In some implementations, the plurality of fasteners may be sewn to the material and the material then is attached to the strip of the hair weft. In this way, the fasteners may not damage the hair weft. In some implementations, the plurality of fasteners may be attached to the material in any other suitable manner. In some implementations, the material is elastic. - In some implementations, nylon snap tape (e.g., elongated material having nylon snap parts secured thereto) may be used to secure the fasteners to the strip of the hair weft. In some implementations, an additional adhesive material may be used to secure the nylon snap tape to the strip of the hair weft.
- In some implementations, a hair weft may be secured to the
hair extension device 100 by attaching the plurality of fasteners of the hair weft tofasteners 110 located on thehair extension device 100. In some implementation, a plurality of hair weft may be secured to thehair extension device 100 in a plurality of horizontal rows defined by a plurality ofstrips 105 b. - For example, in some implementations, a first hair weft may be secured to a
first strip 105 b offasteners 110 located closest to theback portion 100 e of thehair extension device 100. Next, a second hair weft may be secured to asecond strip 105 b offasteners 110 located above the first strip. This process may be repeated until the desired portion of thehair extension device 100 is covered by hair from the hair weft. - In some implementations, a head covering comprising hair extending therefrom on a first, exterior side and fasteners secured thereto on second, interior side may be attached to strip 105 to cover the
region 105 c 1. In some implementations, the hair extending from the head may be a plurality of hair wefts. In some implementations, the hair weft may be attached to the exterior side of the head covering through any method currently known to one of ordinary skill in the art or developed in the future. The hair can be attached to the exterior side of the head covering in any known or further developed manner. - In some implementations, the fasteners on the head covering may be positioned at or near the edge interior side of head covering. In some implementations, the fasteners may be arranged in any manner suitable to facilitate attachment to strip 105 c of the
hair extension device 100. In some implementations, the fasteners on the head covering may be mating counterparts to the fasteners of thestrip 105 c. In some implementations, the fasteners on the head covering may be either a male or female portion of a snap. - In this way, hair wefts and hair covering may be used to cover the
hair extension device 100. - In regions in the
front portion 100 a of thehair extension device 100 having an opening, the user's hair is extended through the opening to help achieve a natural look. - Reference throughout this specification to “an embodiment” or “implementation” or words of similar import means that a particular described feature, structure, or characteristic is included in at least one embodiment of the present invention. Thus, the phrase “in an embodiment” or a phrase of similar import in various places throughout this specification does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment.
- Many modifications and other embodiments of the inventions set forth herein will come to mind to one skilled in the art to which these inventions pertain having the benefit of the teachings presented in the foregoing descriptions and the associated drawings.
- The described features, structures, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments. In the above description, numerous specific details are provided for a thorough understanding of embodiments of the invention. One skilled in the relevant art will recognize, however, that embodiments of the invention can be practiced without one or more of the specific details, or with other methods, components, materials, etc. In other instances, well-known structures, materials, or operations may not be shown or described in detail.
