Abstract

This new clothing item idea is designed to allow the wearer to appear to be wearing very droopy and loose fitting pants, (nearly falling off) yet because of the pants, underwear and belt-like item all being combined into one new item, the problems that have been arising from schools, etc. would be eliminated.
The “Droop Loops” portion of the garment would be the noticeable part of the new product that makes it distinctive. (possibly a different color). Young to middle-aged people have been wearing their clothes, especially pants, very droopy now for over twenty years as of 2014, making it far beyond any so called “fad”.

  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The subject matter of this invention is the changing of an item (jeans) to accommodate a younger generation, and to eliminate problems with schools and other authority. Namely because of the pants hanging below the top of the buttocks. The invention and idea will eventually be presented and sold to a reputable clothing manufacturer, once the patent is obtained.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The reason for this invention is because of the fact that the younger generation these days want to wear their clothes baggy, loose, and droopy. The “old school” generation doesn't like to see someones pants hanging off of their buttocks. This idea and product would solve both problems, as well as any legal problems with school officials, etc.
  • The belt on the shorts will support the pants, as well as the shorts, while still appearing to be very droopy, nearly falling off. Yet because of the belt being made of the same material as the shorts, it will be hardly noticeable.
  • The “Droop Loops”, (previously referred to as “Habit Loops” in the U.S. provisional application No. 61/850,085). are for holding on to for those who have a habit of holding their pants up or holding their crotch. • A snap and velcro on the shorts is all that is necessary to open or remove the pants, so the pants part of the garment can be permanently closed.

Claims (1)

1. The subject matter and first of two claims of this invention are the combining and attachment of two items (jeans or pants) to boxing shorts or briefs, making them become one new single item. This item, my invention, would be called “Droops Jeans”.
The purpose of this claim and invention is to eliminate the problems occurring by people wearing their pants too far down on their buttocks. These problems often occur with schools and law enforcement officials.
This new invention would allow people to wear their pants looking droopy to the point of nearly falling off, yet because of the items being attached and having a nearly invisible belt, they actually aren't.
This idea and invention is solely mine.
The second and additional subject matter and claim of the invention called “Droops Jeans” is the portion of the item referred to the Droop Loops. This portion is also referred to on page 4.
The “Droop Loops” are for the appearance of the need to hold the pants up, which is no longer necessary, because of the invention. Also for those who have developed the actual habit of holding their crotch or pants.
A loop on both sides is to accommodate both left and right handed people.
This claim is also solely my idea and invention
