Abstract
Description
- This application claims priority to and the benefit of U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62/531,406, filed 12 Jul. 2017, the disclosure of which is now expressly incorporated herein by reference.
- The present disclosure relates generally to packages, and more specifically to tape dispenser packages.
- Rolls of tape may be packaged for retail display. Sometimes the rolls of tape are removed from the original packaging and placed in another container for dispensing the tape.
- The present disclosure may comprise one or more of the following features and combinations thereof.
- According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a tape dispenser package includes an integrally formed carton, a tube, and a plurality of rolls of tape. The integrally formed carton includes a storage box, a lid, and tube mounts. The storage box is formed to define an internal-storage cavity. The lid is coupled with the storage box along a living hinge and is movable selectively about the living hinge to allow and block access to the internal-storage cavity. The tube mounts are coupled to the storage box about living hinges. The tube is located in the internal-storage cavity of the storage box. The tube has a first end and a second end spaced apart from the first end. The plurality of rolls of tape is mounted on the tube.
- The tube mounts may include a first support and a second support. The first end of the tube may extend into the first support and may be supported by the first support for rotation relative to the first support. The second end of the tube may extend into the second support and may be supported by the second support for rotation relative to the second support.
- In some embodiments, the second support includes an outer-support wall, an inner-support wall, and a bridge that extends between and interconnects the outer-support wall and the inner support wall. The outer-support wall is formed to include an aperture. The inner-support wall is formed to include an aperture. The second end of the tube is located in the apertures of the outer-support wall and the inner-support wall.
- In some embodiments, the outer-support wall is generally parallel with the inner-support wall. In some embodiments, the bridge is generally perpendicular with the outer-support wall. In some embodiments, the apertures formed in the outer-support wall and the inner-support wall are circular.
- In some embodiments, the storage box includes a front wall, a rear wall opposite the front wall, a bottom wall that interconnects the front wall and the rear wall, a first end cap coupled to the front wall and the rear wall, and a second end cap coupled to the front wall and the rear wall. The front wall, the rear wall, the bottom wall, the first end cap, and the second end cap cooperate to define the internal-storage cavity.
- In some embodiments, the storage box includes a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and a hook receiver. The front wall is coupled with the bottom wall about a living hinge. The rear wall is spaced apart from the front wall and coupled with the bottom wall along a living hinge. The hook receiver is coupled with the bottom wall along a living hinge. The bottom wall is formed to include an aperture having a first shape and the hook receiver is formed to include an aperture that has the first shape.
- In some embodiments, the first support includes an outer-support wall, an inner-support wall, and a bridge. The outer-support wall is coupled with the hook receiver along a living hinge. The bridge is coupled with the outer-support wall along a living hinge. The inner-support wall is coupled with the bridge along a living hinge. The outer-support wall of the first support is formed to include an aperture. The inner-support wall of the first support is formed to include an aperture. The first end of the tube is located in the apertures of the outer-support wall and the inner-support wall of the first support.
- In some embodiments, the second support includes an outer-support wall, an inner support wall, and a bridge that extends between and interconnects the outer-support wall and the inner support wall of the second support. The outer-support wall of the second support is coupled with the bottom wall along a living hinge. The bridge is coupled with the outer-support wall of the second support along a living hinge. The inner-support wall of the second support is coupled with the bridge of the second support along a living hinge.
- In some embodiments, the lid is coupled with the rear wall along the living hinge. The front wall is formed to include a serrated cutting edge.
- In some embodiments, the storage box includes a first end cap. The first end cap has a front-end wall formed to include anchor tabs and a rear-end wall formed to include tab-receiver slits. The front-end wall is coupled with the front wall along a living hinge. The rear-end wall is coupled with the rear wall along a living hinge. The anchor tabs extend into the tab-receiver slits.
- According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a tape dispenser package includes a carton that includes a storage box, a lid, and tube mounts. The storage box is formed to define an internal-storage cavity. The lid is coupled with the storage box along a living hinge and is movable selectively about the living hinge to allow and block access to the internal-storage cavity. The tube mounts are located in the storage box. The tube mounts include a first support formed to include at least one aperture therein and a second support formed to include at least one aperture therein. In some embodiments, the storage box is transparent and made of plastics materials.
- In some embodiments, the tape dispenser package further includes a tube located in the internal-storage cavity of the storage box. The tube includes a first end located in the at least one aperture formed in the first support and a second end located in the at least one aperture formed in the second support. In some embodiments, the tape dispenser package further includes a roll of tape arranged round the tube.
- In some embodiments, the second support includes an outer-support wall, an inner-support wall, and a bridge. The bridge extends between and interconnects the outer-support wall and the inner-support wall. The outer-support wall is generally parallel with the inner-support wall. The bridge is generally perpendicular with the outer-support wall.
- In some embodiments, the storage box includes a bottom wall, a front wall coupled with the bottom wall about a living hinge, and a rear wall spaced apart from the front wall and coupled with the bottom wall along a living hinge. The first support is coupled with the bottom wall along a living hinge. The second support is coupled with the bottom wall along a living hinge.
- In some embodiments, the storage box includes a hook receiver coupled with the bottom wall along a living hinge. The bottom wall is formed to include an aperture having a first shape. The hook receiver is formed to include an aperture that has the first shape.
- In some embodiments, the first support includes an outer-support wall, a bridge, and an inner support wall. The outer-support wall is coupled with the hook receiver along a living hinge. The bridge is coupled with the outer-support wall along a living hinge. The inner-support wall is coupled with the bridge along a living hinge. The outer-support wall of the first support is formed to include an aperture included in the at least one aperture formed in the first support. The inner-support wall of the first support is formed to include an aperture included in the at least one aperture formed in the first support.
- In some embodiments, the lid is coupled with the rear wall along the living hinge. The front wall is formed to include a serrated cutting edge.
- In some embodiments, the storage box includes a first end cap having a front-end wall formed to include anchor tabs and a rear-end wall formed to include tab-receiver slits. The front-end wall is coupled with the front wall along a living hinge. The rear-end wall is coupled with the rear wall along a living hinge. The anchor tabs extend into the tab-receiver slits.

FIG. 10 is a diagrammatic view of the outside of the carton blank ofFIG. 9 suggesting that some of the walls of the carton blank have color printing in the illustrative embodiment. - For the purposes of promoting an understanding of the principles of the disclosure, reference will now be made to a number of illustrative embodiments illustrated in the drawings and specific language will be used to describe the same.
- A
tape dispenser package 10 in accordance with the present disclosure is shown inFIG. 1 . Thetape dispenser package 10 includes rolls oftape 14 for retail presentation as suggested inFIG. 1 . Thetape dispenser package 10 additionally allows a consumer or user to store, dispense, and cut the rolls oftape 14 without additional storage containers or tools as suggested inFIG. 2 . As a result, asingle package 10 may be used to present, store, dispense, and cut the rolls oftape 14. - The illustrative
tape dispenser package 10 includes atube 12, the plurality of rolls oftape 14, and acarton 16 as shown inFIGS. 1-3 . The rolls oftape 14 are mounted on thetube 12 for rotation about thetube 12. Thetube 12 and the rolls oftape 14 are located in thecarton 16 for displaying, storing, dispensing, and cutting of the rolls oftape 14. Thecarton 16 may be transparent on most faces or theentire carton 16 may be transparent to display thetape 14. Illustratively, thecarton 16 has a few areas with an ink layer or a sheet of printed material while the remainder of thecarton 16 is transparent. Illustratively, thecarton 16 comprises plastics materials. - The
tube 12 extends along alongitudinal axis 18 between afirst end 20 and asecond end 22 as shown inFIG. 3 . The first and second ends 20, 22 of thetube 12 are configured to be supported by thecarton 16. In the illustrative embodiment, thecarton 16 supports thetube 12 and the rolls oftape 14 in spaced apart relation relative to afront wall 32,rear wall 34, andbottom wall 36 included in thecarton 16. In the illustrative embodiment, thetube 12 is hollow and formed from paper material. In some embodiments, thetube 12 is free to rotate relative to thecarton 16. In some embodiments, thetube 12 is blocked from rotating relative to thecarton 16. - Each of the plurality of rolls of
tape 14 is formed to include a hole and thetube 12 extends through the hole to mount the roll oftape 14 on thetube 12 as suggested inFIGS. 2 and 3 . In the illustrative embodiment, the rolls oftape 14 are free to rotate relative to thetube 12. In some embodiments, the rolls oftape 14 are coupled with thetube 12 for rotation therewith. The plurality of rolls oftape 14 includes at least one roll oftape 14. In the illustrative embodiment, the plurality of rolls oftape 14 includes seven rolls oftape 14. In the illustrative embodiment, the rolls oftape 14 include washi tape. - The
carton 16 includes astorage box 24, alid 26, and tube mounts 28 as shown inFIGS. 2 and 3 . Thestorage box 24 defines an internal-storage cavity 30 in which the rolls oftape 14 and thetube 12 are located. Thelid 26 is coupled with thestorage box 24 and configured to open and close to allow and block access to the internal-storage cavity 30 of thestorage box 24. The tube mounts 28 support thetube 12 and the rolls oftape 14 in spaced apart relation to thestorage box 24 to free the rolls oftape 14 for rotation in the internal-storage cavity 30. In the illustrative embodiment, the internal-storage cavity 30 has a cuboid shape. - The
storage box 24 includes afront wall 32, arear wall 34 opposite thefront wall 32, abottom wall 36 interconnecting thefront wall 32 and therear wall 34, afirst end cap 38, and asecond end cap 40 as shown inFIGS. 1-3 . Thefront wall 32,rear wall 34,bottom wall 36,first end cap 38, andsecond end cap 40 cooperate to define the internal-storage cavity 30. In the illustrative embodiment, thestorage box 24 has a cuboid shape. In the illustrative embodiment, thestorage box 24 further includes ahook receiver 44 that extends away from thebottom wall 36 for pegability. Thehook receiver 44 is configured to receive a hook or rod to support thetape dispenser package 10 above ground. A layer of ink is printed on thebottom wall 36. In some embodiments, thebottom wall 36 is transparent and a sheet of printed material may cover thebottom wall 36. - The
front wall 32,rear wall 34, andbottom wall 36 define a channel. Thefront wall 32 is generally parallel with therear wall 34. Thefront wall 32 and therear wall 34 are generally perpendicular to thebottom wall 36. Thefirst end cap 38 extends between thefront wall 32 and therear wall 34 and is generally perpendicular to thefront wall 32 and therear wall 34. Thesecond end cap 40 is spaced apart from thefirst end cap 38 and extends between thefront wall 32 and therear wall 34 and is generally perpendicular to thefront wall 32 and therear wall 34. - The illustrative
front wall 32 is formed to include aserrated cutting edge 42 configured to cut strips of tape from the rolls oftape 14 as suggested inFIG. 2 . Theserrated cutting edge 42 is located toward the opening of the internal-storage cavity 30. Theserrated edge 42 extends between thefirst end cap 38 and thesecond end cap 40. Thefront wall 32 further includes a lip-receiver cut 46 that receives a portion of thelid 26 when thelid 26 is closed. In the illustrative embodiment, lip-receiver cut 46 is semi-circular shaped and opens toward the opening of the internal-storage cavity 30. - The
first end cap 38 is formed by a first front-end wall 48 and a first rear-end wall 50 as shown inFIGS. 3 and 4 . The first front-end wall 48 couples with the first rear-end wall 50 to block access into the internal-storage cavity 30. Thesecond end cap 40 is formed by a second front-end wall 52 and a second rear-end wall 54 as shown inFIGS. 3 and 4 . The second front-end wall 52 couples with the second rear-end wall 54 to block access into the internal-storage cavity 30. The first front-end wall 48, second front-end wall 52, first rear-end wall 50, and second front-end wall 52 each have curved ends. Illustratively, the curved ends are semi-circular shaped. - The first front-
end wall 48 includes a pair ofanchor tabs 88 formed by cuts in the first front-end wall 48 as shown inFIGS. 3 and 4 . The first rear-end wall 50 is formed to include a pair of tab-receiver slits 90 that are spaced apart from one another. Eachanchor tab 88 is semi-circular shaped and is configured to extend through the corresponding tab-receiver slit 94 formed in the first rear-end wall 50 to couple the first front-end wall 48 to the first rear-end wall 50. In other embodiments, the first front-end wall 48 includes tab-receiver slits and the first rear-end wall 50 includes anchor tabs. - The second front-
end wall 52 includes a pair ofanchor tabs 92 formed by cuts in the second front-end wall 52 as shown inFIGS. 3 and 4 . The second rear-end wall 54 is formed to include a pair of tab-receiver slits 94 that are spaced apart from one another. Eachanchor tab 92 is semi-circular shaped and is configured to extend through a corresponding tab-receiver slit 94 formed in the second rear-end wall 54 to couple the second front-end wall 52 to the second rear-end wall 54. In other embodiments, the second front-end wall 52 includes tab-receiver slits and the second rear-end wall 54 includes anchor tabs. - The
lid 26 includes atop wall 56, alip 58, afirst guide wall 60, and asecond guide wall 62 as shown inFIGS. 2 and 3 . Thetop wall 56 is coupled with therear wall 34 and configured to pivot relative to therear wall 34 to open and close to allow and block access to the internal-storage cavity 30. Thelip 58 is coupled with thetop wall 56 and overlaps a portion of thefront wall 32 when thelid 26 is closed. Thelip 58 may be received in the lip-receiver cut 46 formed in thefront wall 32. Thefirst guide wall 60 is coupled with thetop wall 56. The second guide wall is coupled with thetop wall 56 opposite thefirst guide wall 60. Thewalls FIG. 5 . Thewalls - The first and
second guide walls top wall 56 and are configured to be received in the internal-storage cavity 30 when thelid 26 is being closed to help align and guide thelid 26 relative to thestorage box 24. In the illustrative embodiment, the first andsecond guide walls first end cap 38 and thetube 12 and thesecond end cap 40 and thetube 12 respectively when thelid 26 is closed. - The tube mounts 28 include a
first support 64 and asecond support 66 spaced apart from thefirst support 64 as shown inFIGS. 2 and 3 . The first andsecond supports storage cavity 30. Thefirst support 64 receives thefirst end 20 of thetube 12 and thesecond support 66 receives thesecond end 22 of thetube 12 to space thetube 12 apart from thestorage box 24. - The
first support 64 includes an outer-support wall 68, an inner-support wall 70, and abridge 72 extending between and interconnecting the outer-support wall 68 and the inner-support wall 70 as shown inFIGS. 3-5 . The outer-support wall 68 extends away from thebottom wall 36 toward thetop wall 56. In the illustrative embodiment, the outer-support wall 68 is generally parallel with thefirst end cap 38. The inner-support wall 70 extends away from thetop wall 56 toward thebottom wall 36. In the illustrative embodiment, the inner-support wall 70 is generally parallel with thefirst end cap 38. Thebridge 72 extends from a top end of the outer-support wall 68 toward a top end of the inner-support wall 70 to interconnect the outer-support wall 68 and the inner-support wall 70. - The outer-
support wall 68 includes anaperture 74 and the inner-support wall 70 includes anaperture 76 as shown inFIGS. 3-5 . Theapertures first end 20 of thetube 12. The outer-support wall 68 and the inner-support wall 70 engage at least one of thefront wall 32,rear wall 34, andbottom wall 36 during dispensing of the rolls oftape 14 to support thetube 12 and the rolls oftape 14. Theapertures tube 12 and the rolls oftape 14 are spaced apart from thestorage box 24 during dispensing of the rolls oftape 14. - The
second support 66 includes an outer-support wall 78, an inner-support wall 80, and abridge 82 extending between and interconnecting the outer-support wall 78 and the inner-support wall 80 as shown inFIGS. 3-5 . The outer-support wall 78 extends away from thebottom wall 36 toward thetop wall 56. In the illustrative embodiment, the outer-support wall 78 is generally parallel with thesecond end cap 40. The inner-support wall 80 extends away from thetop wall 56 toward thebottom wall 36. In the illustrative embodiment, the inner-support wall 80 is generally parallel with thesecond end cap 40. Thebridge 82 extends from a top end of the outer-support wall 78 toward a top end of the inner-support wall 80 to interconnect the outer-support wall 78 and the inner-support wall 80. - The outer-
support wall 78 includes anaperture 84 and the inner-support wall 80 includes anaperture 86 as shown inFIGS. 3-5 . Theapertures second end 22 of thetube 12. The outer-support wall 78 and the inner-support wall 80 engage at least one of thefront wall 32,rear wall 34, andbottom wall 36 during dispensing of the rolls oftape 14 to support thetube 12 and the rolls oftape 14. Theapertures tube 12 and the rolls oftape 14 are spaced apart from thestorage box 24 during dispensing of the rolls oftape 14. - In the illustrative embodiment, the
carton 16 is formed from a carton blank 96 made of a single sheet of material as shown inFIGS. 4 and 5 . In the illustrative embodiment, the carton blank 96 is made of a single sheet of polymeric material. In other embodiments, the carton blank 96 is made of a single sheet of paper material. - The carton blank 96 includes a
front band 98, abottom band 100, arear band 102, atop band 104, and alip band 106 as shown inFIGS. 4 and 5 . Thefront band 98 is pivotably coupled with thebottom band 100 along a living hinge. Therear band 102 is pivotably coupled with thebottom band 100 along a living hinge and pivotably coupled with thetop band 104 along a living hinge. Thelip band 106 is pivotably coupled with thetop band 104 about a living hinge. - The
front band 98 includes thefront wall 32, the first front-end wall 48 pivotably coupled with thefront wall 32 along a living hinge, and the second front-end wall 52 pivotably coupled with thefront wall 32 along a living hinge as shown inFIGS. 4 and 5 . Thefront wall 32 is pivotably coupled with thebottom wall 36 along a living hinge to couple thefront band 98 with thebottom band 100. - The
bottom band 100 includes thebottom wall 36, ahook wall 45, the outer-support wall 68 of thefirst support 64, the inner-support wall 70 of thefirst support 64, thebridge 72 of thefirst support 64, the outer-support wall 78 of thesecond support 66, the inner-support wall 80 of thesecond support 66, and thebridge 82 of thesecond support 66 as shown inFIGS. 4 and 5 . Thehook wall 45 is pivotably coupled with thebottom wall 36 along a living hinge. The outer-support wall 68 of thefirst support 64 is pivotably coupled with thehook wall 45 along a living hinge. Thebridge 72 of thefirst support 64 is pivotably coupled with the outer-support wall 68 along a living hinge and pivotably coupled with the inner-support wall 70 along a living hinge. The outer-support wall 78 of thesecond support 66 is pivotably coupled with thebottom wall 36 along a living hinge. Thebridge 82 of thesecond support 66 is pivotably coupled with the outer-support wall 78 along a living hinge and pivotably coupled with the inner-support wall 80 along a living hinge. - The
rear band 102 includes therear wall 34, the first rear-end wall 50 pivotably coupled with therear wall 34 along a living hinge, and the second rear-end wall 54 pivotably coupled with therear wall 34 along a living hinge as shown inFIGS. 4 and 5 . Therear wall 34 is pivotably coupled with thebottom wall 36 along a living hinge to couple therear band 102 with thebottom band 100. - The
top band 104 includes thetop wall 56, thefirst guide wall 60 pivotably coupled with thetop wall 56 along a living hinge, and thesecond guide wall 62 pivotably coupled with thetop wall 56 along a living hinge as shown inFIGS. 4 and 5 . Thetop wall 56 is pivotably coupled with therear wall 34 along a living hinge to couple thetop band 104 with therear band 102. Thetop wall 56 is pivotably coupled with thelip 58 along a living hinge to couple thetop band 104 with thelip band 106. - The
lip band 106 includes thelip 58 as shown inFIGS. 4 and 5 . Thelip 58 is pivotably coupled with thetop wall 56 along the living hinge to couple thelip band 106 with thetop band 104. - In the illustrative embodiment, the carton blank 96 is transparent and some portions have an ink layer as suggested in
FIGS. 4 and 5 . In some embodiments, the ink layer includes a sheet of material with ink printed on it. In the illustrative embodiment, an inside of thebottom wall 36 has an ink layer. In the illustrative embodiment, an outside of thebottom wall 36,hook wall 45, first front-end wall 48, second front-end wall 52, first rear-end wall 50, and second rear-end wall 54 include an ink layer. Thetop wall 56 includes an ink layer along a portion of thetop wall 56. - As shown in
FIGS. 6-8 , the walls of the carton blank 96 are foldable along the living hinges to form thecarton 16. Thefront wall 32,rear wall 34, andbottom wall 36 fold relative to each other along the living hinges to form the channel. Thelip 58,first guide wall 60, andsecond guide wall 62 fold relative to thetop wall 56 to form thelid 26. Thehook wall 45 folds over thebottom wall 36 along the living hinge to form thehook receiver 44. - The outer-
support wall 78 of thesecond support 66 folds relative to thebottom wall 36 and thebridge 82 along the living hinges and the inner-support wall 80 folds relative to thebridge 82 to form thesecond support 66 as suggested inFIGS. 6 and 7 . The outer-support wall 68, inner-support wall 70, andbridge 72 cooperate similarly to form thefirst support 64. - The second rear-
end wall 54 folds relative to therear wall 34 and the second front-end wall 52 folds relative to thefront wall 32 as suggested inFIGS. 7 and 8 . Theanchor tabs 92 extend through the tab-receiver slits 94 to couple the second rear-end wall 54 with the second front-end wall 52 to form thesecond end cap 40. The first rear-end wall 50 and the first front-end wall 48 cooperate similarly to form thefirst end cap 38. - Another embodiment of a
tape dispenser package 210 is shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . Thetape dispenser package 210 is substantially similar to thetape dispenser package 10 shown inFIGS. 1-8 and described herein. - Accordingly, similar reference numbers indicate features that are common between the
tape dispenser package 10 and thetape dispenser package 210. Features that are different between thetape dispenser package 210 and thetape dispenser package 10 are indicated by the 200 series. The description of thetape dispenser package 10 is incorporated by reference to apply to thetape dispenser package 210, except in instances when it conflicts with the specific description and the drawings of thetape dispenser package 210. - The
tape dispenser package 210 includes thetube 12, the plurality of rolls oftape 14, and acarton 216. The rolls oftape 14 are mounted on thetube 12 for rotation about thetube 12. Thetube 12 and the rolls oftape 14 are located in thecarton 216 for displaying, storing, dispensing, and cutting of the rolls oftape 14. - The
tube 12 extends along thelongitudinal axis 18 between thefirst end 20 and thesecond end 22. The first and second ends 20, 22 of thetube 12 are configured to be supported by thecarton 216. Thecarton 216 supports thetube 12 and the rolls oftape 14 in spaced apart relation relative to afront wall 232,rear wall 34, andbottom wall 36 included in thecarton 216. - Each of the plurality of rolls of
tape 14 is formed to include the hole and thetube 12 extends through the hole to mount the roll oftape 14 on thetube 12. In some embodiment, the rolls oftape 14 are free to rotate relative to thetube 12. In some embodiments, the rolls oftape 14 are coupled with thetube 12 for rotation therewith. - The
carton 216 includes astorage box 224, alid 26, and tube mounts 228 as shown inFIGS. 2 and 3 . Thestorage box 224 defines an internal-storage cavity in which the rolls oftape 14 and thetube 12 are located. Thelid 26 is coupled with thestorage box 224 and configured to open and close to allow and block access to the internal-storage cavity of thestorage box 224. The tube mounts 228 support thetube 12 and the rolls oftape 14 in spaced apart relation to thestorage box 224 to free the rolls oftape 14 for rotation in the internal-storage cavity. In the illustrative embodiment, thestorage box 224 and the internal-storage cavity has a cuboid shape. Thelid 26 may be secured to thestorage box 224 via adhesive as shown inFIG. 10 . - The
storage box 24 includes afront wall 232, therear wall 34 opposite thefront wall 232, thebottom wall 36 interconnecting thefront wall 232 and therear wall 34, thefirst end cap 38, and thesecond end cap 40 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . Thefront wall 232,rear wall 34,bottom wall 36,first end cap 38, andsecond end cap 40 cooperate to define the internal-storage cavity. Thestorage box 224 further includes thehook receiver 44 that extends away from thebottom wall 36 for pegability. Thehook receiver 44 is formed to include apertures sized to receive display hooks for supporting thepackage 10 in a retail setting for example. - The
front wall 232 is formed to include aserrated cutting edge 242 configured to cut strips of tape from the rolls oftape 14. Theserrated cutting edge 242 is located toward the opening of the internal-storage cavity. Theserrated edge 242 extends between thefirst end cap 38 and thesecond end cap 40. Theserrated edge 242 is located below an upper end of thefirst end cap 38 and thesecond end cap 40 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . As such, theserrated edge 242 is a few millimeters below the top edge of the front panel. - The
first end cap 38 is formed by the first front-end wall 48 and the first rear-end wall 50 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . Thesecond end cap 40 is formed by the second front-end wall 52 and the second rear-end wall 54. The first front-end wall 48 includes the pair ofanchor tabs 88 formed by cuts in the first front-end wall 48 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . The first rear-end wall 50 is formed to include the pair of tab-receiver slits 90 that are spaced apart from one another. The second front-end wall 52 includes the pair ofanchor tabs 92 formed by cuts in the second front-end wall 52. The second rear-end wall 54 is formed to include the pair of tab-receiver slits 94 that are spaced apart from one another. - The
lid 26 includes thetop wall 56, thelip 58, thefirst guide wall 60, and thesecond guide wall 62 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . Thelip 58 is configured to be tucked into the internal-storage cavity when thestorage box 224 is closed. - The tube mounts 28 include a
first support 264 and asecond support 266 spaced apart from thefirst support 264 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . The first andsecond supports first support 264 receives thefirst end 20 of thetube 12 and thesecond support 266 receives thesecond end 22 of thetube 12 to space thetube 12 apart from thestorage box 224. - The
first support 264 includes the inner-support wall 70 and thebridge 72 extending between and interconnecting the inner-support wall 70 and thehook wall 45 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . When the inner-support wall 70 is generally parallel with thefirst end cap 38 when formed into thestorage box 224. The inner-support wall 70 includes anaperture 76. Theaperture 76 is sized to receive thefirst end 20 of thetube 12. - The
second support 66 includes the inner-support wall 80 and thebridge 82 extending between and interconnecting the inner-support wall 80 and thebottom wall 36. In the illustrative embodiment, the inner-support wall 80 is generally parallel with thesecond end cap 40. The inner-support wall 80 includes theaperture 86. Theaperture 86 is sized to receive thesecond end 22 of thetube 12. - In the illustrative embodiment, the
carton 216 is formed from a carton blank 296 made of a single sheet of material as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . In the illustrative embodiment, thecarton blank 296 is made of a single sheet of polymeric material. In other embodiments, thecarton blank 296 is made of a single sheet of paper material. - The
carton blank 296 includes afront band 298, abottom band 200, therear band 102, thetop band 104, and thelip band 106 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . Thefront band 298 is pivotably coupled with thebottom band 200 along a living hinge. Therear band 102 is pivotably coupled with thebottom band 200 along a living hinge and pivotably coupled with thetop band 104 along a living hinge. Thelip band 106 is pivotably coupled with thetop band 104 about a living hinge. - The
front band 298 includes thefront wall 232, the first front-end wall 48 pivotably coupled with thefront wall 232 along a living hinge, and the second front-end wall 52 pivotably coupled with thefront wall 232 along a living hinge. Thefront wall 232 is pivotably coupled with thebottom wall 36 along a living hinge to couple thefront band 298 with thebottom band 200. - The
bottom band 200 includes thebottom wall 36, ahook wall 45, the inner-support wall 70 of thefirst support 264, thebridge 72 of thefirst support 264, the inner-support wall 80 of thesecond support 266, and thebridge 82 of thesecond support 266 as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . Thehook wall 45 is pivotably coupled with thebottom wall 36 along a living hinge. Thebridge 72 of thefirst support 264 is pivotably coupled with thehook wall 45 along a living hinge and coupled with the inner-support wall 70 along a living hinge. Thebridge 82 of thesecond support 266 is pivotably coupled with thebottom wall 36 along a living hinge pivotably coupled with the inner-support wall 80 along a living hinge. - While the disclosure has been illustrated and described in detail in the foregoing drawings and description, the same is to be considered as exemplary and not restrictive in character, it being understood that only illustrative embodiments thereof have been shown and described and that all changes and modifications that come within the spirit of the disclosure are desired to be protected.
