned on the lower end of theatomizing sleeve 31. Theliquid storage chamber 23 and the additionalliquid storage chamber 211 are communicated with each other via theliquid passing groove 2463, causing the liquid in the additionalliquid storage chamber 211 to flow into theliquid storage chamber 23 via theliquid passing groove 2463, thereby accomplishing a replenishment for theliquid storage chamber 23. In the illustrated embodiment, in order to facilitate for user to observe the liquid volume in the additionalliquid storage chamber 211, in order to timely supply the liquid, the secondinternal sleeve 26 and the secondexternal sleeve 27 are made of transparent or translucent materials, for example, the material is glass. Accordingly, in the first embodiment, the firstinternal sleeve 241 and the firstinternal sleeve 247 are made of transparent or translucent materials, facilitating for user to observe the liquid in theliquid storage chamber 23. - The difference between the first embodiment and the second embodiment is further that, in the second embodiment, the atomizing
head 35 has a structure different from that in the first embodiment. As shown inFIG. 7 throughFIG. 11 , the atomizinghead 35 includes anassembly seat 357, aliquid guiding member 352 and aheater 353. Theassembly seat 357 is provided with anassembly post 358 protruding upwardly from an upper end of theassembly seat 357 along an axial direction of theassembly seat 357. Theheater 353 is wound about theliquid guiding member 352, and opposite ends of theheater 353 are fixed to theassembly post 358. - Because the structure of the atomizing
head 35 is different from that in the first embodiment, therefore, the matching mode between the atomizinghead 35 and the first internal sleeve 347, theatomizing sleeve 31 and thebottom cover 245 is different from that in the first embodiment. - Specifically, the
assembly seat 357 includes a first isolatingplate 333 and a second isolatingplate 332. Both the first isolatingplate 333 and the second isolatingplate 332 extend outwardly along a radial direction of theassembly seat 357. The first isolatingplate 333 is positioned above the second isolatingplate 332. The first isolatingplate 333 has an external diameter less than that of the second isolatingplate 332. The lower end of theatomizing sleeve 31 tightly engages the circumferential surface of the first isolatingplate 333. The lower end of the firstinternal sleeve 247 tightly engages the circumferential surface of the first isolatingplate 333. The upper end of theassembly seat 357 defines aliquid intake groove 32 fluidly communicating with agap 334 between the first isolatingplate 333 and the second isolatingplate 332. Opposite ends of theliquid guiding member 352 are latched in theliquid intake groove 32. Therefore, the liquid in theliquid storage chamber 23 flows into thegap 334 between the first isolatingplate 333 and the second isolatingplate 332, and can be absorbed by theliquid guiding member 352 which is clamped by theliquid intake groove 32. Theassembly seat 357 further defines anair passing hole 34 extending along an axial direction of theassembly seat 357, theair passing hole 34 cuts through opposite ends of theassembly seat 357. Theair passing hole 34 fluidly communicates with theatomizing chamber 244 and theair intake passage 22. Theair passing hole 34 is isolated from thegap 334 between the first isolatingplate 333 and the second isolatingplate 332, for isolating theliquid storage chamber 23 from theair intake passage 22. Theassembly seat 357 is provided with a connectingpost 36 protruding from a lower end surface of theassembly seat 357. The connectingpost 36 protrudes downwardly along an axial direction of theassembly seat 357. At least a part of the connectingpost 36 extends out of thebottom cover 245, the part of the connectingpost 36 extending out of thebottom cover 245 is provided with a plurality of external threads which is configured to engage the battery assembly. - Referring to
FIG. 7 andFIG. 11 , when the connectingpost 36 engages the battery assembly via threads, in order to avoid a following rotation of the atomizinghead 35 which influences the assembly procedure, the peripheral of the atomizinghead 35 is provided with afirst positioning member 331, accordingly, the firstinternal sleeve 247 is provided with asecond positioning member 28 engaging thefirst positioning member 331, for limiting a circumferential direction rotation of the atomizinghead 35. Specifically, thefirst positioning member 331 is a positioning cutout on the second isolatingplate 332, thesecond positioning member 28 is a positioning protrusion on the firstinternal sleeve 247, the positioning protrusion latches in the positioning cutout, for limiting a relative rotation between the atomizinghead 35 and the firstinternal sleeve 247. - In the
atomizing head 35 in the illustrated embodiment, user can replace theheater 353 and/or theliquid guiding member 352 by a self-reliance, and a dripping function can also be achieved, i.e. the liquid is not dripped into theliquid storage chamber 23 and the additionalliquid storage chamber 211, on the contrary, the liquid is directly dripped on theliquid guiding member 352. When user want to achieve a liquid dripping function or replace theheater 353 of the atomizingassembly 30 or replace theliquid guiding member 352 of the atomizingassembly 30, merely thebottom cover 245 is rotated to open, thus the atomizinghead 35 together with thebottom cover 245 can be taken down, therefore, a liquid dripping operation or an replacement operation can be performed, it is easy and convenient. - Not only that, the difference between the second embodiment and the first embodiment, in the second embodiment, the
housing assembly 10 further includes a connectingmember 13 and an adjustingmember 14, theair intake hole 11 is positioned on the connectingmember 13, the adjustingmember 14 is rotatably positioned on the connectingmember 13 to adjust an air intake volume of theair intake hole 11. By a control of a relative position between the adjustingmember 14 and theair intake hole 11, an effective air intake volume of theair intake hole 11 can be changed. - As shown in
FIG. 4 , the upper end of the secondexternal sleeve 27 and the upper end of the secondinternal sleeve 26 extend into the lower end of the connectingmember 13. Theupper cover 17 covers the upper end of the connectingmember 13. The connectingmember 13 defines anair intake hole 11, for air intake. Therefore, air enters the atomizer by theair intake hole 11, and passes through the additionalair intake passage 221, and flows into theair intake passage 22, and then the air enters into theatomizing chamber 244 via theair passing hole 34, the air is mixed with the smog, and flows out through the lumen of theventilation pipe 25 and theupper cover 17. - In the illustrated embodiment as shown in
FIG. 14 , the connectingmember 13 includes abottom plate 131, anair outlet conduit 132, and aspacer bush 133, theair outlet conduit 132 and thespacer bush 133 are axially positioned on thebottom plate 131, and aspacer bush 133. Thespacer bush 133 is positioned outside theair outlet conduit 132. Theair outlet conduit 132 is sleeved on theventilation pipe 25. Theair intake hole 11 is positioned on a region of thebottom plate 131 outside thespacer bush 133. Thebottom plate 131 defines aliquid injection hole 134 on a region between thespacer bush 133 and theair outlet conduit 132, theliquid injection hole 134 fluidly communicates with the additionalliquid storage chamber 211. Therefore, thespacer bush 133 completely isolates theair intake hole 11 from theliquid injection hole 134, guaranteeing an independence of the liquid intake and the air intake. Theair outlet conduit 132 can vent the atomized smog effectively, guaranteeing a swallow flavor of the electronic cigarette. In addition, when user wants to inject the liquid, merely theupper cover 17 is taken down, theliquid injecting hole 134 can be injected. - Referring to
FIG. 0.4 ,FIG. 6 , andFIG. 15 , the adjustingmember 14 is a regulating ring, the regulating ring is sleeved on the connectingmember 13 and is rotatably connected to the connectingmember 13. The regulating ring has anair passing cutout 141, when at least a part of theair intake hole 11 fluidly communicates with theair passing cutout 141, air enters into thehousing assembly 10, when theair intake hole 11 is staggered from theair passing cutout 141, thehousing assembly 10 stops the air intake. It should be noted that, in order to guarantee a movement reliability of the regulating ring, the regulating ring engages the connectingmember 13 by a clearance fit, the regulating ring is rotatable about a central axis of the connectingmember 13, thereby, an air intake volume of theair intake hole 11 can be adjusted by changing a relative position between theair passing cutout 141 and theair intake hole 11. - As shown in
FIG. 4 ,FIG. 6 andFIG. 15 , the regulating ring defines anannular groove 142 on an external surface of the regulating ring, theannular groove 142 extends along a circumferential direction of the regulating ring. Theair passing cutout 141 is defined on an inner surface of the regulating ring, and cuts through the annular sidewall of the regulating ring to fluidly communicate with theannular groove 142. - In the specific embodiment as shown in
FIG. 14 andFIG. 15 , the regulating ring has a first limitingmember 143, the connectingmember 13 has a second limitingmember 135 engaging the first limitingmember 143, when the first limitingmember 143 contacts a side of the second limitingmember 135, theair passing cutout 141 is completely fluidly communicated with theair intake hole 11, when the first limitingmember 143 contacts an opposite side of the second limitingmember 135, theair passing cutout 141 is staggered from theair intake hole 11. By a configuration of the first limitingmember 143 and the second limitingmember 135, a rotatably relative position between the adjustingmember 14 and the connectingmember 13 can be effectively controlled, a reliable regulating of an air intake volume of theair intake hole 11 can be accomplished. - Specifically, the first limiting
member 143 is a limiting protrusion on the regulating ring, the second limitingmember 135 is a limiting slidable groove on the connectingmember 13, the limiting protrusion is slidable in the limiting slidable groove. When the regulating ring is rotated to drive the limiting protrusion to contact a side of the limiting slidable groove, theair passing cutout 141 is aligned to theair intake hole 11, at the time, theair intake hole 11 is completely opened. When the regulating ring is rotated to drive the limiting protrusion to contact an opposite side of the limiting slidable groove, theair passing cutout 141 is staggered from theair intake hole 11, at the time, theair intake hole 11 is completely closed. The positions of the limiting protrusion and the limiting slidable groove can be exchanged, i.e. the first limitingmember 143 is a limiting slidable groove, the second limitingmember 135 is a limiting protrusion, a same limiting effect can be achieved. - Taking an air-tightness into consideration, the
housing assembly 10 further includes a sealingring 15, the sealingring 15 is sleeved on the external side of thespacer bush 133 and is positioned above the regulating ring, allowing the air passed through theair passing cutout 141 to flow to theair intake hole 11, referring toFIG. 4 . - As shown in
FIG. 4 andFIG. 6 , thehousing assembly 10 further includes a sealingplate 16 positioned in theupper cover 17. Prior to user injecting the liquid, theupper cover 17 is rotated to open first, the liquid flows into the additionalliquid storage chamber 211 via theliquid injection hole 134, and the liquid flows downwardly to theliquid storage chamber 23 under the force of gravity. When the liquid injection is performed, theupper cover 17 together with the sealingplate 16 cover the connectingmember 13, for sealing theliquid injection hole 134. - As shown in
FIG. 4 andFIG. 6 , a connecting portion between the firstexternal sleeve 241 and the secondexternal sleeve 27, a connecting portion between the firstinternal sleeve 247 and the secondinternal sleeve 26, a connecting portion between the firstexternal sleeve 241 and thebottom cover 245, a connecting portion between the firstinternal sleeve 247 and the second isolatingplate 332, a connection portion between the atomizingsleeve 31 and the first isolatingplate 333, a connecting portion between the connecting post and thebottom cover 245, a connecting portion between the secondexternal sleeve 27 and the connectingmember 13, and a connecting portion between the secondinternal sleeve 26 and the connectingmember 13 are provided with sealing structures, respectively. - Alternatively, the sealing
ring 15, the sealingplate 16, and the sealing structures are made of silica gel or rubber. - The difference between the third embodiment and the second embodiment is that, the specific structures of the adjusting
member 14 are different. - In the third embodiment, the adjusting
member 14 is a blocking sheet, when the blocking sheet shields theair intake hole 11, a part of theair intake hole 11 does not allows the air to flow into or theair intake hole 11 does not allows air to flow into. When the blocking sheet keeps away from theair intake hole 11, the air intake volume of theair intake hole 11 reaches an utmost volume. - The embodiments described above are merely preferred embodiments, but not intended to limit the application. Any modifications, alternatives or improvements made within the principle and spirit of the present application should be interpreted as falling within the protection scope of the present application.
