Abstract
The present invention relates to an electric retracting hose & cord reel. A reel body is connected with a driving motor through a driven gear and a driving gear. The driving gear is provided with an arresting disc and a locking device corresponding to the arresting disc. The driving motor and an electromagnet in the locking device are connected with a control plate. The control plate is connected with a locking switch and a motor on-off switch on an arresting block. The locking switch controls the electromagnet through the control plate to act. The motor on-off switch controls the driving motor through the control plate to be started and stopped. The locking device is arranged on the reel body, and a hose can be controlled through the locking device to continue to be pulled out in a locking position; and the locking device and the motor are remotely controlled wirelessly through the locking switch and the motor on-off switch so as to achieve that the pull-out and the retraction of the hose or cord of the electric retracting hose & cord reel are automatically controlled. Because an overload protection device is arranged on the control plate, it can ensure that when external resistance and sudden condition are encountered, the motor is emergently stopped and the reel body can stop rotating at any time, thereby performing a safety protection effect on an operator and a working environment.
Description
- This application is a continuation in part of, and claims priority to, Chinese Patent Application No. 201510565028.4 with a filing date of Sep. 8, 2015. The content of the aforementioned application, including any intervening amendments thereto, is incorporated herein by reference.
- The present invention relates to a hose & cord reel, in particular to an electric automatic retracting hose & cord reel.
- At present, an automatic retracting hose & cord reel is mainly driven and retracted by a spring. The automatic hose & cord reel driven and retracted by the spring achieves the retraction of hose or cord by that the resilience force of a coiled spring drives a hose reel disc to rotate. For example, a coiling machine for power cord is disclosed in Chinese patent with the application number of 200510060743.9 on Feb. 2, 2006. It consists of a coiling box, a coiled spring component, a power cord coiling component, an electrical connection component and an arresting engaging component, wherein the coiled spring component comprises a coiled spring piece; one end of the center of the coiled spring piece is fixed with the coiling box through an axial core of the coiled spring; and one end of an outer circle of the coiled spring piece is fixed to a coiling wheel. When a power cord wound on the coiling wheel is pulled, the coiling wheel rotates to drive one end of the coiled spring piece in the coiling wheel to rotate so that the coiled spring piece is coiled to generate coiled force. When the power cord is released, the coiled spring piece is restored to an original shape to drive the coiling wheel to move reversely so that the power cord is wound on the coiling wheel and retracted. The arresting engaging component comprises a left and a right friction pieces, a left and a right stretching rods, an arresting rod, a vertical wiring terminal of which the reset spring is arranged on the end of the arresting rod, a reset key, and a button arranged on the upper end of the arresting rod. When the button is pressed, the arresting rod is pressed so that the arresting rod oppresses the left and the right stretching rods to be stretched up, the left and the right friction pieces press against the inner wall of the coiling wheel and the coiling wheel stops rotating. Meanwhile, the vertical cording terminal is also displaced downwards and presses against a rotating cord coiling bushing to turn on a connection point of a power supply point. The button is a resettable button. After a power supply is pressed, due to the elastic action of the reset spring, the button rebounds and resets when the power supply is pressed again. The button can also be progressive for controlling the resilience force to achieve that cord retraction speed is controlled.
- Because the coiled spring piece gradually restores output torque, the angular speed of the coiling wheel is faster and faster along with rotation and the diameter capable of coiling the wire on the coiling wheel is increased along with the increase of the cord coiled on the coiling wheel, the linear speed of the coiling wheel becomes greater and greater. That is, because the speed at which the power cord is retracted into the power cord coiling machine is greater and greater, the safety of a user will be endangered and the power cord coiling machine, a connected tool, etc. will be damaged. If the coiling wheel stops rotating only through human operation when the above-mentioned arresting device is adopted or the resilience force is progressively controlled to achieve the purpose of controlling the cord retraction speed, automatic retraction function and effect will be inevitably lost.
- In addition, the hose & cord reel retracted by adopting the coiled spring cannot achieve the function of automatically controlling the retraction.
- The present invention provides an electric retracting hose & cord reel in order to solve the technical problems of no automatic control of hose or cord retraction and usage safety present in the existing hose & cord reel.
- To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the present invention adopts the following technical solution:
- An electric retracting hose & cord reel comprises a reel body used for reeling a hose or cord, an arresting block used for retracting and arresting the hose or cord, and a locking device used for locking the rotation of the reel body, wherein a hose or cord is coiled on the reel body; the arresting block is mounted on the front end of the hose or cord; the reel body is connected with a driving motor through a driven gear and a driving gear for electric retraction of the hose or cord; the driving gear is provided with an arresting disc and a locking device corresponding to the arresting disc; the driving motor and an electromagnet in the locking device are connected with a control plate; the control plate is connected with a locking switch and a motor on-off switch on the arresting block; the locking switch controls the electromagnet through the control plate to act; and the motor on-off switch controls the driving motor through the control plate to be started and stopped.
- The locking switch and the motor on-off switch are connected with the control plate in wireless remote control.
- The driving motor is connected with an overload protection device. The overload protection device is connected with the control plate used for emergently stopping the reel body when external resistance and sudden condition are encountered.
- The locking device has a locking head. The upper part of the locking head is provided with a rotating axis: the middle part is connected with a reset spring; and the lower part is connected with the electromagnet.
- When the hose or cord is pulled, the electromagnet is in electrified state; the locking head is disconnected from the arresting disc; and the driving motor is in rotation stopping state.
- When the reel body is required to be locked after the hose or cord is pulled, the locking switch is pulled to a position so that the electromagnet is in de-energized state, and the arresting disc is locked by the locking head.
- When the hose or cord is required to be retracted, the locking switch is pulled to a position so that the electromagnet is in electrified state and the locking head is disconnected from the arresting disc; and after the motor on-off switch is pressed, the driving motor rotates.
- The present invention has the beneficial effects:
- Because the motor is adopted for driving the reel body to rotate, the electric retraction of the hose & cord reel can be achieved; the locking device is arranged on the reel body, and the hose can be controlled through the locking device to continue to be pulled out in a locking position; the locking switch and the motor on-off switch are arranged on the arresting block; and the locking device and the motor are remotely controlled wirelessly through the locking switch and the motor on-off switch so as to achieve that the pull-out and the retraction of the hose or cord of the electric retracting hose & cord reel are automatically controlled. Because the overload protection device is arranged on the control plate, it can ensure that when external resistance and sudden condition are encountered, the motor is emergently stopped and the reel body can stop rotating at any time, thereby performing a safety protection effect on an operator and a working environment. Relative to a spring retraction mode, the retraction speed of the motor is more uniform so that the condition that the speed of the reel body is faster and faster during spring retraction is avoided, thereby ensuring the safety of the working environment and effectively prolonging the service life of the product.
