Description

    FIELD OF INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a portable boat with a foldable and a flexible frame structure, wherein the portable boat is enabled with a compact storage feature which further enables storage of the portable boat in a closet.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • A portable boat is usually a smaller boat, typically ranging from about 2 to nearly 6 meters (20 ft). Portable boats are carried by one or two persons, and comfortably fit into a car trunk, when packed.
  • Foldable and inflatable boats have been used for several functions, such as fishing, exploration and yacht tenders. Herein, it is known that foldable, collapsible or inflatable boats experience major difficulties as a result of the types of construction that are presently followed. The most of the foldable or inflatable boats present herein, lack the novelty feature of compact storage, easy handling, safety purposes and fewer complexities. Many of the portable boat structure involve heavy engineering techniques and therefore involve huge cost and time consuming while manufacturing. The construction of such kind of boats requires heavy machinery and further involves large numbers of man power.
  • Moreover, in most of the cases, the portable boat is not provided with a detachable buoyant material, wherein the buoyant material enables the portable boat to float over the water surface. This buoyant material provided to this portable boat remains attached to the portable boat and hence gains chances to be torn up easily, wherein this attached buoyant material also reduces the flexibility of the portable boat.
  • Therefore, there remains a need to overcome the above mentioned problems and our invention resolves this entire problem
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main objective of the present invention is to overcome the limitations of the prior arts by providing a portable boat with a foldable and a flexible frame structure, wherein the portable boat is enabled with a compact storage feature which further provides the storage of the portable boat in a closet.
  • The present invention relates to a portable boat with a foldable and a flexible frame structure, wherein the portable boat is designed in a manner that in the folded state it is easy to be carried out by a single person with the help of the attached straps to the portable boat. Moreover, the foldable and flexible frame structure of the portable boat is covered with a waterproof material, wherein the material covers the portable boat completely from the underside which further enables the portable boat to float above the water level. The material covering provided herein, is detachable and reusable and further enables easy folding and use of the portable boat.
  • In an embodiment, the person willing using the portable boat is enabled to unfold the portable boat, wherein the process of unfolding the portable boat requires only one person and does not require use of any machinery for the same. The portable boat comprises a plurality of attachment members. The plurality of attachment members herein, are coupled by at least one hinge member, wherein a first end of the at least one hinge member is coupled to at least one attachment member and a second end of the at least one hinge member is coupled to at least second attachment member. The at least one hinge member is like a joint provided to couple at least two attachment members together to make a frame like structure of a boat and also provide flexibility and fold ability to the portable boat. Once the portable boat is in the unfolded state the person using the portable boat is enabled to cover the portable boat structure with a watertight material, wherein the watertight material is made up of a reusable material which provides buoyancy to the portable boat, increases the life span of the frame and prevents any water from passing through the material into the boat. This material further enables completely covering the plurality of attachment members together and enables floating of the portable boat above the water level. The portable boat in the unpacked state may also be equipped to receive a motor or other means of power to the railings of the boat. The portable boat may also be covered completely in a similarly portable canopy or tent structure in order to provide concealment and/or shelter to the user, whether in use on the water or on the ground.
