Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The present disclosure relates to a toy block, and more particularly, to a toy block capable of coupling to other blocks to create various shapes.
  • BACKGROUND ART
  • As toys for intellectual development of toddlers or children, self-assembly block toy sets including a plurality of blocks of various shapes that may be assembled to make any type of artifact are being widely used. • Advantageous Effects of the Invention
  • According to the present disclosure, various shapes capable of moving may be created.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a diagram of a toy block according to an embodiment of the present disclosure;
  • FIG. 2 is a diagram of a toy block according to an embodiment seen from a lower portion of the toy block;
  • FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a separated state of a toy block according to the present disclosure;
  • FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an entire shape of a toy block according to another embodiment of the present disclosure;
  • FIG. 5 is a diagram showing a separated state of a toy block according to another embodiment of the present disclosure; and
  • FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of coupling the toy block of FIG. 1 and the toy block of FIG. 2 to each other according to the present disclosure.
  • MODE OF THE INVENTION
  • Hereinafter, a toy block according to the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to accompanying drawings.
  • FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an entire shape of a toy block according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, FIG. 2 is a diagram of the toy block according to the embodiment seen from a lower portion, and FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a separated state of the toy block according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the toy block 100 includes a body 110, a first rotator 120, and a second rotator 130. The body 110 may have various shapes having a predetermined volume, and may have a circular shape as shown in FIG. 1. Otherwise, the body 110 may be implemented as a polyhedron, e.g., a triangular prism, a square pillar, etc.
  • The body 110 includes a first coupling portion 112 having a concavo-convex structure of a toothed wheel shape around the first rotator 120, and a second coupling portion 114 of an octagonal shape protruding to a predetermined height. According to an embodiment, the body 110 may not include some or all of the first coupling portion 112 and the second coupling portion 114, and each of the coupling portions may be designed to have different shapes.
  • The first rotator 120 may be rotatable while penetrating through the body 110. A third coupling portion 122 and a fourth coupling portion 124 are on opposite ends of the first rotator 120. For example, the third coupling portion 122 may be connected to a first coupling portion 442 of a caterpillar block 400 shown in FIG. 4. According to an embodiment, some or all of the third coupling portion 122 and the fourth coupling portion 124 may be omitted, and each of the coupling portions may be designed to have different shapes.
  • The second rotator 130 is provided on an outer portion of the first rotator 120, and rotates in a direction opposite to a rotating direction of the first rotator 120. The second rotator 130 includes a fifth coupling portion 132 having a concavo-convex structure of a toothed wheel shape around the first rotator 120, and a sixth coupling portion 134 protruding to a predetermined height. For example, the fifth coupling portion 132 may be connected to a second coupling portion 412 of a caterpillar block 400 shown in FIG. 4. According to an embodiment, some or all of the fifth coupling portion 132 and the sixth coupling portion 134 may be omitted, and each of the coupling portions may be designed to have different shapes.
  • A gear portion 310 switches a rotary force of the first rotator 120 to opposite direction and transfers the switched rotary force to the second rotator 130. To do this, the gear portion 310 may include a plurality of gears. For example, the gear portion 310 may include a first gear 300 on an outer portion of the first rotator, a second gear 320 on an internal portion of the second rotator, and a third gear 310 connecting the first gear 300 and the second gear 320 to each other. When the first rotator 120 rotates, the second rotator 130 rotates in a direction opposite to the first rotator 120.
  • FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an entire shape of a toy block according to another embodiment of the present disclosure, and FIG. 5 is a diagram showing a separated state of the toy block according to the another embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, a toy block 400 is a caterpillar block including a plurality of wheels 420, 422, and 424 and a track 430 surrounding the wheels. The caterpillar block 400 includes a body 410 in which the wheels are located.
  • The caterpillar block 400 includes a first coupling portion 440 transferring a rotating power to the wheels by penetrating through the body 410, and the second coupling portion 412 provided on the body 410. A concavo-convex structure 442 of a toothed wheel shape is provided at an end of the first coupling portion 440. The first coupling portion 440 is connected to the wheel 420, and thus, when the first coupling portion 440 rotates, the wheel 420 rotates, and accordingly, the track 430 rotates.
  • FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of coupling the toy block of FIG. 1 and the toy block of FIG. 2 to each other according to the present disclosure.
  • Referring to FIG. 6, the toy block 100 of FIG. 1 and the caterpillar block 400 of FIG. 2 are connected to each other. For example, the first rotator 120 of the toy block 100 of FIG. 1 is connected to the first coupling portion 440 of the caterpillar block 400 of FIG. 4. Therefore, when the first rotator 120 of the toy block 100 of FIG. 1 rotates, the track 430 of the caterpillar block 400 of FIG. 4 also rotates.
  • Also, the second rotator 130 of the toy block 100 of FIG. 1 is connected to the second coupling portion 412 of the caterpillar block 400 of FIG. 4. As described above, since the second rotator 130 rotates in a direction different from the rotating direction of the first rotator 120, the body 410 of the caterpillar block 400 rotates in a direction opposite to a rotating direction of the track 430.
  • When a moving object such as an automobile is made by coupling the toy blocks of FIGS. 1 and 4 to each other, the track 430 of the caterpillar may not only rotates, but the body 410 also rotates, and thus, the moving object may make its way through obstacles.
  • While the present disclosure has been particularly shown and described with reference to preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the disclosure as defined by the appended claims. The preferred embodiments should be considered in descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation. Therefore, the scope of the present disclosure is defined not by the detailed description of the invention but by the appended claims, and all differences within the scope will be construed as being included in the present disclosure.
