Abstract
The invention relates to an elastic sealing plug for bathroom facilities, which includes a seat body, a lid body and a filter mesh, wherein the lid body is set on the seat body, the lid body and the seat body is elastic body, the filter mesh is set inside the engagement portion of the seat body, the filter mesh is provided to filter out impurities in water, to thereby effectively prevent pipe obstruction.
Description
- The invention relates to an elastic sealing plug for bathroom facilities and, more particularly, to an elastic sealing plug provided to install on a drain opening of bathroom facilities, such as wash basins, bathtubs, sinks; the elastic sealing plug is used to control water storage and discharge of bathroom facilities, the feature is that the present invention could filter out impurities in water, so that it could effectively prevent pipe obstruction.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , which is a conventional elastic sealing plug structure for bathroom facilities, theelastic sealing plug 1 is installed on a drain opening 21 of bathroom facilities, such as wash basins, bathtubs, sinks; theelastic sealing plug 1 is used to control water storage and discharge of bathroom facilities, theelastic sealing plug 1 includes aseat body 11 and alid body 12; a body-size hole 111 is set in the center of thetop side 110 of theseat body 11, multipleoblique rids 112 are set along the periphery of the body-size hole 111 convexly, aconnection portion 113 is formed by the top of theoblique rids 112, a throughhole 114 is set on theconnection portion 113, a lowerbinding face 116 is set on thetop side 110 around the outer periphery of the body-size hole 111, anengagement portion 115 is set on the bottom side of theseat body 11; an upperbinding face 120 is set on the periphery of the bottom side of thelid body 12, afixed column 121 is set on the bottom side of thelid body 12 from its center extended downwards, abutt end 122 is set on the end of thefixed column 121, thefixed column 121 is inserted into the throughhole 114 of theconnection portion 113 of theseat body 11, thebutt end 122 is located at the outer side of thethrough hole 114 to prevent the lid body from escaping out of theseat body 11; since theseat body 11 and thelid body 12 are elastic body, theengagement portion 115 could be tightly engaged to the drain opening 21 of thebathroom facilities 2; - In water storage state, the upper
binding face 120 of thelid body 12 is bound to the lowerbinding face 116 of theseat body 11 to form an adhesion state, so as to provide thebathroom facilities 2 for water storage. When a user wants to discharge water, he could press the central part of thelid body 12 by a finger, at this time, thelid body 12 would be deformed to flip upwards due to the pressure, so that the upper bindingface 120 does not bind to the lower bindingface 116 and a gap is formed for water drainage. If the user wants to store water, he may press the periphery of thelid body 12, so that the upperbinding face 120 may bind to the lower bindingface 116 again to form the adhesion state for water storage. - It is inevitable that some impurities may be left in the water stored in the bathroom facilities after being used. Impurities include hairs, incrustation, debris and etc., pipe obstruction may easily be caused once impurities are drained, especially impurities with slightly larger volume. It is troublesome to clean up when pipe is blocked, and this is a big problem in water use. Although structure of the conventional
elastic sealing plug 1 could provide convenience of installation and operation, the problem that impurities in water may cause pipe obstruction cannot be solved. - In view of this, the inventor continuously proposes various solutions and finally completes the elastic sealing plug for bathroom facilities of the present invention, namely, the object of the present invention is to provide an elastic sealing plug for bathroom facilities to filter out impurities in water, to thereby effectively prevent pipe obstruction.
- To achieve the object, the elastic sealing plug for bathroom facilities of the present invention, including:
- a seat body, a body-size hole is set in the center of its top side, multiple oblique rids are set along the periphery of the body-size hole convexly, a connection portion is formed by the top of the oblique rids, a through hole is set on the connection portion, a lower binding face is set on the top side around the outer periphery of the body-size hole, an engagement portion is set on the bottom side of the seat body;
- a lid body, an upper binding face is set on the periphery of its bottom side, a fixed column is set on the bottom side of the lid body from its center extended downwards, a butt end is set on the end of the fixed column, the fixed column is inserted into the through hole of the connection portion of the seat body, the butt end is located at the outer side of the through hole to prevent the lid body from escaping out of the seat body;
- a filter mesh, which is set inside the engagement portion of the seat body, multiple mesh openings are set densely on the filter mesh.
- The above seat body, a positioning slot is set on the inner periphery of its engagement portion.
- The above filter mesh, a positioning flange is set on its periphery.
- The above seat body is an elastic body.
- The above lid body is an elastic body.

FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 , which is theelastic sealing plug 3 of the present invention, including aseat body 31, alid body 32 and afilter mesh 33, wherein: - a
seat body 31, a body-size hole 311 is set in the center of itstop side 310, multipleoblique rids 312 are set along the periphery of the body-size hole 311 convexly, aconnection portion 313 is formed by the top of theoblique rids 312, a throughhole 314 is set on theconnection portion 313, a lowerbinding face 316 is set on thetop side 310 around the outer periphery of the body-size hole 311, anengagement portion 315 is set on the bottom side of theseat body 31, apositioning slot 317 is set on the inner periphery of theengagement portion 315; - the
lid body 32, an upperbinding face 320 is set on the periphery of its bottom side, afixed column 321 is set on the bottom side of thelid body 32 from its center extended downwards, abutt end 322 is set on the end of thefixed column 321, thefixed column 321 is inserted into the throughhole 314 of theconnection portion 313 of theseat body 31, thebutt end 322 is located at the outer side of the throughhole 314 to prevent thelid body 32 from escaping out of theseat body 31; - the
filter mesh 33, which is set inside theengagement portion 315 of theseat body 31,multiple mesh openings 322 are set densely on thefilter mesh 33, apositioning flange 333 is set on theperiphery 331 of thefilter mesh 33, thepositioning flange 333 is set on thepositioning slot 317. - The
above seat body 31 is an elastic body. - The
above lid body 32 is an elastic body. -
FIG. 5 is the embodiment of water storage state of the present invention, wherein theengagement portion 315 of theelastic sealing plug 3 of the present invention could tightly engage with the drain opening 41 of thebathroom facilities 4. In water storage state, the upper bindingface 320 of thelid body 32 is bound to the lowerbinding face 316 of theseat body 31 to form an adhesion state, so as to provide thebathroom facilities 4 for water storage. -
FIG. 6 is the embodiment of water drainage of the present invention, when a user wants to discharge water stored in the bathroom facilities, he may press the central part of thelid body 32 by a finger, at this time, thelid body 32 would be deformed to flip upwards due to the pressure, so that the upper bindingface 320 does not bind to the lower bindingface 316 and a gap is formed for water drainage. If the user wants to store water, he may press the periphery of thelid body 32, so that the upperbinding face 320 may bind to the lower bindingface 316 again to form the adhesion state for water storage. - As shown in
FIG. 7 , since thefilter mesh 33 is set in the present invention, impurities in water could be filtered out by thefilter mesh 33 during water drainage without flowing into pipes to cause obstruction. When impurities accumulate to a certain extent, since theseat body 31 is an elastic body, thefilter mesh 33 could be disassembled from theengagement portion 315 of theseat body 31 for cleaning out impurities on thefilter mesh 33, and it could be installed into theengagement portion 315 again for use after being cleaned, so it is very convenient in operating and the drawback of conventional ones could be effectively improved.
Claims (4)
1. An elastic sealing plug for bathroom facilities, including:
a seat body having a body-size hole located in a center of a top side of the seat body, multiple oblique ribs located along a periphery of the body-size hole convexly, a connection portion formed by a top of the oblique ribs, a through hole located in the connection portion, a lower binding face located around a top side of an outer periphery of the body-size hole, and an engagement portion located on a bottom side of the seat body, a positioning slot is located on an inner periphery of the engagement portion of the seat body;
a lid body having an upper binding face located on a periphery of a bottom side of the lid body, a fixed column located on the bottom side of the lid body and extending downwardly from a center of the lid body, and a butt end located on an end of the fixed column, the fixed column is inserted into the through hole of the connection portion of the seat body, the butt end is located at an outer side of the through hole to prevent the lid body from escaping out of the seat body;
a filter mesh located inside the engagement portion of the seat body and having multiple mesh openings located through the filter mesh and a positioning flange located on an exterior of a peripheral wall of the filter mesh, the peripheral wall is located between the multiple mesh openings and the positioning flange, the positioning flange of the filter mesh is inserted into the positioning slot of the engagement portion of the seat body.

4. The elastic sealing plug for bathroom facilities as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the seat body is an elastic body.
5. The elastic sealing plug for bathroom facilities as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the lid body is an elastic body.
