Abstract

A fashion accessory that is adjustable and removable or permanent. Attach the accessory to clothing using the fastener(s) and the adjustable mechanism provides adjustments to the accessory and clothing. The fastener(s) and adjustment mechanism are comprised with ornamental elements. The ornamental elements also provide additional style. Change the appearance and fit of clothing. Some elements include elastic cording which provides flexibility allowing for movement within the clothing.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • This invention relates to a removable or permanent adjustable fashion accessory that attaches to clothing and other desired articles. It could modify the look of clothing by adding additional style and/or adjust the fit without having to make permanent alterations.
  • Currently there ways to change the fit of clothing and often requires safety pins and/or alterations which can cause damage to the article. Belts are also worn as an accessory and/or to adjust the fit.
  • Fashion accessories have a long history and are worn for many reasons and have been used to enhance appearance and self expression. There are numerous fashion items such as earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets and belts.
    • TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The present invention relates to ornamental elements in particular to fashion accessory items such as chains, beads, jewels and other various elements.
    • SUMMARY OF INVENTION
  • These adjustable single and dual fashion accessories are fastened or attached to the inside and outside of clothing using fastener/coupling devices such as garter fasteners, rivets, snaps, clasps, clamps, hooks, magnets, jaw clips or other various means of fastening.
  • Another aspect is directed to the methods of manufacturing the accessory, an adjustment mechanism. An adjustment mechanism that can adjust the accessory and clothing fit. It can be adjusted horizontally and/or vertically and can be interchangeable.
  • The components (fastener(s) and adjusting mechanism are linked together by using various ornamental elements resulting in an adjustable fashion accessory. The fastener(s) are also composed with ornamental elements providing additional style. Attach the accessory to the clothing using fastening devices. The size and fit is adjusted using an adjustment device.
  • The ornamental elements comprises of any combination of jewels, chains, stones, cords, leather, plastic, metal, precious jewels, precious metals, diamonds, crystals, cloth, silver, gold and other various elements.
  • The ornamental elements not only act as a link between the fastener(s) and the adjustment mechanism, they also provide additional style.
  • Whether clothes have been thrown away/stored and new purchases; or for those items that may have been purchased but did not give that desired fit. These problems can be eliminated with this accessory.
  • This accessory can be used on all body sizes and various articles of clothing. Whether the need is to help hide a mid section, accentuate the waist or wanting an improved fit. It can also be used on hats, change the length of a skirt or dress and is easy to attach. This accessory can help achieve that desirable look.
    • DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a vertical view of the dual fasteners 2 placed in the inner part of the clothing article 1, and 3 being fastened to the outer part of the clothing article 1.
  • FIG. 2 is the same view as FIG. 1 using a single fastener 2 and 3 fastened to the inside of the clothing 1 and outside of the clothing 4.
  • FIG. 3 illustrates the front view of the fasteners 2 attached to the outside of the clothing 1.
  • FIG. 4 shows the fastener 1 that is placed inside the clothing article and faster 2 that is placed outside the clothing article and has the ornamental/decorative element.
  • FIG. 5 is the front view of the accessory that would normally been seen on the outside of the article of clothing. Dual decorative fasteners 1 and the adjustment mechanism 3 are linked together with the ornamental elements 2.
  • FIG. 6 illustrates a side view. Fastener 1 placed inside clothing article 3 is coupled together with the decorative fastener 2 that is placed outside clothing article 3.

Claims (5)

What is claimed is:
1. An adjustable fashion accessory that attaches to articles of clothing or desired area.
2. An adjustable fashion accessory according to claim 1, in which the attachment to clothing is provided by fastener device(s) such as garter fasteners, rivets, snaps, magnets, hooks, jaw clips, clasps, clamps or other various means of fastening.
3. An adjustable fashion accessory according to claim 1, in which additional adjustments can be made by using the adjustment mechanism that offer various clothing dimensions.
4. An adjustable fashion accessory according to claims 2 and 3, are comprised with various ornamental and decorative elements. These elements provide additional style.
5. An adjustable fashion accessory according to proceeding claims, changes the appearance and/or fit of clothing.
