Abstract

A player places a base wager and optional bonus/side wagers in a game played with a standard deck of playing cards. In a casino type of gaming establishment, all players compete against the house on the base wager; also the new game offers two unique optional side wagers. In a card room, the players compete against a banker.

The main competition is between banker and players or house and players, depending on the setting of the game. All players bet simultaneously on one competition hand. Players may bet on one or all of the three flop cards. The new game is purely a game of chance, with no selection or arrangement of hands involved.

It is strongly suggested that the present invention use an automatic shuffling machine in dealing cards for a faster game, fairness, and accuracy.

Description

BACKGROUND

The present invention arises in the field of card play, particularly in commercial establishments such as casinos and card rooms.
The present invention uses a standard deck of 52 cards, but it does not relate to any method of playing popular card games such as Black Jack or any type of Poker games.
In the present invention, there is no need to set or calculate any hand to play. Therefore the present invention is similar to the existing casino card games such as war, craps and roulette. None of these games require a player to employ any type of skill to play the game.
The present invention and all the games mentioned share the same characteristic. They are all games of chance and rely 100% on pure luck.
The present invention will be one of the easiest card games that can be played in any Casino or Card room.

SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

The present invention is a game of chance that uses two regular decks consisting of 52 cards, each without any joker card. The two decks should be separated from each other and not combined or commingled. Preferably, one deck should be blue and the other deck should be red, or any other color to ensure neither deck is combined or commingled.
In the present invention standard and conventional card ranking does not apply. Whether it is a face card, an Ace or a number card; all cards have the same value.
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, Dealer will flop three cards out of the blue deck and place on three designated squares on the middle of the table. The players employ no skill or interpretation in playing the current invention. Players simply choose one card to wager out of the three cards flopped. After all the wagers are placed, the dealer will use the red deck to reveal one card, one at a time and face up, until one of the three flop cards is matched.
(Example: The dealer flops three cards, A, K, Q, if the Ace comes out first before the King and Queen, the wager on Ace wins and the wagers on King and Queen lose).

FIG. 1( a) is a depiction of a gaming table using the method of the current invention in a preferred embodiment.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Detailed descriptions of the preferred embodiment are provided herein. It is to be understood, however, that the present invention may be embodied in various forms. The present invention is a game played with game indicia such as playing cards, each of which has one indicating face and one non-indicating face. The game of the present invention, in some embodiments, resembles the card game of war in that it is a game of chance without any need of card playing skills or knowledge. The present invention is simply a game of matching cards.
The present invention can be played in any reasonable environment. It is particularly adapted to be played as a wagering game in Casinos and/or card rooms.
The basic structure of playing the present invention is quite simple and easy. It is safe to say that any ordinary casino player will learn the new game in three minutes or less.

Object of the Game:

Match any of the dealer dealt card/cards to the cards from the initial dealer flop to win the MAIN bet.

How the Game is Played

1. The present invention is played using two separate standard decks of 52 cards without a joker card. The decks should be one red and one blue (or any combination of two different and distinct colors that will prevent any mistake of combining or commingling the two decks. The colors of each deck that a Casino or Card Room decides to use is not important so long as the game is played using two separate 52 card decks with no Joker card and are separate and distinct in color).
2. The game is played with a minimum of two players and a maximum of eight.
3. Unlike Black Jack or Poker, suits and numerical card ranking is not applicable. All cards have the same value
4. There should be a minimum MAIN bet in order to wager the DOOR bet and COPY bet.
5. The game is played on the regular Black Jack size table using the Matched'em layout.

These are Three Betting Options:

A) MAIN bet—If a player puts his wager on the Ace of spade, when any Ace comes out before any of the other two cards are matched, only the MAIN bet wins.
B) DOOR bet—If the player places a DOOR bet on the Ace of spade, when the very first card that comes out is any Ace, DOOR bet wins.
C) COPY bet—If a player places a COPY bet on the Ace of spade, when the Ace of spade comes out first before any other Ace and before any other card is matched, COPY bet wins.

Dealing Procedures:

1. Dealer will shuffle the blue deck using the automated shuffling machine and flop three cards, one for each square on the Table. The squares provided are numbered 1, 2, and 3.
2. No cards should be duplicated. If it is, the duplicated card should be replaced with a new card.
3. The players place their bet on the spot provided for one to three of the flopped cards.
4. Dealer will now retire the blue deck and use the freshly shuffled red deck at this time.
5. Dealer will start dealing the cards face-up, one at a time until one of the card on the square has been matched.
6. Dealer will take the losing bet and pay the winning one.

Payout Schedule


	1. MAIN BET
	a) Win on DOOR card	3:2
	b) Win after DOOR card	2:1
	2. COPY BET	10:1
	3. DOOR BET	11:1

Game Variations

The present invention will use three cards flop. It means there are three betting choices, while only one of the variation is being described, the present applicant desires not to limit his patent rights to such description. Other variations of the present invention are as follow:
1) Using two cards flop instead of three cards.
2) Using four cards flop instead of three cards.

Description by Reference to the Drawings

The method of the current invention will now be further described by reference to a preferred embodiment as depicted in the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1( a) illustrates typical Black Jack table employing the game method of the present invention. There are eight players per table. In a casino type of gaming establishment, all players compete against the house on the base wager and optionally, side wagers. In card room type of gambling establishment all players compete against third party proposition player also known as Banking Corporation.
FIG. 1( a) illustrates the three big blank squares. These are the squares where the dealer places the three card flop. The number at the bottom of big squares corresponds to the players betting choices for the MAIN bet.
FIG. 1( b) illustrates the following three betting structures for betting purposes. This illustration also shows what a player will see in front of him/her when sitting in seat 1 on the Matched'em table.
You can place a wager on the MAIN bet alone without placing a wager on the bonus bets which are the COPY bet and DOOR bet. But you have to place a wager on the MAIN bet to be able to bet on any bonus bet.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. A method of playing a card game, comprising a contest with a minimum of two players and a maximum of eight. The base wager and all bonus wagers are against the house, or in the case of a card room, the wagers are against the banker.

Comprising the steps of:

(A) Each player offers a wager.

(B) Using two separate standard decks of 52 cards without joker.

(C) Unlike Black Jack or Poker, cards ranking is not applied.

(D) It is mandatory that one deck is blue and other deck is red.

(E) Blue deck is used only to flop three cards for three betting choices.

(F) Red deck is used to determine the outcome of the competition. The cards are dealt face-up one at a time, until one of the flop cards is matched up.

2. The method of playing a game of claim 1 wherein the token used are playing cards, each of which has one indicating face on one side and one non- indicating face on the opposite side, with all players agreeing that all cards have the same value.

3. The method of playing a game of claim 1 wherein bonus bets are provided for bettors to wager on the various outcomes of every hand played, provided that bonus/side wagers are placed before the dealer starts using the red deck to deal the card face up one at a time.

4. The method of playing a game of claim 1 wherein the player has an option to place a bonus/side wager on the outcome of the deal being an exact COPY of the card he chose to bet on, this is called a COPY bet.

5. The method of playing a game of claim 1 wherein the player has an option to place a bonus/side wager on the outcome of the deal being the very first card to come out and matches one of the three cards from the flop he chose to bet on, this is called a DOOR bet.

6. The method of playing a game in claim 1 wherein there is a commission exacted on the players' MAIN bet. The commission only applies when the outcome is won by the very first card to come out from the red deck also called as DOOR card.

7. The method of playing a game in claim 1 wherein the payout schedule for MAIN bet and bonus/side wagers are provided but the exact payoff may vary upon the casino or card room's discretion.
