Abstract
A cup in this present invention comprises a cup and a lid on top of the cup. The lid has an anti-leaking ring inside of the lid and an annular groove in arc shape used to place a ball inside of the annular groove. A positioning member above the lid has a buffering edge in arc shape at upper portion of the positioning member to block the ball as to prevent ball from lo dropping out of the annular groove. Therefore the ball can be rolled and spun randomly on the lid in order to have more fun while using.
Description
- This invention relates to a cup, in particular to a cup with lid defined a rolling ball in order to obtain more fun while using.
- Commonly, a cup filled with water or beverage doesn't have any special function or any fun while using. A design or a pattern is usually used to be on the surface of the cup to have different visual experiences. However, a variety of the cup shapes, the designs or the patterns on the surface of the cup can't bring the customer's interesting anymore in those modern days. Besides, the design or the pattern is printed in a few of colors and lines, so the image is very boring and stiff which means it can't effectively attract the customers' eyeballs.
- The objective of a cup in present invention is to provide fun while using by having a lid. The cup in the present invention comprises a cup and a lid on top of the cup, in characterized that a ball is placed on an annular groove in arc shape defined on top of the lid and a buffering edge is located at upper portion of a positioning member above the lid which means the buffering edge can block the ball on annular groove in order to prevent the ball from dropping out of the lid.
- The cup in the present invention, wherein, plural positioning protrusions located at the bottom of the positioning member are plugged into a first hole defined on middle of the lid and engaged at bottom of the lid and a straw is inserted into a second hole set on middle of the positioning member and protruded inside of the cup.
- The advantage of the cup in the present invention is that the ball on the top of the lid can randomly roll so as to have more fun and to draw customers' attention in order to increase odds of purchase.
- This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, and -
FIG. 4 is a schematic view of an exemplary embodiment showing the present invention in condition of use. - An exemplary embodiment of a cup in the present invention, referring to
FIGS. 1-3 , comprises acup 1 and alid 2 having anannular groove 20 in arc shape defined on top of thelid 2; afirst hole 21 in stair-stepped shape set on middle of thelid 2 and ananti-leaking ring 22 installed inside of thelid 2. Aball 3 is placed on theannular groove 20 of thelid 2. A positioning member 4 placed above thelid 2 hasplural positioning protrusions 40 at bottom of the positioning member 4, asecond hole 41 on middle of the positioning member 4 and abuffering edge 42 in arc shape designed at upper portion of the positioning member 4. Astraw 5 is inserted through thesecond hole 41 of the positioning member 4 and protruded inside of thecup 1. - While assembling, referring to
FIG. 1-3 , theanti-leaking ring 22 is installed inside of thelid 2 and theball 3 is placed on theannular groove 20 of thelid 2 firstly. Thepositioning protrusions 40 are plugged through thefirst hole 21 of thelid 2 so that thepositioning protrusions 40 can be engaged at the bottom of thelid 2 in order to fix the positioning member 4 above thelid 2. Theball 3 can be blocked and positioned by thebuffering edge 42 of the positioning member 4 so as to prevent theball 3 from dropping out of theannular groove 20 of thelid 2. Thestraw 5 is inserted through thesecond hole 41 of the positioning member 4 underneath thelid 2 and then thestraw 5 is pulled upwardly so that one end of thestraw 5 can be protruded from top of the positioning member 4. At last, thelid 2 is secured on top of thecup 1 so that the other end of thestraw 5 can be placed inside of thecup 1. - While using, referring to
FIG. 4 , a user can shake thecup 1 randomly while drinking beverage or water inside of thecup 1 by using thestraw 5 so that theball 3 on thelid 2 can be freely rolled or spun along theannular groove 20 of thelid 2. Therefore, thecup 1 can have more fun while using and draw customers' attention in order to increase odds of purchase. - While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and that the claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
Claims (2)
1. A cup comprises a cup and a lid on top of the cup, in characterized that a ball is placed on an annular groove in arc shape defined on top of the lid and a buffering edge is located at upper portion of a positioning member above the lid which means the buffering edge can block the ball on annular groove in order to prevent the ball from dropping out of the lid.
2. The cup as claimed in claim 1 , wherein, plural positioning protrusions located at bottom of the positioning member are plugged into a first hole defined on middle of the lid and engaged at bottom of the lid and a straw is inserted into a second hole set on middle of the positioning member and protruded inside of the cup.
