Description

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE Field of the Disclosure
  • The disclosure relates to blowing devices and more particularly pertains to a new blowing device for urging cooled air onto a user.
  • SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
  • An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a housing to contain food items and ice to cool the food items. The housing is structured to have a plurality of air jets in fluid communication with an interior of the housing. A fan is coupled to the housing. The fan urges air inwardly into the interior of the housing such that the ice cools the air. The fan urges the cooled air outwardly through the air jets so the assembly urges the cooled air onto a user.

  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a cooler assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 3 is a top perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 4 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 5 is a back view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 6 is a top perspective view of a power supply of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 7 is a bottom perspective view a power supply of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 7 thereof, a new cooler device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
  • As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 7, the cooled air blowing assembly 10 generally comprises a housing 12. The housing 12 has an outer wall 14 extending between each of a top end 16 and a bottom end 18 of the housing 12. Additionally, the top end 16 of the housing 12 is open to access an interior of the housing 12 allowing the housing 12 to contain food items 20 and ice 22 to cool the food items 20. The housing 12 may be comprised of a thermally insulated material in order to preserve the ice 22.
  • A plurality of air jets 24 is provided. Each of the air jets 24 comprises a respective disk 26 with an aperture 28 extending through a center of the disk 26. The respective disk 26 of each of the air jets 24 is coupled to the outer wall 14 of housing 12. Each of a plurality of air jets 24 extends through the outer wall 14 such that each of the air jets 24 is in fluid communication with an interior of the housing 12. The air jets 24 are evenly distributed around a first lateral side 30, a front side 32 and a second lateral side 34 of the outer wall 14.
  • A lid 36 is provided. The lid 36 has an exterior edge 38 extending between each of an upper surface 40 and a lower surface 42 of the lid 36. A rear side 44 of the exterior edge 38 is hingedly coupled to the top end 16 of the housing 12 such that the lid 36 closes the housing 12. The upper surface 40 of the lid 36 has a plurality of wells 46 extending downwardly therein. Each of the wells 46 is positioned adjacent to an associated one of four corners 48 of the lid 36. Each of the wells 46 may contain a beverage container 50.
  • A handle 52 has a horizontal member 54 extending between each of a pair of vertical members 56 such that said handle 52 has a U-shape. Each of the vertical members 56 is slidably coupled to a back side 58 of the outer wall 14 of the housing 12. Thus, the handle 52 is positionable in a deployed position having the horizontal member 54 being spaced upwardly from the lid 36. The handle 52 is additionally positionable in a stored position having the horizontal member 54 being aligned with the lid 36.
  • A fan 60 extends through the upper 40 surface and the lower surface 42 of the lid 36. The fan 60 urges air inwardly into the interior of the housing 12 such that the ice 22 cools the air. The fan 60 urges the cooled air outwardly through the air jets 24 wherein the fan 60 urges the cooled air onto a user 62. The fan 60 may be an electrical fan or the like.
  • Each of a pair of wheels 64 is rotatably coupled to an associated one of the first lateral side 30 and the second lateral side 34 of the outer wall 14 of the housing 12. Each of the wheels 64 is positioned adjacent to the bottom end 18 of the housing 12. Each of the wheels 64 abuts a support surface 66 such that the housing 12 is rolled along the support surface 66.
  • A pair of grips 68 is provided. Each of the grips is coupled to and extends inwardly into an associated one of the first lateral side 30 and second lateral side 34 of the outer wall 14 of the housing 12. Each of the grips 68 may be gripped to carry the housing 12.
  • A power supply 70 is removably coupled to the back side 58 of the outer wall 14 of housing 12. The power supply 70 comprises at least one rechargeable battery 72. The power supply has a fan port 71, a first input port 73 and a second input port 75. A fan cord 73 is electrically coupled between the fan port 71 and the fan 60.
  • A DC cord 74 and an AC cord 76 are each electrically coupled to an associated one of the first input port 73 and the second input port 75. The fan cord 73, DC cord 74 and AC cord 76 are each removable from the power supply. A power plug 77 is hingedly and electrically coupled to the power supply 70. The power plug 77 is deployable so the power plug 77 may be electrically coupled to a power source 78 so the power supply 70 is charged.
  • A selected one of the DC cord 74 and the AC cord 76 is electrically coupled to the power source 78 so the power supply 70 is charged. The power source 78 may be a vehicle lighter or an electrical outlet or the like. An actuator 80 is coupled to the power supply 70. The actuator 80 actuates and de-actuates the power supply 70.
  • In use, the user 62 places themselves in proximity to the assembly 10 so the air jets 24 direct the cooled air onto the user 62. The assembly 10 is utilized in a hot environment such as a beach or other similar recreational location. The assembly 10 can be utilized either strictly in the convention of a cooler or in the convention of an air conditioner.
  • With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
