Abstract

The interchangeable wig gives the wearer the versatility of creating a full or half wig with the hair volume, hair length, hair texture and hair colors unique to his or her style within minutes. The wig cap consisted of multiple looplike bands that permit the use of interchangeable hair giving it flexibility unlike other wigs. Synthetic of human hair wefts are secured to hooklike strips that adhere to the wig cap so the wearer can easily construct a different hair style.

The present invention relates to a wig worn by human beings.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

There are various reasons why people wear wigs. For example, a person may suffer from hair loss due to disease, medication, or hereditary hair loss. Wigs are also worn as an addition to a costume or just to change their style. A wig can be used to accessorize a person's wardrobe, enhance and temporarily alter their appearance.
A problem with regular wigs is the wearer can get bored with the same style and to change that style the wearer must change the wig. Some wig owners cut their wigs to achieve a new style, however wig hair does not grow back causing the wearer to experience disappointment with the inability to achieve the original style, forcing the wearer to purchase another wig. Acquiring wigs in many styles can be expensive for the wearer.
However, Shera—the interchangeable wig has the capability of different styles and would prove less expensive and versatile.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The present invention has been made to provide a new wig (full or half), particularly an interchangeable wig.
Shera—the interchangeable wig offers features and advantages prior wigs could not offer.
The wig cap is comprised with multiple stretchable bands sewn or bonded together with strips of stretchable lace or mesh insets forming a stretchable wig cap. The stretchable bands are a looplike material. Wefts of hair are affixed to hooklike strips of material. The hooklike affixed wefts of hair are equally attachable and interchangeable anywhere on the looplike part of the wig cap, fastening the hooklike hair wefts to the looplike cap so the wearer can easily attach and detach the wefts of hair creating any desired style.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is an illustration of the front view of the wig cap. The main band 10 around the front of the cap is the adjustable headband. The cap allows the wearer to create any hairstyle with detachable wefts of hair.
FIG. 2 is an illustration of the back and partial side view of the wig cap comprised of stretchable bands 11 with the loop side out. The hands are sewn or bonded together to strips of lace or mesh 12 to allow the scalp of the wearer to breathe, to protect the wearer's natural hair under the cap and to create a natural looking part for wearer. The back right extended tab sewn onto the headband 13 has a hooklike side under to grip and attach to the looplike tab 14 on the opposite side. A piece of the material with the looplike side out is sewn to the extended tab 13 to allow the wearer to adjust the size of the head band of the wig cap and attach the hooklike weft of hair to the tab.
FIG. 3 a computer illustration of a small wire wig comb. The wig cap consist of three wire wig combs attached to the wig cap head band in the front and on the sides, just before the ears to secure the wig cap to the wearers head through their own hair.

Claims

1. A wig comprising,

a plurality of flexible bands and strips of stretchable material creating a wig cap;

an adjustable tab on the back of the head band of the wig cap; and

wefts of hair are interchangeable on the wig cap;

wherein said wefts of hair are lockable and attachable anywhere on the wig cap.

2. The wig set forth in claim 1, wherein the said wig cap is comprised of a plurality flexible, looplike, felt feeling material sewn or bonded together from the front to the back with strips of stretchable material such as lace or mesh in the shape of a human head.

3. The wig set forth in claim 1, wherein said strips of stretchable material such as lace or mesh on the wig cap allows air to flow to the wearers head and creates a comfortable natural feel for the wearers head.

4. The wig set forth in claim 1, wherein the plurality of flexible bands has an extended hooklike tab and a looplike piece of material covering the tab to allow the wearer to adjust the size of the head band of the wig cap and attach a hooklike weft of hair to the tab.

5. The wig set forth in claim 1, wherein a plurality of flexible hooklike material is assembled latitudinally and longitudinally together comprising a wig cap.

6. The wig set forth in claim 1, wherein wig combs are affixed inside the looplike wig cap; and

further comprising a plurality of combs; one in the front, one over each ear and one in the back to secure the wig to the wearers head.

7. A wig made up of a plurality of flexible looplike material to create a wig cap with wefts of hair or fibers that are affixed to hooklike material to attach to the wig cap.

8. The wig set forth in claim 7, wherein said wefts of hair (human, synthetic or fibers) are affixed to strips of hooklike material creating layers of wefted hair allowing the wearer to attach hair and detach hair strips anywhere and in any direction on the wig cap to create a full wig.

9. The wig set forth in claim 7, wherein said wefts of hair of any length, texture and color are affixed to the strips of hooklike material can be attached to and easily releasable from the wig cap.

The wig set forth in claim 7, wherein wefts of hair, hair extensions, loose hair and wefts of hair with natural parts (human or synthetic) are affixed to assorted size strips or pieces of hooklike material to create layers or locks of hair to attach to the hooklike material comprised of the wig cap.

11. The wig set forth in claim 7, wherein fibers are affixed to assorted size strips or pieces of hooklike material to create layers to attach to the hooklike material comprised of the wig cap.
