Abstract

A woman's clothing system that includes a tank dress, a tube dress, a scarf, leggings and a long sleeved jacket that can be arranged in at least forty one or more combinations appropriate for all types of wear from beach to sight seeing to shopping to evening wear.

    • BACKGROUND
  • Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates women's clothing, and more particularly, to an extremely versatile clothing system that provides over forty combinations from five basic components.
  • Description of the Problem
  • It is a well-known problem that women have a very difficult time packing sufficient and correct clothing for a trip. A typical vacation, for example, might involve the beach, sight seeing, shopping, nightclubs, dancing and the like. Each of these activities typically requires a different attire. This necessitates packing beach clothing, casual wear for shopping, evening wear for night clubs, and usually several other types of wear. A vacation or trip lasting more than a few days may require several pairs of each type of wear. Hence, a woman facing a trip finds herself in a major dilemma of what to take and how to fit into what usually ends up being several suitcases. What is needed is a woman's clothing system that is made up from very few basic components that can expand into numerous different outfits for all types of activities.

  • The present invention relates to a novel versatile clothing system for a woman that includes five basic components A, B, C, D and E. These are A. a tank dress, B. a tube dress, C. a large scarf, D. leggings and E. a long sleeve jacket.   • The present invention relates to a novel versatile clothing system for a woman that includes five basic components A, B, C, D and E. These are A. a tank dress, B. a tube dress, C. a large scarf, D. leggings and E. a long sleeve jacket. These basic components expand into at least forty-one different combinations suitable for many different types of activities.
  • Each of the five components can be used in different modes. For example, the scarf can be used for accent, as at top and as a skirt. The dresses can be worn long or short, and the long sleeve jacket can be worn different ways.
  • FIG. 1 shows the first basic component, a tank dress that will be called A. As can be seen, this is a typical sleeveless tank dress with thin shoulder straps.

  • FIG. 44 shows a Love Set made from A+E. The tank dress is worn as a top with the long sleeved jacket worn as a long skirt.
  • FIG. 45 shows a Sun Fun Set made from C+E. The scarf is worn as a top with the long sleeved jacket as a skirt.
  • FIG. 46 shows a Scarf Set made from E+C. The scarf is worn as a skirt with the long sleeved jacket as a top.
  • As the above descriptions show, there are many variations and themes that can be worn from the five basic components useful for all types of wear from the beach to evening wear. It should be noted that there are many other combinations that can be made from the five basic components which have not been shown. These are within the scope of the present invention.
  • The present invention allows a woman traveler to pack only 5 items for weeks of fun. For extended trips, the present invention is particularly useful because some of the basic components can be worn while others are being laundered. These can then be switched so the that the remaining components can be laundered.
  • Several descriptions and illustrations have been presented that aid in understanding the present invention. One with skill in the art will realize that numerous changes and variations may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. Each of these changes and variations is within the scope of the present invention.

Claims (7)

We claim:
1. A woman's clothing system comprising five basic components that can be worn in at least 41 different combinations.
2. The clothing system of claim 1 wherein the five basic components consist of (A) a tank dress, (B) a tube dress, (C) a large scarf, (D) leggings and (E) a long sleeve jacket.
3. The clothing system of claim 2 wherein a cami outfit is made by combining (A) and (D).
4. The clothing system of claim 2 wherein a twist leg set is made by combining (C) and (D), the scarf (C) being used as a twisted top wrapped left to right or right to left and around.
5. The clothing system of claim 2 wherein a twist ord set is made by combining (C) and (D) and (E), the scarf (C) being used as a twist top to the leggings (D) with the long sleeve jacket (E) being used for evening wear.
6. The clothing system of claim 2 wherein in a day outfit is made by combining (A) and (C) and (D), the tank dress (A) being worn long with the leggings (D) with the scarf (C) used for accent.
7. A woman's clothing system consisting of a tank dress, a tube dress, a scarf, leggings and a long sleeved jacket that can be arranged in at least 41 combinations.
