Abstract
An inclination adjusting device for a desk contains: two support columns, an elongated board, and a movable cylinder. Each support column includes a holding portion. The elongated board is mounted on the holding portion of each support column, and the movable cylinder is rotatably connected with a bottom of the elongated board and the holding portion. Thereby, the movable cylinder is driven to lift the elongated board by mating with an adjustment block of the holding portion to adjust an inclination of the elongated board.
Description
- The present invention relates to an inclination adjusting device for a desk which is capable of adjusting a tilted angle between an elongated board and a holding portion of each support column based on using requirements.
- A conventional angle adjusting structure of a desk contains: a base, a support column, a limitation element, and an elongated board, wherein the base includes a guiding rod connected thereon and a groove defined on the the guiding rod; the support column includes a first tube and a second tube, wherein the first tube has a retaining portion fixed on a bottom thereof so as to retain with the groove of the guiding rod, such that the support column moves on the guiding rod by way of the retaining portion of the first tube. The elongated board includes two connectors, and each connector has an accommodated slot fitted with a coupling extension of the second tube and connected with a bottom of the elongated board, such that the elongated board is in connection with and revolves on the coupling extension of the second tube. Furthermore, the limitation element is secured between the elongated board and the coupling extension so as to fix the elongated board.
- However, the elongated board is tilted complicatedly and troublesomely.
- The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an inclination adjusting device for a desk which is capable of adjusting a tilted angle between an elongated board and a holding portion of each support column based on using requirements.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide an inclination adjusting device for a desk which is operated easily by way of an adjustment block of the holding portion of said each support column.
- To obtain above objectives, an inclination adjusting device for a desk provided by a preferred embodiment of the present invention contains: two support columns, an elongated board, and a movable cylinder.
- Each support column includes a holding portion, the elongated board is mounted on the holding portion of said each support column, and the movable cylinder is rotatably connected with a bottom of the elongated board and the holding portion.
- Preferably, the holding portion has an adjustment block arranged on the bottom thereof adjacent to one side of the holding portion and electrically connected with the movable cylinder so as to drive a movement of the movable cylinder.

FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing the operation of the inclination adjusting device for the desk in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 6 is another perspective view showing the operation of the inclination adjusting device for the desk in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing the assembly of an inclination adjusting device for a desk in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing the operation of the inclination adjusting device for the desk in accordance with said another preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 9 is another perspective view showing the operation of the inclination adjusting device for the desk in accordance with said another preferred embodiment of the present invention. - The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
- With reference to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , an inclination adjusting device for a desk according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: - two
support columns 1, and eachsupport column 1 including aholding portion 11; - an
elongated board 2 mounted on theholding portion 11 of said eachsupport column 1; - a
movable cylinder 3, a first end of which is rotatably connected with theholding portion 11 of said eachsupport column 1, and a second end of the movingcylinder 3 being rotatably coupled with a central portion of a bottom of theelongated board 2, such that a height difference between the bottom of theelongated board 2 and a bottom of theholding portion 11 forms so as to slope themovable cylinder 3. - The
holding portion 11 has anadjustment block 4 arranged on the bottom thereof adjacent to one side of theholding portion 11 and electrically connected with themovable cylinder 3 so as to drive a movement of themovable cylinder 3. - The
elongated board 2 includes at least one sheet part, for example, theelongated board 2 includes one sheet part (as shown inFIGS. 7 and 8 ) or two sheet parts (as illustrated inFIG. 9 ). - Referring to
FIGS. 3 to 6 , in operation, theadjustment block 4 is started to drive themovable cylinder 3 to extend or retract, wherein when themovable cylinder 3 extends forward obliquely, it also rotates upwardly along the bottom of theholding portion 11 so as to lift theelongated board 2, such that a tilted angle forms between theelongated board 2 and theholding portion 11, thus tilting theelongated board 2. It is to be noted that an inclination of theelongated board 2 depends on an extending or retracting length of themovable cylinder 3, so theelongated board 2 is tilted based on using requirements. In contrast, as desiring to returning theelongated board 2 back to theholding portion 11 flatly, theadjustment block 4 is started once more so as to drive an retraction of themovable cylinder 3, and then themovable cylinder 3 actuates theelongated board 2 to rotate downwardly, thus returning theelongated board 2 back to theholding portion 4 flatly. - While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Claims (1)
1. An inclination adjusting device for a desk comprising:
two support columns, with each support column including a holding portion extending perpendicular to the support column and terminating in a free end;
an elongated board pivotally mounted at the free end of the holding portion of each support column about an axis, with the axis being stationary relative to each holding portion and each support column;
a movable cylinder rotatably connected with a bottom of the elongated board and the holding portion and driven to extend and retract by an electric motor; and
an adjustment block electrically connected with the electric motor of the movable cylinder to drive movement of the movable cylinder.
