Abstract
A trouser assembly for allowing a user to utilize a restroom without having to drop trousers includes a pair of trousers that are laterally split wherein the trousers selectively expose a crotch of a user. A closure is attached to the trousers to allow the user to utilize a rest room without the user having to drop the trousers.
Description
- The disclosure relates to trouser devices and more particularly pertains to a new trouser device for allowing a user to utilize a restroom without having to drop trousers.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a pair of trousers that are laterally split wherein the trousers selectively expose a crotch of a user. A closure is attached to the trousers to allow the user to utilize a rest room without the user having to drop the trousers.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a trouser assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a left side view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a left side perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new trouser device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 5 , thetrouser assembly 10 generally comprises a pair oftrousers 12 that has a pair ofleg portions 14 and acrotch portion 16. Each of theleg portions 14 receives one of a pair oflegs 18 of auser 20 when theuser 20 wears the pair oftrousers 12. Thetrousers 12 may be police uniform trousers that are worn in conjunction with anaccessory belt 22. Theaccessory belt 22 may comprise a weapon holster or the like. Each of theleg portions 14 has aninseam 24. Theinseam 24 of each of theleg portions 14 is split to define anopening 26 extending upwardly from a middle 28 of each of theleg portions 14 across an intersection of each of theleg portions 14 and thecrotch portion 16. - A
closure 30 is attached to thetrousers 12 and theclosure 30 is positioned on each of theleg portions 14. Theclosure 30 is coextensive with the opening 26 such that theclosure 30 selectively opens theopening 26. Thus, thetrousers 12 allow theuser 20 to utilize a rest room without theuser 20 having to drop thetrousers 12 or remove theaccessory belt 22. Theclosure 30 selectively closes the opening 26 wherein thetrousers 12 may be worn the byuser 20 in the convention of a uniform. Theclosure 30 may comprise a zipper or the like. - A
flap 32 is attached to thetrousers 12 and theflap 32 is positioned on theinseam 24. Theflap 32 has afree edge 34 and theflap 32 is coextensive with the opening 26. Thefree edge 34 is directed rearwardly from theinseam 24 such that thefree edge 34 of theflap 32 is not visible to an observer standing in front of theuser 20. Theflap 32 is biased to cover theclosure 30 such that theclosure 30 is concealed with respect to the observer standing in front of theuser 20. - In use, the
user 20 wears thetrousers 12 and theaccessory belt 22. Theflap 32 is manipulated to expose theclosure 30 and theclosure 30 is opened when theuser 20 utilizes the restroom. Theclosure 30 is closed and theflap 32 is manipulated to cover theclosure 30 when theuser 20 is finished utilizing the restroom. Theaccessory belt 22 is continually worn while theuser 20 utilizes the restroom thereby saving time for theuser 20. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
