Abstract
In one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a spoon comprising: a head; a neck coupled to the head; an elongate handle coupled to the neck; and center-of-gravity changing means fitted with the elongate handle, wherein the center-of-gravity changing means moves along the elongate handle to the neck to change a center of gravity of the spoon such that the head is spaced from a table.
Description
- The present disclosure relates to a spoon or fork, and, more particularly, to a spoon or fork with center-of-gravity changing means to change the center-of-gravity of the spoon or fork such that a head thereof is spaced from a table having various contaminants thereon.
- Generally, in use of a spoon or fork, in order to prevent the head thereof from being polluted with the various contaminants on the table, the user may manually lay out the paper on the table. Thus, there is a need for removal of this manual paper layout on the table, in order to prevent the head of the spoon or fork from being polluted with the various contaminants on the table
- This Summary is provided to introduce a selection of concepts in a simplified form that are further described below in the Detailed Description. This Summary is not intended to identify all key features or essential features of the claimed subject matter, nor is it intended to be used alone as an aid in determining the scope of the claimed subject matter.
- The present disclosure is to provide a spoon or fork with center-of-gravity changing means to change the center-of-gravity of the spoon or fork such that a head thereof is spaced from a table having various contaminants thereon.
- In one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a spoon comprising: a head; a neck coupled to the head; an elongate handle coupled to the neck; and center-of-gravity changing means fitted with the elongate handle, wherein the center-of-gravity changing means moves along the elongate handle to the neck to change a center of gravity of the spoon such that the head is spaced from a table.
- In one implementation of the spoon, the center-of-gravity changing means includes: a ring portion movably fitted with the elongate handle; and a support portion coupled to the ring portion to support the spoon on the table.
- In one implementation of the spoon, the ring portion is made of silicon such that the ring portion is tightly fitted with the elongate handle.
- In one implementation of the spoon, the support portion is made of a magnetic material, and wherein the center-of-gravity changing means further includes a metallic pendant detachably attached to the support portion.
- In one implementation of the spoon, the ring portion is made of a synthetic resin or a metal to allow the ring portion to be bendable.
- In one implementation of the spoon, the ring portion winds the elongate handle multiple times.
- In one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a fork comprising:
- a head; a neck coupled to the head; an elongate handle coupled to the neck; and center-of-gravity changing means fitted with the elongate handle, wherein the center-of-gravity changing means moves along the elongate handle to the neck to change a center of gravity of the fork such that the head is spaced from a table.
- In one implementation of the fork, the center-of-gravity changing means includes: a ring portion movably fitted with the elongate handle; and a support portion coupled to the ring portion to support the fork on the table.
- In one implementation of the fork, the ring portion is made of silicon such that the ring portion is tightly fitted with the elongate handle.
- In one implementation of the fork, the support portion is made of a magnetic material, and wherein the center-of-gravity changing means further includes a metallic pendant detachably attached to the support portion.
- In one implementation of the fork, the ring portion is made of a synthetic resin or a metal to allow the ring portion to be bendable.
- In one implementation of the fork, the ring portion winds the elongate handle multiple times.
- In one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a knife comprising: a blade; a neck coupled to the blade; an elongate handle coupled to the neck; and center-of-gravity changing means fitted with the elongate handle, wherein the center-of-gravity changing means moves along the elongate handle to the neck to change a center of gravity of the knife such that the blade is spaced from a table.

Referring toFIG. 1 toFIG. 6 , the present spoon or fork with center-of-gravity changing means will be described in details. - As shown in
FIG. 1 , a spoon with center-of-gravity changing means, in accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a head having an innercurved face 11 and outercurved face 12; aneck 21 coupled to the head; anelongate handle 31 coupled to theneck 21; and center-of-gravity changing means 41 and 42 movably fitted with theelongate handle 31, wherein the center-of-gravity changing means moves along theelongate handle 31 to theneck 21 to change a center of gravity of the spoon such that the head is spaced from a table 51. - As shown in
FIG. 2 , a fork with center-of-gravity changing means, in accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a head; a neck coupled to the head; an elongate handle coupled to the neck; and center-of-gravity changing means 41 and 42 movably fitted with the elongate handle, wherein the center-of-gravity changing means moves along the elongate handle to the neck to change a center of gravity of the spoon such that the head is spaced from a table 51. - In an operation of the center-of-gravity changing means 41 and 42, as shown in
FIGS. 3 and 4 , when the center-of-gravity changing means 41 and 42 has moved to theneck 21, the center-of-gravity of the spoon change changes such that the head is spaced from the table 51. Thus, when the spoon is not used, the head does not contact the table. Thus, the contaminant may not be attached to the spoon head. - For use of the spoon, as shown in
FIG. 5 andFIG. 6 , the center-of-gravity changing means 41 and 42 moves as distant from the neck. As shown inFIG. 6 , the spoon head contacts the table. That is, the center-of-gravity changing means 41 and 42 may move freely along thehandle 31. -

FIG. 7 , the center-of-gravity changing means includes aring portion 41 movably fitted with theelongate handle 31; and asupport portion 42 coupled to thering portion 41 to support the spoon on the table 51. - In one embodiment, the
ring portion 41 is made of silicon such that the ring portion is tightly fitted with theelongate handle 31. - In one embodiment, as shown in
FIG. 8 , thesupport portion 42 is made of a magnetic material, and wherein the center-of-gravity changing means further includes ametallic pendant 43 detachably attached to thesupport portion 42. This may allow the center-of-gravity changing means to have a decoration function. Further, themetallic pendant 43 may be worn and thus may be easily replaced. - In one embodiment, as shown in
FIG. 9 , thering portion 41 is made of a synthetic resin or a metal to allow thering portion 41 to be bendable. Thus, thering portion 41 may wind theelongate handle 31. Thering portion 41 may be adapted for the diameter of the elongate handle or neck, as shown inFIGS. 9 and 10 . In one example, thering portion 41 winds theelongate handle 31 multiple times, as shown inFIG. 11 . - The above description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of describing the general principles of exemplary embodiments, and many additional embodiments of this disclosure are possible. Claims (6)
1. A spoon comprising:
a head;
a neck coupled to the head;
an elongate handle coupled to the neck; and
center-of-gravity changing means fitted with the elongate handle, wherein the center-of-gravity changing means moves along the elongate handle to the neck to change a center of gravity of the spoon such that the head is spaced from a table.
2. The spoon of claim 1 , wherein the center-of-gravity changing means includes:
a ring portion movably fitted with the elongate handle; and
a support portion coupled to the ring portion to support the spoon on the table.
3. The spoon of claim 2 , wherein the ring portion is made of silicon such that the ring portion is tightly fitted with the elongate handle.
4. The spoon of claim 2 , wherein the support portion is made of a magnetic material, and wherein the center-of-gravity changing means further includes a metallic pendant detachably attached to the support portion.
5. The spoon of claim 2 , wherein the ring portion is made of a synthetic resin or a metal to allow the ring portion to be bendable.
6. The spoon of claim 5 , wherein the ring portion winds the elongate handle multiple times.
